   Live band is the reason to go. Intimate space and great music. Drinks and food were ok. Place could be great with better food and drinks. Shrimp risotto and empanadas were good. Other dishes were not. Go for music and appetizers.

   The show was great! A $15 dollar cover to see a great band is a steal. Our food was GREAT! Brussel spouts were roasted but not crispy, short ribs were tender and the margarita was STRONG! Overall it was great, despite the rude tables to our left and behind us who talked the whole time.

    Music was great. We’re locals trying to try “must dos” and Andy’s is on many recommendation lists. A few things to note about the overall experience— the venue is open but you can’t enter until 7:45 for the 8:15 show. Recommend checking if this is the same for other show times. During the intro there is instruction given to limit chatter. On the night we visited this seemed more of a suggestion than a rule. From our rear table the chatter was incredibly distracting. One of the standard tables closer to the stage might be better.

    Andy's is one the best places in Chicago for live jazz. It's an intimate setting - there are no bad seats in the house - and I am more than thrilled that it survived the pandemic, including many familiar staff members, who worked like mad, but could have likely used another set of hands. That being said, the quality of the food has taken a real nosedive since 2020. The menu looks promising, but it tastes all Sysco, and my assumption is that the kitchen is merely re-heated pre-made / frozen entrees, etc. I hope this will change, but in the meantime, book seats at the bar and tip the band generously.

    Always fun - when I was young I'd sit at the bar after work; now my twenty-somethings love it as much as I do and we go as a family. Besides the nostalgia, the service is terrific, the food great, the musicianship is phenomenol for a modest cover.

    Famous Jazz club, touristy, but in a comfortable way - outstanding quality of live music. I didn’t eat, but the dishes looked nice, and my drinks were very good.

    Great place to catch some cool live jazz. The variety of the menu is good some of the items are better than others. The dessert this time wasn’t really fresh. Good cocktails

    Even though we were running late to make our reservation, the club was very accommodating to have us. We truly appreciate that. Once we were there, the music was energetic and beautiful. Food and drinks were amazing. Service was pleasant. We had a great time! Thank you, again for being so gracious!

    terrible food, worst meal i’ve ever eaten honestly. shrimp in the risotto was incredibly salty and the steak was so tough. brussel sprouts were supposed to come out as app but they came with the meal, and they were severely undercooked. I never leave reviews for places but this meal was horrible and expensive. Jazz was great, would rather just drink at the bar. do not come for food.

    Good was good. Service was excellent. Live music was good. Only problem was the bass player was stuck in traffic and only made it for the last 10 minutes of the first set which is what we booked for. Piano and drums by themselves did a great job anyway. I would go back if I have reason to return to Chicago.

    Music was the highlight of the night. The song selections were so good you don't notice the time flying by so quickly. The staff are excellent and the food was amazing. Will come again.
