Andrea's 25 of Commack Ratings and Reviews
Our first time there. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the sweet potato ravioli and hub had the veal marsala. Both were very delicious and flavorful. The service was very good as well. The restaurant itself could use a face lift but overall I would definitely recommend it for a Saturday date night, birthday or business dinner.
I have to say....Much to my surprise, I was extremely disappointed in my dining experience. I found the prices to be outrageous for the atmosphere and portion size. We were crammed into our table like sardines, which drives me crazy. My food came out so fast and it was not the way I ordered it. The portion was small and it was just ok. Not bad. Not great.
Completely underwhelmed. My mother's desert was not good (tortoni with brown ice cream???) and the milk for our coffee was in a creamer with a dark brown ring inside of it. The manager apologized and took the desert and coffee off of the bill. That was very nice, but I would rather pay for my food and get what I ask for and have it served in clean manner. I won't be back.
Andrea 25 is a local gem. The food is spectacular and the service is equally excellent.
We started with a Burrata special with tomatoes and roasted peppers. The cheese was so creamy and delicious! Our friends had an appetizer of shrimp oreganata which was excellent. All 4 entrees were wonderful: salmon, a special of chicken mona, chicken parm and veal parm.
The staff is wonderful and made the meal very special.
Delicious!! Went for a quick weekday dinner with my wife we shared the special pear salad & baked clams to start. Really enjoyed both, best baked clams we’ve had in years. I had the veal Chop Valdostana which our waiter Miguel suggested, my wife had the salmon special. Veal Chop easily in the top 5 dishes I’ve ever eaten. My wife loved the salmon. We thought we were stuffed & had no room for dessert but Matty the manager dropped off banana bread with the check. Off the charts. Overall phenomenal experience. Service was Just as great as the food. Thank you Matty & Miguel, we will definitely be back!!
Ordered branzino fish, it was so small and thin only had 4 bites and it was gone!
Husband ordered veal Marsala, the sauce tasted like it was out of a can.
Our rice balls were ice cold, another batch was made which was warm. They apologized. Also comped branzino meal. I wanted to leave and they insisted we stay to have dessert and bought us champagne (which was on the house) to celebrate our 36th anniversary. Dessert was awesome!
A fraudulent charge of 278.64 was added to our bill. We gave the restaurant. managers 3 opportunities to fix charge before going to our credit card company . It took me two hours plus one visit to the restaurant to fix the claim I am furious as Paula and Matt now know - I did not receive a call back when told twice I would I will never go back and suggest to everyone who goes there to be careful of the cash you use because someone has sticky fingers.
