Great place! Loved that you could choose a small plate.
All of our meals were great. Our server, Denise, was very attentive without being overly hovering. In fact, the entire staff was friendly and professional. This was my first visit but certainly will not be my last. I was somewhat surprised to read some reviews complaining about the noise level in the dining areas. We found it easy to carry on conversations at our table without the need to raise our voices. All & all an enjoyable evening.
I wish I was not disappointed, just don’t believe this ranks as a near 5 star experience. Maybe there is no competition. Caprese salad was good, the antipasto was poor. The cheeses were unrecognizable ( no parmigiana, mozzarellas, provolones??). 3 semi soft cheeses that all tasted the same. The meat was sparse under a pile of pickled vegetables.. pasta dishes were just ok, a little bland. Wines by the glass are a non starter but by the bottle are ok and priced that way. It was an average meal at an above average cost
We had 8:45 reservations and were told they were running late and they suggested we get a drink in the bar. We couldn’t even walk into the bar it was so packed with people, so we sat in the lobby and looked over the menu. Literally 2 minutes later the hostess came to tell us our table was ready. They seated us at a table for two outside the door to the wine cellar, so people were coming and going past our table constantly, not to mention this is also just outside the overflowing bar area with people standing next to our table talking loudly to others in their party. Not very romantic or private : (
Later 3 women dressed as hookers came into the restaurant with their dates and there were older men with their young girlfriends, definitely not our type of crowd!
We ordered a cup of mushroom soup which was fabulous. I ordered the veal agnolotti and my husband had the paperdelle caprese entrees, which were both absolutely delicious. I had a sexy Sicilian cocktail to start which I would not recommend, it had the aftertaste of St Joselph’s baby aspirin. The food and service were really good and we will try this restaurant again, hopefully during the week the clientele is more our speed. And we will ask for a better table as well away from the bar area.
Butternut squash ravioli fantastic. Pasta with meat and marinara not enjoyed. Calamayand Halibut good but stretched with cauliflower. Good but not expected.
Service and food impeccable
Excellent in all respects. A top-notch restaurant...period!
Had the Halibut and Mushroom risotto. Excellllet! Service and wine was the best. None better
SOme of the best food and service I have ever had. I would strongly recommend out to anyone who visits the area. The wine list was awesome.
We had a dinner for 4 in one of the alcoves. It was my wife's birthday. We had the prix fix menu offering. The food was exceptionally delicious and beautifully served. The waiter could not have been better or nicer. It was a truly memorable service. We are repeat diners at Angelina's and never have been disappointed. Kudos to them!
Our server, Eric was terrific. Great recommendations, food & service.
Very good , great service , Along with a out of this world a wine selection,
First time visit. One of the best meals and experiences we have ever had. Ordered the Fried Calamari and Halibut appetizer, Tomato Caprese, Angelina's Salad, Halibut Picatta, and Veal Marsala. Highlight of the evening was our waiter Antonio. He is from Italy and had only been in the States for three months. Since this was our first visit, he took time to explain the history of the restaurant and where all the fish came from. He was extremely attentive throughout the meal and very personable. Definitely recommend Angelina's, but for the best experience ask for Antonio to wait on you. Come with deep pockets as the experience is a bit pricey but well worth it.
This was a perfect anniversary dinner spot. Our food was great and served hot. A little noisy when we first got there, but it is because it is such a popular place. Our waiter was friendly and helpful.
Outstanding, the best in Florida hands down!!! Service was outstanding and unparalleled. I will go there again and again!
Amazing fresh made pasta never disappoints here! Their Arancini is second to none, and the mushroom dipping sauce is a nice complement. Having been to several other Italian establishments, Angelina’s is still tops in my book.
This has been my third dinner here in last week and as usual just fantastic. Food was terrific and wine list always ranks. Warner was our waiter and spot on with his wine recommendation. Main dishes ranged from parpadelle capri, to the lamb, to the risotto and the sea scallops-all were delicious.
excellent food ambiance and service. Good value.will definitely return.
