Just a Wednesday night in Chicago!!
Charles Heath Trio was amazing. Great staff and service, as always.
Great to be back to Andy's after so long due to restrictions. Team there doing everything they can to keep everyone safe and still great times with good food & drinks. The band was well and truly on their game and glad to be performing for live guests again. Get out there and support Jazz in Chicago!!!
with all respect to musicians this club deserves better food for sure, amazing tunes still in my ears but not the taste of new york steak in my mouth finally. do not eat anything there, just pay entrance fee and have some drinks. simply enjoy the music
Our daughter loved it!
Highly recommend requesting a seat an unobstructed view. Also highly recommend the Chicken Vesuvio dish - delicious. Salmon was also very good and the short ribs. Had some great desserts as well. And as always the live music is first rate and very enjoyable.
The music was fun and it was good to see them giving young musicians a chance. The staff were very nice. It was a shock to be charged $15 each entry which we didn’t know about and they would only take cash. You don’t go there for the food. Overall expensive for what it was especially when adding in the cover charge.
The music was phenomenal. Food was tasty and not expensive. I wish they would not have told us there was a 2 hour sitting maximum because I felt I had to rush through my meal or end up eating my dessert at the bar. Instead, I would have appreciate being told we would need to go to the bar and vacate the table after our meal was completed . As it turned out, we were able to finish our meal and no one move us though it took a bit over 2 hours
We went for my fiance's birthday..the experience was great..the food was delicious and the music was amazing. Will definitely go back.
Excellent food. Great ambience and Funky Fly Project band was phenomenal
nice atmosphere. good music.
The food and the musicians were incredible! Can't wait to go back!
Great atmosphere! Amazing band! Yummy food! Awesome drinks! I would recommend Andy’s to anyone looking for a night out in Chicago! Book a table in advance so you can have a great view of the band!
Everything was great, service was not so.... Waiter was un attentive, didn’t explain the menu, was our first time... we had to get other servers attention to find ours.... again everything else was great....
Very Nice! Reminder...the cover charge is in cash and have your ID ready.
Food was average. Service was average. The waiter never came to check on us on his own, he was always called to the table.
Amazing venue for jazz in Chicago! Best to make a reservation; it's a popular place!
Very good food and outstanding entertainment. I used to come to Andy's regularly when it was more of just a Jazz club in the 1990's. The music is still fantastic. My 1 complaint is that coming in NOW as a supper club, the overcharge still must be paid at the door with cash. Would like for that to be payable with a card or put on the bill. Also not once, but twice was I told that we can only be at the table for 2 hours. Dinner and drinks is well over $80 per person before the cover charge. Show some class and do not treat people like that.
Great venue to listen to fabulous live jazz music. Good quality food and outstanding servie.
Outstanding music and musicians. Andy’s is a Chicago treasure!
Was good... my husband and I traveled 3 hours for a date at this specific place. Loved it! Food was wonderful !
When we’re in Chicago, we always stop by Andy’s Jazz Club. The music is fabulous. Be sure to check out Pharez Whitted! We had great service and enjoyed our dinner while listening to jazz. What could be better?
Don’t go here for food just go for music
Great music and vibe. Staff was excellent and very accommodating.
This was exactly what I was looking for to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was great, the atmosphere was perfect, and the jazz was awesome. This place is perfect if you want to get great food and enjoy music at the same time, which is what we were looking for. We would definitely come back again.
You made all your policies very clear - the 2-hour table limit and expectations for our time with you. I found your menu to be confusing - website says “price fixe” vs “tasting menu” live. What I ended up with was very inadequate for the price and I should have been warned.
Our server was generally unfriendly. She was also slow to deliver our check while supposedly verifying whether they needed our table. The very snippy maitre’d cane around - still without a check - and basically asked us to leave. I didn’t appreciate that interaction at all since we were proactive to see if our reservation needed to end as communicated.
Music was excellent. Food was ok - definitely not worth the price we paid. Service was even worse. Overall a thumbs down experience.
Boring jazz, poor service, rude management and terrible food. We were incredibly excited to go to Andy´s Jazz club but were left bitterly disappointed! We were told off for talking by Lynn, a long standing manager. We were surrounded by loud tables talking and were there with our teenage children and my 72 year old mother - hardly the table of loud talkers compared to everyone around us. Also it´s a club/restaurant not a theatre venue so people will talk. The food was average, the service poor and the jazz was incredibly boring - I have seen a lot of jazz all over the world and Andy´s was the most boring jazz by far. We won´t be going back!
Great venue for exciting live music. Pherez Whitted group was amazing
Having a teenage marching band filling half of the area was annoying but I suppose unavoidable, but the attitude of the doorman who lectured my 50+ wife, MD of a tech based company, on why she should carry her photo ID at all times or at least leverage technology to do this for her was excruciating - for him. What a fool.
It was very hot in the establishment. Needed to open a couple of doors! There was a $15 cover charge per person which we were unaware of and seemed ridiculous especially since we had a 10 year old with us who also had to pay and the food is EXPENSIVE. Why charge a cover as well? Or make it $5. Bathrooms were clean and food was good. Good selection of beer.
Full of flavor and spice, and the food wasn’t bad either. Great ambiance and food.
Great place for dinner and awesome jazz music
