Andino's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
First time I ever came here and I absolutely loved it. MJ gave great service and the manager who also peeked in on us in the most non intrusive way was very professional. Chicken Andino and and the antipasto were outstanding. Only negative you may ask? Their bread is just ok nothing special. We will be back!
We I decided to meet at Andinos to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday it was kind of midway point for all of us-we had never been to Providence or Federal Hill .
The wait staff was wonderful. especially Jake - very accommodating to one of our daughters gluten allergy
The food was delicious and the ambience was perfect because we sat outside ion the beautiful patio
We will recommend your restaurant to others and will definitely be back!
I was pleased to be able to make a reservation for Saturday lunch when we were coming to Providence for Waterfire. The restaurant is charming and the service was cheerful and helpful. However, the food was a big disappointment. The clams casino were fine if not spectacular. However, the eggplant rollatini was bland and undercooked. The shrimp scampi with linguine was equally disappointing. While the garlic and lemon flavor was fine, the linguine was overcooked and on the edge of mushy, while the shrimp were badly overcooked and tough.
Given the reviews and trip advisor rating, I expected much more.
What a great restaurant! The food was excellent, and the drinks were excellent as well. Located in the heart of Federal Hill, the restaurants ambiance is very cozy and friendly.
The service? Exceptional! Our waitress, Laura (aka mama) is an absolute love! All the wait staff were extremely friendly and respectful!
Highly recommend Andinos! Caution :Make reservations! It fills up fast!
The food was particularly good and the portions were of a good size. . The tables were a bit close together and it was a rather noisy group directly behind us. I guess it's just luck of the draw. One pet peeve. They charge extra for each soft drink at $2.50 each. I think this is wrong.
Ernie was a GREAT waiter! Very funny, also great attention to detail and service.
The food was really good, we had a party of 6, some opted for the specials and some opted for selections from menu.
I personally had fruits de mar. The sauce was lacking (not enough and also not enough flavor) so basically I was eating shell fish on dry pasta. Was probably the WORST I've had anywhere in RI. However the stuffed Veal steak entree was AMAZING! The mushroom sauce was incredible!
The ambiance was lacking. For a restaurant on the hill with outrageous prices I would expect a classier feel.
It is a VERY small restaurant and very LOUD!
It was ok for a group (as we were), but I would never go here for a romantic dinner for two.
The reviews that I read online indicated that the place was noisy and loud. As such, I requested a "quiet" table for a special occasion. The quietest table was in the bar area near the door. It wasn't too loud, but the atmosphere wasn't exactly what I expect. The main dining area did in fact seem much louder. The food was excellent and priced very reasonably. The service wasn't too good. The waitress was hardly seen, neglected to take away plates, or even come by to see how things were going. I don't think I would rush back as there are plenty of other restaurants in the area. I would consider take out as the food was good.
