I came in from out of town (Texas) for my birthday dinner. When I made reservation, I asked for the balcony dining and was told that was on first come, first serve basis. No idea why, the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived. It’s not like the place was packed and everyone wanted to sit outside. Not sure why the balcony reservations are like this ... it’s just another table. If the restaurant isn’t booked full, just go ahead and take reservations on the balcony tables!

Food is ok. The risotto made table side in the cheese wheel was runny. This is a signature dish. It needs to be spot on. The rabini in the lobster pasta dish was so bitter, almost inedible. Wine and entrees over the top expensive. Good wine selection, but $30+ per glass 5 oz pours is not a great deal anywhere.

Overall service was good, although our primary server was trying waaaay too hard to be funny and frankly came across as a bit too much.

Beautiful restaurant, view, and fine dining experience. Timothy, our waiter showed us exceptional service and guidance in choosing our entire meal. Our bus boy was friendly and engaging as well. Except for forgetting my Ferragamo prescription sunglasses at the restaurant and having to go to the resort twice to finally retrieve them, in the end Hunter saved the day by working with security to double check the hostess station. We will return again as it is a beautiful resort and we are nearby residents.

View was spectacular but that’s about it. I would never come back here. The food was mediocre, would never pay full price for it. I’ve had better Italian food without the snooty staff. The staff were prompt and responsive during the beginning of the meal. But towards the end, I think they forgot us and just served the table next to us. We were waiting for the dessert menu for a good 20-25 minutes. Nobody came back to check on our table for this long. I was never asked if I wanted another glass of my drink but saw they made multiple stop at the table next to us. I don’t think they deserved the minimum 18% gratuity but I left it anyways because of course, they will call me cheap if I didn’t.

What was supposed to be a wonderful night was totally destroyed by a large group who were carryon like they were the only people in the restaurant. They were obviously over served. None of the staff tried to stop the loud yelling from this table until finally i brought it tot the attention of the manager who spoke to them. whatever he said had no effect.
When you spending that much for dinner, management must do a better job at supervising the behavior of their patrons.

Delicious food and amazing service. We got the table side risotto - phenomenal! The flavor was rich and satisfying. Delicious Parmesan cheese. Also had the turbot which was perfectly done. Looking forward to returning soon and trying the gelato.

Very Good Lunch we had on the veranda. Would recommend to request an outdoor table. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable to give us a good experience.
The only suggestion we would offer Andrea is to organize the staff so that they can be more attentive to diners so we would not wait so long for being served water initially and then to pick up our credit card for processing.

I really felt the food was overpriced. I am allergic to Garlic and shell fish and all they could come up with was Steak or Chicken pasta. I chose pasta the chicken was so rubbery that I could not eat it. Pasta was good something I could have fixed at home. Our waitress was excellent but the chef let me down. Our total bill for four was over $500. That's pricey. Especially when our meals were not that good. We will go back to Pelican Grill next time.

Brought my wife to my 1 year anniversary dinner. The vibe was awesome starting with the gorgeous location, awesome live music and the people are great. The vallet parking was complimentary (super nice!), food was good (portions are not big but just right). The fish I ordered was filleted right in front of me and it was pretty cool. Definitely a treat to come here and everything went well, thank you guys!

Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary here was absolutely lovely.
From the moment we checked in with Alissa, our lovely evening began to unfold.
Our view of the Pelican Hills golf course and the sinking sun upon the Pacific alone was breathtaking; the live-classical guitar strumming in the background set the mood of celebration and our meal was deliciously memorable and fun. There is a sweet casualness to this upscale place.
Chris, our waiter, was exceptional, knowing the menu and wine selections.

The quality of the food is Good. But a suggestion to the Manager/Chef! 65 grams of Spaghetti 24 USD (+ tax!) is a "joke" to the customers! A KILO of fresh pasta with the best ingredients costs a maximum of 15 USD! Take an example from Mr. C in LA! This time the service wasn't good! It would be useful to train more some waiters, in particular how to clear the table.

Wish I could have eaten more. My friend and i shared the tableside risotto for two, which was amazing. I wished I could have ordered the Dover Sole too- it looked and smelled delicious. My friend was eyeing the chocolate soufflé, but we so full! Beautiful setting out on the terrace to watch sunset.

Really fantastic restaurant. So good that we went twice on our last trip. The pastas were all fantastic and the service was very good. On our second trip this past week to Andrea, the service slipped a bit between courses and we were waiting quite a while. The server noticed and offered us a glass of wine as an apology. I highly recommend focusing on the pastas as they are clearly handmade and very delicious. Loved it!

We had dinner to celebrate our anniversary, which we have done before. They seemingly had remembered many of our preferences, which made for a delightful experience. The ambience, service and food were all spectacular. The pace of the evening was just right and not rushed at all. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful, professional and practical. We could not be seated outside, but we did receive a table by the window. The yellowtail Crudo appetizer was disappointing. It totally lacked flavor. We have had it here before and it was so good. Not sure what happened on this particular evening. Two in our party had the Osso Bucco entree, which was absolutely delicious. The other 2 had fish entrees which were satisfactory. A celebratory dessert was presented which was a really nice touch and quite scrumptious. We had a lovely evening as service here is always excellent. Thank you!