We had a wonderful dinner. It was our first time dining at Angelina’s. The food was excellent and the wait staff were very attentive. We will definitely recommend your restaurant to our friends and family. The only negative was the noise while dining. We were celebrating my husbands birthday. Thank you for making it a special evening. S. M.
Beautiful place a lot of staff very attentive way over priced for pasta dishes. Portion size too small not enough sauce on anything but looks pretty. Signature special of noodles with truffles was so dry couldn’t eat it $70 dish? If anyone expects those prices food should be excellent.
The wine and cocktail program is off the hook! The food is both innovative and traditional and the service is impeccable. Highly recommended!
Great dinner except for the filet. There was a ton of tomato sauce on the plate which overpowered the steak. Said something to the server and the General Manager came to the table and apologized profusely and comped the half eaten steak which was an amazing gesture. Also sent us home with free dessert so they absolutely more than made up for it. Ordered butternut squash with shave truffles and it was amazing. Wife had fish that was awesome as well. Really noisy where we were seated but there were a couple large groups around us so to be expected. Overall was a nice experience although a tad on the higher priced side.
Food was very good. Ambiance is pretty old school but nice. Get a booth if possible. Service is attentive although somewhat strange. Example if you bring a dish to the table that was intended for the whole table server should clear a spot and not wait for dinners to. Good place to eat.
I had the scallops and pork belly, the portions were fair but the scallops were very salty, the remainder of the meal was good.
Our fourth visit, and as before, outstanding. Our server, Katy, was cheerful, knowledgeable about the menu and wine, and attentive. My wife and I split the Baked Cheese & Eggs appetizer (gotta try it), Tomato Caprese salad (the best we’ve had), and a simple pasta dish—Pappardelle ‘Capri.’ Dessert was their deservedly famous Zippoli for Two. With three glasses of wine check was $111. We are looking forward to our fifth visit.
It was a wonderful evening all around! Perfect!
My fiancé and I live in Tampa. We like to do a weekend trip to the Naples area 3 - 4 times a year. We always make sure we stop by Angelina’s at least once a trip. We really enjoy this restaurant. The staff and service are great. Great food as well.
All good but our table was just inside doorway from bar so a lot of traffic and noise. Food and service excellent.
The food was excellent but the noise level in the small, contained rooms was overwhelming and took away from the enjoyable experience.
Our server had too many tables but was still very friendly. It was a bit slow. Food was very good.
We checked in at the desk and told the hostess we were going to the bar. Our guests arrived and were seated. Only after they came to look for us at the bar did they know we were already there.
They felt the girl at the desk needed help doing her job
Our waitress and dinners were very good.
Can’t wait to go back!❤️ Our server was very attentive. Food was amazing and beautifully presented.
2 meals - out of 4 -delivered to the table were incorrect. The 2 of us with correct orders waited with our plates cooling while the other 2 meals were re-prepared . Quality of the meals were no better than average, with one being poor. Our check was correct until the billing statement was presented for signing. It had a total more than double the correct amount. This was corrected as an "honest mistake".
Our server Katie was beyond fantastic. Thank you for making the visit so wonderful. Warm regards
Thank you again for a wonderful evening. We had a lovely anniversary celebration.
As always, the service was excellent. The food exceeded expectations. The ambiance fit the anniversary mood that we were in. The management went to special effort to assure that our evening was special. The zepolis were out-of-this-world. Rebecca was just outstanding!! The wine was overpriced, too bad since we would gladly pay $100-150 for a good Barolo, Amarone, or Brunello, but the $250-600 price tags are way out of line with reality!!!!!
The service was excellent and two of the meals were great. Our fish meal was not very good. The cost of all the meals was very high. The desert was fantastic.
I'd recommend the prix fixe menu. The pork osso bucco was great as was the Angelina salad (I had) and soup (my wife had) and the calamari appetizer. After the $25 "rebate" we paid no more for the wine than had we brought it ourselves and Marco recommended an excellent wine that we greatly enjoyed.
Excellent. Sean was terrific very knowledgeable .....
All good see you again soon.
