This was my third visit to Angela's on the Crosswalk and I can't wait for my fourth! I've had brunch twice and can not get enough of the Quiche Lorraine with a mimosa! Service is always excellent!

We had great service. It was our first time dining here and read a lot of great reviews. My 8 year old son joined us and ordered oatmeal with a side salad. I had the Belgian waffles and my brother had the meatloaf. The oatmeal came with cinnamon and sugar on the side. The oatmeal was extremely bland after sprinkling a little of the brown sugar and cinnamon. We ended up adding the entire little cup and it was still tasteless. Side salad was good, he ate all of that. The meatloaf, although moist, lacked any sort of texture. The Belgian waffle was not crisp on the outside. It came out soggy all over. Flavor was okay but just not what I expected. Overall, it was an okay experience. May have had high expectations before going in.

My family was visiting and we wanted to try some place new, fun, and close. The location was great and the ambience was fun. The home cooked food was delicious and portions are large. The live band was enjoyable. The only negative was when my sister ordered the daily special and it arrived after the rest of us had finished eating. The waiter said they were having trouble in the kitchen and no offer was made to comp her meal. Will probably give them a second chance, but disappointed in the service and failure to address the problem.

Service was great, food was amazing, and staff was awesome! Had never been to Angela's before, but made a reservation for 12 people of all ages through OpenTable. WOW - it was GREAT! Was a great decision, and plan to go back to Angela's again and again and again!

Went to Angela's for Mother's Day breakfast. Food was delicious and well priced. Waitress treated my mom to free pastries and a free rose which were a nice touch for the occasion. This was my second time at Angela's and I always fall in love with the ambiance and the food is also great.

Nice spot for lunch. Our experience was "so-so" in that the server seemed confused about my order. First, she brought the wrong dish. Then, she told me that they were out of what I ordered, but had something similar. So, I said "ok." Finally, she brought out something that I hadn't even ordered, but I ate it anyway. At that point, I was starving! She didn't seem to understand the confusion. The redeeming quality was the the owner brought a complimentary piece of pie for my birthday as we were celebrating it that day. It was a divine slice of coconut cream pie! I would definitely go back if just for the pie!!

We had some early mix ups with our drinks, and a little slow, but I'll chalk that up to the fact that our waiters wasn't feeling well and had to leave. We had the chicken-fried bacon-good, but would recommend some more spices. Shout-out to Brittany, one of the managers-her wit and service made the evening. I think Angela's has a lot of potential. I'll be back. I'm relocating from St. Louis, and this is one of my first "finds".

What a wonderful surprise to find one of my favorite chefs, John Pladocostante, working at Angela's. John's presence means that I will definitely be back! The service was VERY friendly and sincere. Two small gaffes: 1) soup was served at same time as entrée; 2) menu advertised on OpenTable (pasta with Bolognese sauce) was actually not offered, as advertised. However, there is no question that Chef John will clean up minor items like these in no time at all! Well done.

Small place with not enough help. We stood for 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge our arrival and another 5 to be seated. Service was very slow. Food choices were limited and quality was simply fair. Not the worst place I've been to but certainly not going to make a trip to return.

Found Angela's on OpenTable and went on a Saturday night. Live music was great. Would like to see more options for vegetarian/vegan lifestyles. Vegetarian sandwich was not much for the price. About the only other option was oatmeal since you can get breakfast all day. Service was off this night compared to what I read in previous reviews. Overall I would give it a try again and hopefully have a more encouraging experience. Also did to get an impression that asking for anything special either for dietary or allergy needs would be accommodated. Maybe it was the server, not sure.

We attended for Valentine's dinner. A set menu at $45/person was offered. The quality of the food was poor. Every course was disappointing. Terribly overpriced.

I read online about the homemade pies .... It really made me want some pie! I did get some pie, and it was good. Not great, just good. Sadly, the rest of the food we ordered was terrible .... Pretty much inedible: big lumps of uncooked potato in the mashed potatoes; awful scrambled eggs; fatty, under-crisp bacon; dry, hard biscuits .... On the bright side, our waitress was very sweet and attentive. If not for her, the restaurant would have 1 star for everything.

I like this place. Good home cooking on the menu. Reasonably priced. Friendly service. Music on the weekends. Very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast available all day. I had the grilled chicken which was very tasty. I will try the chicken and waffles next time. My wife had a huge portion of lasagne, She took most of it home. We will be back.

Great for Singles, young adults, families and older adults of which I had notice all in the restaurant. Great for brunch, lunch, dinner and later. They have a nice selection of different gourmet teas which had a separate menu just for the teas. And of course specialty made to order coffees. They also had a nice selection of specialty beers with a higher alcohol content which will interest me later in the day along with their specialty drinks. I will come back to try other favorites of which I heard their Meatloaf is to die for.

We have been to Angela's twice recently for evening dining. Angela's provides a very nice laid back atmosphere, great food, and a nice selection of wines, beers, and desserts . The live music we have witnessed was excellent with a pleasant volume level. The service is friendly and responsive. We especially enjoyed the salads. We had breakfast last week. The scrambled eggs were perfect and the crispy beacon was delicious. The accompanying pancake was served on a warmed plate, which was much appreciated.

This place is a real find. Everything on the menu is excellent. The price points can't be beat. Walking in you get a friendly greeting and walk by the amazing desert pies and pastries. The wait staff is very attentive and the owner is almost always on property. I go there at least once every two weeks. The breakfast is amazing and I have never had a bad experience there.

Highly recommended.

Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Great menu where everything looked so appealing it was hard to choose. Also very unique cocktail menu. We had the chicken fried bacon for an appetizer which was good, just wish it was more crispy. Nonetheless still very tasty. My husband had the chicken fried steak and I had the meatloaf. Both yummy. Their red sangria was very refreshing and not too sweet. Also tried the fig and acai cocktail which I loved the unique flavor. We were too stuffed for desert, but everything sounded wonderful. Can't wait to return and try some other things on the menu!

I was happily surprised here. We were greeted pretty quickly and given a table. They had live music - the band sounded really good. I am glad we were in the very back because it is a small restaurant, so the music made it difficult to communicate with the server, it was probably a little loud for that size of a place. We started with a split order of Fried pickles and Fried zucchni, both were delicious and I would get again. My husband had the meatloaf, above average, I had the chicken fried steak, average. When they say creamed corn, they mean it. It's whole corn kernels sitting in a thick, sweet cream. I wasn't expecting that. Service was very good. As a bonus, they have Big Red and that makes me happy.
