Andy's Jazz Club
Full of flavor and spice, and the food wasn’t bad either. Great ambiance and food.
Great place for dinner and awesome jazz music
too much drums, no brass. Unfortunately the main focus was the drums. Would go back with other entertainers only.
Had a great time. Great Jazz and a fun evening.
Nice place. Great music.
The man at the front greeting guests/ taking money was extremely rude to my boyfriend and I. He was incredibly condescending and was no help in finding ATM cash for the cover fee.
This was a great place to visit while in Chicago. The food and service was quick. They were staffed to handle a full house. The music was amazing and enhanced the experience.
Great place! Would go back in a heartbeat!
This was a great experience! The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Most definitely the place to be!
Came here for Valentine’s Day and had an amazing time. Such a nice vibe, good drinks at a reasonable price, and service was too notch!! Highly recommend for any date night or special occasion. My wife and I will definitely be back.
Cool place to watch and check out some jazz. Make sure to have cash on you for the cover, we had to run to the 7/11 to get it. Music was really good. Food was ok, but you are going more for the experience of the music.
things were great at Andy's. I had the short ribs which were superb and my wife had the parmesan crusted chicken which was awesome as well. I didn't really appreciate the server or management for not properly handling a serious issue that came up which could have been an detriment if I chose to fo things another way. Other than that I enjoyed the music and atmosphere. when in Chicago go out to Andy's for a great night of music and food.
Great entertainment and meal for Valentines Day.
Good jazz music but weak crowd on a Wed
Fantastic music, food and service!
Loved everything about this place! From the moment I walked in, I felt special and that it was going to be an enjoyable evening. The ambiance was sleek yet cozy. Service was friendly and professional. The food selection was divine. I wanted to order everything on the menu. My filet mignon was cooked medium and to perfection. And then there was the entertainment. The music transported me to the 1920’s! The trio of musicians were talented, soulful; they played their instruments with such skill, grace and passion. Can’t wait to return.
Great food and great music perfect dining atmosphere low key
Me and mrs had a great time the band was great the food was delicious
Very cool vibe
We went to see Thaddeus Tukes perform and he was AMAZING. I will admit I was not expecting a full-on restaurant vibe so we didn’t have too much food (just a few apps and desserts) which were all good. The servers were very attentive. Definitely recommend especially when you can support local musicians.
Very good place
Food was excellent !
The ambiance is amazing !
Great atmosphere, excellent music. The charcuterie tasted like it hadn’t been stored in an airtight container. New York strip was kind of bland and tough. My husbands risotto and Cajun shrimp was very good. braised short rib was also very good.
Always a great place for good friends and great music
Good food, great jazz. Every time I'm in Chicago I make sure to visit. It's great place to hear some of the best jazz performers in one of the greatest jazz cities in the world.
An absolutely great venue with good food, GREAT music and an outstanding server in JR. We can't wait to go back!
Andy's is a great atmosphere, with terrific music and food. Great time with Friends or a work outing.
As a Detroit native, reminded me of a couple well known joints here, but I really enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere, service was good, but the food ordered (crab cake and mac&cheese) was bland, not flavorful at all, and slightly overpriced. The drinks had a decent kick for the price too.
Andy's is always an absolute delight! We had a booth with a perfect view of the stage for our most recent visit. Our server was attentive and friendly, the food and drinks were great, and the ambiance was excellent, as usual. The music was particularly outstanding during our last visit as well! We'll be back as soon as we can. Thanks, Andy's!
Excellent little place! Food was better than expected and music was brilliant. Will be going back next time we visit the city!
Nice place, great music and drinks! Would go again!
The key to the evening was the fantastic jazz played by Matt Muneses’s quintet. But that wonderful jazz creativity was supported incredibly by a quality of dining experience and service that was second to none. We greatly appreciated the person who greeted us asking politely for us to keep our conversations at a low level so as not to distract from the music enjoyment if others. That is a classy thing to do. We will definitely be back to Andy’s and recommend other’s go there too for a great evening of jazz!
First time visiting Andy's Jazz Club! The experience was wonderful!
Great jazz music. Excellent service. The food menu was brief and a bit on the expensive side - but a wonderful experience all together.
We had a wonderful time. Excellent food, service and the music was great too.
We had a wonderful evening on a cold January Tuesday night. It was pretty empty for the second show. My boyfriend and I ordered desert, which was just alright (he had the chocolate cake and I had the tiramisu.) The slices were of good size, but the actual baked goods were nothing to write home about, especially for $10 a slice. I ordered a Manhattan, which tasted watered down and oddly sweet. But you don't come to a place like this for the food or cocktails. The music was excellent. Our night was Angel Spiccia who sang jazz standards with a trio (including her father on piano. That man can PLAY!) Professionally done despite a small crowd, yet still inviting. The volume was spot on. You could hear the music perfectly, yet still speak to your date occasionally and be heard with out raising your voice. It was great date spot with a small cover charge (that we were told goes right to the performers.)
We had a private table table with a great view of the stage and the group was very good.
The level they played at still allowed for conversation, and the atmosphere was most pleasant.
I will plan on returning next time I have plans to visit downtown Chicago. (The only set back
was the greeter at the door - He might need to visit a local Walmart and watch the man at the door.)
Great music. Great Food. Awesome experience. The shrimp cocktail appetizer features 6 huge shrimp. The NY Strip Steaks were cooked perfectly. The carrots on the side were the best I've ever had. And the Tiramisu Wedge dessert was decadent. Overall a great night at Andy's Jazz Club!
Great date night! The bands were amazing and it was a relaxing night.
10$ par personne a l'entrée , aller prendre un entrée ou dessert mais je ne vous recommande pas de souper
I don’t like that they charge admission even if you are dining there. The food/drink is also overpriced. I had the salmon, and it was over cooked but still good. I would just expect better for what it cost. Cocktails were just okay. Worth checking out though if you haven’t before because it is a unique experience, and we had fun.
