Very nice service from Gabriel.
The staff was very friendly & the soup & appetizers were delicious.
Excellent service and delicious food, as always!
The waiter & the rest of the staff were extremely friendly & helping each other out.The food & service were great as well.
Arrived on time with guests and they did not have outdoor table for us as per reservation & follow up phone confirmation. Can I give negative stars?
When we sit down we got water and bread served to us we ordered an appetizer which came out within 10 minutes fantastic but then it took over 45 minutes for the main course to come out. When we mentioned it to the server he said that the cook was there a week and a half and he was still new and trying to get things perfectly right.
Nice to have a neighborhood joint, but totally overpriced for why it is….
Food was great. Service was slow for everything even water refills. Our server was nice but neglected to come to see if we needed anything. Which we did. The bus boy who we flagged down refilled our waters and brought us bread while we waited for our server. Nonetheless I’m happy the place was busy but instead of standing at the bar waiting 15 minutes for drinks he could’ve checked on us and delivered some carbs to us starving old coots. At the end of the day, everything was great from the kitchen and we’ll probably come back.
Manager was rude as the reservation got messed up The restaurant was not crowded and gave us a hard time with a table . Finally stuck us all the way in the back . It was not crowded all the time we were there .
Food was great, service was poor, too many young kids unattended.
Took almost 10 min to get someone to come by to take our drinks. They brought some bread and it was hard and kinda disappointing. The rest of the food, however, was outstanding. Everything we tasted was very good. The waiter was very good as well.
We really enjoyed the tapas and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We will definitely be back! It was a lovely place for a date.
As always, the food at Angelo Elia was excellent- tasty, hot, and nicely presented. The portions are more than sufficient. I probably should have been taken some of the Lasagna Rustica home, but it was so good, I just kept eating. The service was excellent- our waiter was friendly, attentive and efficient. This is not a fancy place, so if you’re looking for ambiance, look elsewhere. It is, however, a perfect neighborhood Italian restaurant with great food, great service, and a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere.
Food was delicious but service stumbled by serving appetizers with main dishes. Manager tried hard to overcome mistake, and all was forgiven in the end.
Fruit flies infestation indicative of sanitation or structural issues, both of which is a safety issue and can lead to inspection failures. Also, trying to eat your food with flies on it while they also land on you is not a great customer experience!
Excellent food, service and ambiance. A hidden gem. Will definitely return.
Great food, excellent service
The service was impeccable! We had soup, two salads, pizza, two glasses of wine, and a soda. Everything was delicious. The bill came to around $75 including the tip. We would definitely return!
Love this place, food and service at its best, manager walks the tables and ask if everything is ok, the gnocchi's are to die for, the tapas are great, the cocktails insane, I don't mine driving from Boca..............
Angelo's is always a go to whenever you want a consistent meal. It never disappoints!
Food as always is exceptional tasting and fresh. My go to for Italian food and lollipop lamb chops and fresh fish specials.
Roseanne was a fantastic server. My niece loved her pasta and parm. I had the Angelo Pizza.. Great casual restaurant with delicious options
Chicken Meatballs are fantastic! The tables are spaced nicely.
the manager and staff are always great and the food an d drinks are also great
Great food and ambiance. Highly recommended.
Went for mother's day. Sat near the window. Nothing to look at. Seemed ok inside. Eggplant appetizer was cold in the middle but the sauce was warm. Same with the chicken parmesan. Pizza is good. But all in all wouldn't go back. Nothing that great. Only chose because everywhere else I wanted to go was booked.
Food was great but would had been better if one entree was not forgotten. Pretty sad having to watch others eat while I’m just drinking water.
We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. A lovely restaurant and the food was outstanding.
We travel and eat out frequently, we will most certainly return here next time we are in the area. Food, service and atmosphere was excellent! Don't let the strip mall location deter you, this place is simply fantastic.
No joking, if there was a higher rating available I would give it.
We were seated by the corner near the window and wall with the wall was being repaired with visible hardware; an eyesore.
We ordered cocktails that took at least 15 to 20 minutes for the server to notify us that they were out of our particular beverage. After deciding on an alternative (not discounted) it took another 15 minutes to get out drinks by that time our appetizer pizza arrived which was excellent. We ordered bread extra toasty that took a while to arrive.
Both couples decided on the special flank steak which arrived room temp and lackluster veggies. By that time we were too hungry and tired to complain because we never do.
We use to be regulars at this restaurant but we are afraid that it’s lost it’s magic.
Service was outstanding per usual....and great drinks
We went for dinner after 10 hours of work the waiter place all the order together appetizers and meals
One Neal cane before anything and when we ask what happen with the appetizers and to make another one after the attended said that putting it under the lamp will dry it but he took it back not even two minutes later we got all food soup appetizers and meals all together and even though we said the same the left all the plates in the table. We also specifically mention no mussels and extra clams we got the mussels no extra clams and got charge and up charge for the change. By the time I finish my soup everything my son and my meals were cold and the waiter careless and then my husband second meal came and he was the only one that ate the food. I told him that we will take the food to heat up at home and he did not say we make you a new one or anything and then after not eating and all the aggravation I get a 240 bill with the additional charge of the clams I did not get and he only said sorry for the confusion. We are not going back there and with the new Mgmt and service I will not recommend it
Food was quite bland. I had the rigatoni, it looked and tasted like someone dumped ground beef into tomato sauce and mixed into macaroni. Drinks were weak enough that we had to order an additional shot to put into each drink to even taste the alcohol.
Only one table of 3 women were inside and 3 two tops on outside.Young man at host stand acted like he didn't know Open Table. We sat at the bar and he waited on us.I ordered plain iced tea and he said no problem. My husband got water right away! We ordered a bowl of pasta fagiole to split and we both disliked it and sent it back. Meanwhile we barely saw any staff. We ordered a pizza and frankly weren't impressed.Overall service was inadequate and slow!! I talked to a friend who has been there and said the same thing.Management needs to step in!!
Friends in town and we were told wine was 1/2 price so we ordered a bottle and realized we were charged full price
Service was terrible. Restaurant was very loud from a table with some ladies. Food was not good at all .
The restaurant was nice as always. The sever took a long time to get our drinks and our order. She was spending too much time on a table of kids that were probably her friends.. The food was good. My husband soup came with our entrees. She tried to cover it up and blame it on us. Soup is always a starter. Also my son ordered a calzone with fires and she said they were waiting and the sauce and we had to ask for the fires.
Food was amazing. Service just ok.
Our sal in was a little overcooked and vegetables too
But the pasta Fagoli soup was delicious
Love this restaurant. The chicken meatballs with escarole and beans is heavenly. I’ve tried to duplicate this recipe but it’s never quite the same. I’ve never been disappointed with any choice on the menu. It’s really a great restaurant and reasonably priced.
