This is a very expensive restaurant. The least expensive meal was $32. Salads 10 to $14. Drinks pricey also. Sum up the evening the food was very mediocre. I've had better steaks in LongHorn Steakhouse. Our server, Becky was very good however.
Great food and service, our waitress was awesome she didn’t try to rush us out when it became closing time
I always enjoy having dinner at Andrew's . Good food and good atmosphere .
The food was outstanding and the service was second to none.
Unfortunately this visit was not the best representation of Andrews from our previous visits which were always above par. The service left a lot to be desired and the Ribeye was not the standard fare expected of Andrews...had to "ask" for the mint jelly for my lamb should have been SOP to bring it with dinner, sorry guys this visit was not up there to our expectations....the dreadful part is when we got there they were not that at all busy and it still took one and one-half hours to get our meal...we sat and sat and sat........
Had dinner with 11 people for a 21st birthday
Food and drinks were way above average
Waiters were extremely nice and knowledgeable
Excellent service and food. We enjoy the atmosphere and the srrving staff are so attentive.
Everything was amazing! We'll be back again. We enjoyed the steaks.
I have been to Andrews Steakhouse in the Rivers Casino countless times. The food and service is always on point.
But last night, for my wife’s birthday, was the best steak I ever had!!!!! The temperature of the steak was perfect and it a great outer crust on it which was seasoned!!!
There was a group of 6 of us and our waitress Kody has so professional and just made the night perfect!!!
Andrew’s never disappoints, but last night was off the charts!!! Thanks you!!
Dinner started great we were seated early and recieved drinks and bread quickly. However dinners took along time to be brought out and all the foid was over cooked.
Steaks ordered medium were both well done, lobster tail was tough and lacked flavor.
Went there for Valentine's Day dinner. Would NEVER, NEVER return. My filet was overcooked, dry, and had NO taste, zero. I can go to Longhorns and get a much better steak, for much less. Never had a mgr come by the table and check on us. The smoke in the casino is terrible. I was told they spent money for a filtration system to remove the smoke. Doesn't work. A bad night at a high price. One and done. Don
Everything was wonderful from the food the the wait staff. Great place
Great food, as good as Ruths Chris or Mortons and never too busy.
Steaks are second to none - highly recommend the dry aged strip steak it is basically a 14oz filet.
Our reservation was for 7:30 pm and we did not receive our food until 9:15 pm. We checked in early, but apparently had been overlooked by the front desk and needed to ask to be seated. The smoke is also overwhelming from the casino.
My 12oz filet was fantastic. My wife's NY Strip not as good as we thought it should be for the price. The spicy gumbo was superb also
Great steak!! True fine dining, the service is excellent and the food is awesome. You can tell everything is made by pros who really care about taste and presentation.
Our server (Gus) was great, personable and attentive. Our steaks were, as expected, flavorful and well prepared. Order sides, the fingerling potatoes and roasted onions provided, were mostly a garnish.
We met with several business acquaintances. Very good food, my steak was cooked exactly how it was ordered. Service was very good.
Delicious as always with impeccable service! Fabulous wine list!
The occasion was Restaurant week. Food and service were excellent. Very very noisy, hard to have a conversation.
We have never been dissappointed when we visit Andrews, no matter what the occasion. Love this place.
The food and service was amazing! I can’t wait for my next trip to Andrews
Simply one of the best meals I have ever had. I was so impressed when the Chef came to the table and personally asked us how our evening was. I was hosting business clients and they were all so blown away with the food and service. I had the 12 ounce Filet, cooked perfect Medium Rare. The wine list had some real favorites and nicely priced at that. Thank You to the team at Andrew's for making me look good!!
Superior service with great food. Fanatastic place for a celebration or special occasion.
Came here with family for Winter Restaurant Week. It is definitely a nice quiet spot to get away from all the noise of the casino.
The service was excellent and they had a nice selection available for Restaurant Week. The table ordered the salmon tartare as an appetizer, it was spicy but very good. And a good portion size compared to some fine-dining establishments.
