Andrea's Ratings and Reviews
The meal was delicious. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. Half of the restaurant was almost empty but they were seating everyone really close to other tables which took away from the experience. When the check came we found two items added that we did not order. They were removed
In our reservation we noted that two guests were vegan, and we were celebrating my father-in-law's birthday. From the moment we sat down, our server was attentive and welcoming. The server explained the food options, and there was an AMAZING selection for vegans (score!). Although this restaurant was a bit upscale, we didn't feel pressured to purchase additional necessary items, or looked down upon for not wanting starters. After ordering, the appropriate silverware was being swapped out and the birthday boy was brought custom wood-burnt chopsticks with his name/messaged inscribed! The meals, both vegan and non, were outstanding. The meal ended with a birthday candle and a cake pop, nice touch and not too filling. I only get to Vegas about once a year, but I certainly will be back!
Super upscale, ridiculously good food, exceptional service and ambiance - all that you would expect from a high profile restaurant at the Wynn property in Las Vegas.
It will be a Vegas staple for me going forward.
If you’re looking for a top of the line dining experience, no question Andrea’s should be on your short list. But if you’re looking for a decent find for a bargain, keep scrolling.
My wife and I were very excited to eat at Andrea's. Things started off well, we were immediately seated, the interior had a nice hip vibe, and great music. The appetizer was delicious, but then the "fun" started. We each ordered a glass of wine to accompany the entrees and soon we heard the manager arrive at the couple next to us and say, "ready to taste some wine?". The couple seemed awestruck. I noticed the lady ordered the same wine as my wife which I thought, hmm. Then the gentlemen was poured the same wine that I had ordered and then it dawned on me, the wine was meant for us. Rather than embarrass the couple which clearly were more interested in posting social media pictures and looking up every dish they considered ordering on yelp, I waited for our waiter to resurface. After several minutes, I discretely waived our waiter to our table and quietly told him I believed the table next to us received our wine. He glanced at their table, apologized, took about 10 steps, reversed course and said to us, “oh, they ordered very similar wine”. That was a complete fabrication because they had not ordered wine, were completely surprised when it arrived, and it wasn’t similar, it was exactly what we had ordered. After another 5-10 minutes he finally returned and began to pour my wife the wine I had ordered, sigh. Now that we had the wine, the entrees arrived and were very average for a restaurant of such a supposed level. We finished the meal with a delicious espresso martini and were presented with the check. After such an ordeal with the wine, one would expect, “I’m sorry for the confusion, we’re taking care of the wine for you”, but no, a quick glance of the check revealed we were charged for the wine AND a glass of scotch. Note I have not mentioned a glass of scotch, once again I discretely summoned the waiter, pointed at the charge, and was told, “oh, my manager must have added that, I’ll have him remove it” … no sincere apology, no visit from the manager, nothing.
This USED to be our favorite restaurant (in the whole world and we travel extensively (globally) and eat out A LOT). It was our “go to” place in Vegas for a night out together. Not any more. First of all I recognize that we dined on Christmas Eve and that could mean distractions, different staff or things not necessarily hitting on all cylinders.
Our service was spotty and inattentive. Our first dishes arrived before our cocktails- but they were ordered at the same time. That should NEVER happen. Our dishes were average but not what we had expected from dining here many times over the last several years. The time between the first two dishes and the entrees was more than 20 mins. The restaurant had more than 7 tables empty at 8.30 pm so I can’t believe that this was a kitchen capacity issue.
Most upsetting to my wife was that the restaurant decided to eliminate her favorite dessert in the whole wide world - a chocolate globe that melts when chocolate was poured on top.
We left saddened and in search for our new favorite place. Andrea’s no longer is it.
The food and dining experience was perfect. We had other plans that evening and they moved us along very quickly. The scene was fun but not so loud that you couldn't talk. It was also a friend's birthday and they had a birthday cake available. It went off without a hitch. The reason I gave the food 4 stars had to do with the fact that the bone-in ribeye we had much more fat than we would expect for a $65 steak.
Overall I would highly recommend Andrea's for your next trip to Vegas!!
My wife and I were looking for something light to eat after a show Andrea's was perfect with different spicy rolls to choose from and excellent cold sake selections. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable .We will come back to Andrea's the next time we are in Vegas.
