Very disappointed that my requested Diamond Club Patio Table was sold to a Vendor. Frustrating that a “LOYAL” Season Holder gets screwed so that Angels Public Relations can benefit!
I pay the “big bucks” too!!!!
Perhaps Diamond Club “Open Table” should notify in advance that Diamond Club Patio Tables for specific games will be sold....
The Royal Enema at the Hotess desk was totally not appreciated...
I was disappointed that it was not possible to order dinner off of a dinner menu, and the only dinner choice was the buffet. In years past, we had a choice between the buffet, or a dinner menu. But that choice was not available this time.
Laura was a fabulous waitress, always have the best time at The Lexus Diamond Club Patio!
In order to get a good seat, you have to get there early. Otherwise you will be seated on the ends next to the speaker.
Food is always fantastic at the Diamond Club. Buffet is $50 so that's why I rated it good for value. A steak can cost you $50+ so the buffet is a better option. You can always order a burger or hot dogs as well.
I had a group of 4 friends and we all thought that the experience was worth the price but the food was not worth $50 ea. The food was good but not $50 good. Again, everything at a Ballpark is a little expensive so I guess the $50 isn't out of line in this context. Service was sparse and our bill was wrong. Would I recommend this? Absolutely! Seating on the patio having lunch, beer and buddies watching an Angel Game is a great experience. Temperatures were in the low 90's and we were sitting in the shade enjoying ice cold beverages. Great day!
Great way to have a great buffet and catch the game.
Don’t bother. Receptionists were rude. Food leaves much to be desired. Even though we reserved at the first possible time on Open Table, we were told all tables were “ purchased” and we got the worst available. Maybe the receptionists were purchased. No other explanation.
The view from the Patio Dining area right behind home plate was awesome. The Hawaiian theme delighted my wife and the service provided by “Kim” was excellent! Lexus Diamond Club Lounge 👍
The buffet has Kalua pork, shrimp cakes, tri tip, quesadilla, nice salads & deserts, etc. With drinks, etc. the meal for 2 = $180. Angels won 11-5 plus the fireworks show immediately after the game was a treat. We were at the second seating of buffet & watched whole game + fireworks from the patio table. It was great!
The food and service is always top notch and it's a great place to watch the game!
Our server Janice was fantastic as usual, she treats us like family and always makes our time more enjoyable.
The food was great enough for the $50
It's a bit pricey for me (buffet and a few drinks and it was $300) but for a special occasion it was great (aside from the Halos getting clobbered by the Astros). Our server, Bri, was awesome, as was her assistant whose name escapes me at the moment...
Sitting at the Diamond Club Patio tables is delightful ....
we enjoy watching the ballgame while having the opportunity to choose from the fine dinning menu..
the bar with menu is also very delicious with a variety of good choices and I suggest the burger, but the potatoes wedges gotta go! Bring back the French fries!
Everything went great. The Angels won so that made it perfect. One thing I learned if you have diamond club seats you don’t have to wait in the long lines to get in. There is a special entrance for the diamond club. Save a lot of time and hassle so make sure you use it.
Great food and ambiance. Always a great way to watch an Angels game.
The ladies at the Lexus diamond club we're smiling and greeted me with a happy feeling.got my wristband for the buffet then shown to my seats, the lady was very polite. The hostess took me to my table and she said my waitress Janice would be taking care of you. She asked me if she could get me a drink and I said that would be excellent. Arriving to my table with my salad there was water and beer and silverware what service excellent. Janice my waitress is an added plus to the evening very charming and a great asset to the Lexus diamond club. Absolute great experience !!!! Joey
Service was mediocre, front desk didn’t seem to know what was going on which was disappointing considering their two seating options. Buffet was mediocre at best. Ceviche was ok, roast pork tenderloin was dry and little sandwiches looked as if they’d been out all day. On the plus side, it was the best $50 hot dog I’ve ever had! Charcuterie was good. Truthfully, you are best off making a reservation for cocktails and shade.
Food was ok, service was great, prices too high. It would be preferable to be able to order off the bar menu as well.
I always love coming to the Diamond Club and catching the game from a table where I can have drinks in real glass. They've recently changed their dining menu to include buffet only at fifty dollars per person. The selection of food isn't what it used to be (though I will say everything was delicious), and for our group of four people with a couple of beers each, our bill was four-hundred and fifty dollars. A bit steep for an Angels game.
Diamond club far exceeds any Ballparks I have been to!
Very nice experience ! Had early seating and got to watch batting practice. Very friendly atmosphere
Little pricey. Someone has to pay Mike Trout. A wonderful night
Obviously a special occasion, but the buffet is a good value and the food is good. Drinks are good and then, often the baseball is, too.
Janis was amazing. Made the experience special
We were on the patio at table 509 and that’s a great view. We really like that table. Laura was our waitress and she’s wonderful. Wish she could be our server every time!
Angeles Baseball game
Great to be right behind home plate to watch the game. The high top chairs were very difficult to get into and move to the table (for short people). These chairs are very uncomfortable. The food was ok, but very expensive for what you get. However, the experience of being that close to the game pushed my rating to positive.
The quality and the quantity of the food was outstanding!
The service was very friendly and professional.
Service and Food were outstanding. Jessica provided friendly and efficient service during our entire dining experience and we will request her to be our server on our next visit.
Outstanding place to eat, drink and watch high-quality baseball
The service compared to last year is exceptional. The hostesses are awesome. No comparison to the 2017 season. Now if we could get some nicer and happier ladies at the door where they check your tickets before entry this place will be whole. They seem to be getting rider by the event the two older ladies.
It is ridiculous that you expect everyone to eat the buffet. Many pallets do not desire the buffet. We could not see the field from our table and decided not to eat at our reserved table. We went back to our seats and ordered from the hostesses. The food offerrd there is horrible. When sitting in Diamond Club seats one woukd exoect better quality.
We had a great time. Kim was our server. She was very attentive and very personable at just the right time and in just the right amounts. I hope she serves us again next time.
Everybody there(waiters, managers, hostesses)are unbelievably kind, helpful, & very friendly service. I have been attending for 2 years now, & have gotten nothing but the the best. The food is 5-star as well.
They recently changed the menu for it-before when you could get great lobster mac and cheese and filet mignon-you get hot dogs and really bad selections of food. You would think the price would reflect this, nope the price is still high.
You would be better off eating elsewhere before the game-or just getting vendor dogs-it would be cheaper and you arent paying for extra fees for that.
Really sad how much this restaurant has declined-I used to go there all the time before games.
This will be my last visit until the fix the awful menu selections.
The steak was 'ok', but not as good as I expected - the 'frites' were underwhelming.... Garlic
French fries would have been better
Moms Margherita flat bread was doughy and under cooked
The nachos were great!
food is not that good-
buffet overpriced and picked over
Nice view from the patio and the ambiance is nice but the food is definitely not worth the price..
The Diamond Club menu changed this year. Instead of your choice of an entree accompanied by stations featuring salads, sides, and desserts, this season it is just the food stations and no entree. The price is the same and very pricey for what you get. Proteins are offered as tapas style samplings. You cannot see the field from inside the Club so patio seating is the best. The chairs on the patio are bar height and almost impossible to move once you are seated in them. The Diamond Club could be fabulous with a more traditional menu. Service is always attentive and friendly.