From the Restaurant Week menu I ordered the spicy sausage scotch egg, filet with polenta, and chocolate mousse bombe. The scotch egg was not very good. It lacked flavor and there was no spice to it at all. I ordered the filet medium-rare and it was done perfectly and tasted great. The polenta was delicious as well, and I usually am not a fan of it. The chocolate mousse bombe hit the spot with extra sweetness.
Now I will say my husband ordered a dry-aged NY strip off the regular menu and I was surprised when I tried a few bites how tough his steak was, he had ordered medium-rare as well. After we left he even said he debated sending it back to the kitchen but was so hungry he just wanted to eat and not cause a problem.
Andrew's was worth going to with the discount of Restaurant Week, but I don't think it's worth the money in general. I did appreciate the quiet so will definitely make a stop in here for a few drinks when I'm at the casino.
A little disappointed this time. Out of hamburgers and salmon was bearly room temperature.
The food was good and our waiter was great but it was freezing cold and made both of us uncomfortable.
We used to love this place. We had birthday dinners groups here in the past. This last time 2 out of 3 steaks were done incorrectly. A well done steak came med rare and a med rare steak came out med well.
We had a very nice dinner, trying some new dishes. Their crab/cucumber salad, french onion soup and mushroom risotto were very good! The burgers at another table were huge, and friends got them. We opted for walleye and scallop entrees, which were also very good but much smaller than expected (the scallops were described with corn, which we assumed was a side dish, but it was a few kernels on the plate with a sauce). So make sure to ask about the portions. The views are great, not a bad seat. We have recommended to others.
Andrews was accommodating for location view& service. Nice selective dishes served nice & hot, I would recommend.
The Best Steak in Pittsburgh cooked exactly as asked with service to match!
This is the third consecutive year we have gone to Andrew's for dinner on Christmas. We go for Christmas because we know we will get amazing food and extremely attentive service every time we go. On this visit, both the food and service once again exceeded our expectations, which were very high based on our previous experiences at Andrew's.
The only disappointment for us was the ambience. In past years, it really felt festive, like the restaurant was celebrating the holiday with us. We found with this visit that the dining room was not decorated at all for the holidays this year. They had a very minimal special Christmas menu to accompany the regular menu, but this year's Christmas menu had even omitted the special cocktails they used to create for the occasion. The festive atmosphere we appreciated in the past was simply not present this year.
It was a fabulous meal, but the dining experience was one we could have had any evening there. I wish it had been like previous years, when it really felt like we were all celebrating the holiday.
Excellent steaks. Very good seasonal soup. Given quality of other food, wedge salad was really weak and pricey. Sides were very good. Bread was very good with nice variety. Beers were not cold enough. Bottles needed to be chilled longer. Crab cake accompaniment had plenty of crab but much more fishy than a crab cake typically is. Overall still very solid. And again, steaks were superb
steak was excellent, chicken so so. salads could be much better, pasta seafood dry.
Two of the people in my party ordered steak and were v. please with it.
I ordered walleye and was not pleased with it. The fish was overly cooked; so it not moist. Some of the walleye was burnt on the outside which was very disappointing. Normally I love walleye because it's such a good tasting fish, but this walleye did not have good flavor.
The waiter was excellent. The atmosphere was v. nice and quiet. I do think, though, that for Christmas Day there should have been some Christmas songs playing in the background. There wasn't any Christmas atmosphere in the restaurant. Had I known this and because of the disappointing walleye, I would not have selected Andrews for our expensive Christmas dinner.
I would not return to Andrews.
Food was average. Service was basic. Nice atmosphere.
Would not recommend; there are much better restaurants in Pittsburgh for the price. Our waiter had an attitude.
We had a party of six people. Seated on time. Food and service was great. Meal arrived in good time. We were not rushed nor were we delayed.
Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. no options for vegetarians except sides. Very small portions of appetizers. Overall the atmosphere was nice and wait staff very good. A bit pricy.
Me and the guys were in town for the game and after a great game we took a short walk to Andrews for a steak. The steak was well worth it !!
Consistently Very good. Best Burger and Strip in the Burgh.
