Angelique Euro Cafe Ratings and Reviews
We went to Angelique Euro Cafe many years ago when they first opened. We liked it, but thought at that time, it was a nice place, and good salads.
We went recently (Friday night) and were very impressed. We really liked their menu selections and all ended up ordering from their Holiday Spice menu.
The menu has a lot of thought behind it, and the quality of the food reflects on this.
The service was spot on, very caring waitress. She greeted us by my name from our reservation and took great care of us.
The wine was very good and paired well with our dishes. On a chilly Florida evening, the osso bucco special was perfect. My husband ordered the green pepper steak, and it was outstanding.
Their fries were amazing, and when we go back I'm definitely going to order one of their moules y frites.
We will definitely be going back!
Love the interior decor, light, service, and ambience. A great place to catch up with old friends.
It was Christmas day dinner, set menu & price, short staffed. Food ok for $39 w/o tax or alcohol, we weren't told in advance 18% gratuity be added, so a $36 bottle of wine,1 croquette $10,subtotal $202.oo tax $16.16, $40.40 IMPOSED TIP. total $258.56.
NOT WORTH IT. We're not going back.
This was the first time that we have eaten here, and the whole experience was wonderful. It started when we made our reservation- two of our party are vegetarians, and the person we spoke to went over the price fixe menu holiday menu and assured us that substitutions could be made where necessary. When we arrived, our server had already been made aware of our preferences and the kitchen had prepared a vegetarian main course for us (gnocchi with truffles!)
The food itself was terrific; fresh, top-quality ingredients, and very skillful hands in the kitchen. The Parmesan risotto was top notch, and the white chocolate, rasberry bread pudding was the most perfect bread pudding that I have ever eaten.
All in all, it was the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Excellent food and service, and good value will have us going back soon!
This was our second Christmas dinner at Angelique. The staff was so warm and welcoming and actually remembered us from last year. Limited menu on Xmas but plenty of variety and everything was fresh and well-prepared. Love the wild caught salmon.. Prices on wine were very reasonable. Great food and service. Will definitely return.
This restaurant is consistently great every time I dine here. The service is good and friendly, yet not spectacular and the food is absolutely delicious. We had a great server this last visit and the bus staff is always very attentive. The food and menu is creative and the best value for premier french food at a great price. Great French wines and great prices too...especially on half off Wednesdays!
Tried this place using Miami Spice, so $39 for three courses. The choices for all courses were very good and varied unlike previous Spice attempts in previous years (not this place though). Service was very good and not hurried, two Temperanillo wines were not available unfortunately but we had a substitute in the end which was a reasonable $32. We had pumpkin soup and a watermelon salad for appetizers and both enjoyed bouillabaisse for the entree. The food was all to a very high standard. I would certainly recommend this place. Oh, and the noise level was not bad, I appreciate that.
As alway Carlos is there to create you, this time since we were there for a birthday the first bottle of wine was on him. (thank you very much) The waitress Cecilia has taken care of us in the past and she also was great.
One of my favorite places to go.
I had been wanting to eat here for some time and took advantage of Coral Gables Restaurant Week to do so. Unlike some restaurants where you practically have to beg them to give you the special, discounted menu these folks were upfront with it. The selections were generous, creative and flavorful. On Tuesdays-Wednesdays-Thursdays they have $15 bottles of wine from their wine menu. The food was so good that I decided to get take out for my kids who also enjoyed it. They now have a regular customer!
I keep going back because the food is good. But the service must improve. Inattentive servers Took way too long to ask for our order much less ask about drinks or coffee for brunch. Also although the food is food the orange juice was not and I had to send back But I will go back because I like the food and brunch options
We have been here a number of times the past few years, but this was the first time for brunch. Food and service was excellent. There was an event going on inside so we sat on the patio. We were there for our anniversary and the owner gifted us with a bottle of champagne to take with us. This was not expected and very nice of them. We will definitely go back and I definitely recommend them for brunch or their regular menu.
