Noisy party of 25 took over an area nearby.
Andies is hands down the best place to get hummus and pita in Chicago, with thick layers of olive oil and delicious blends of fresh spices adorning each refreshing serving of dip. Too many great items to list. The service was off the charts. Seems like everyone who works there takes pride in their craft. Looking forward to make ng Andies a part of the starting Chicago restaurant rotation
I had Easter brunch here recently and it's been a while since I visited. The attentive staff and delicious food has been consistent through the years
So much food, so delicious!
Great time and great food as always! can't wait to go back, had some new items on the menu that were fantastic.
The food here is so authentic and delicious.
Great for vegetarians and those seeking gluten-free bread! Delicious!
Wonderful menu. Fish done just right. So much Had to take some home. We tried their Tiramisu which I wouldn't bother with. All else 5.
Everything was perfect. Excellent wine selection. Great food. Spectacular service. We can’t wait to go back.
New year's buffet was not advertised on their website. Paper napkins. However the food was delicious and worth the casual atmosphere
We went to Andies on 12/15/17 for our anniversary. We were seated immediately upon arrival for our 7 PM reservation. Tara was our waitress and she was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. Each course of our meal was timed perfectly. The menu has something for everyone. Our food was delicious, hot, and well-prepared. The portions were very generous. We shared a caramel flan dessert which was awesome. An extra treat was the Christmas decorations, and a group of musicians who played Christmas carols for the diners. We truly enjoyed our visit to Andies and look forward to returning again soon.
Got together with friends and had another delicious meal at Andies. The server was friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
This restaurant knows how to take middle eastern dishes to a delightful level. Tasty, healthy, and an amazing blend of spices. The vegan and vegetarian options are worth giving up animal protein. And, the value is exceptional.
We had a great time and definitely will be back good was tasteful and delicious!
Consistently great food and service. One of my favorite places in the area.
Tara was awesome
We love Andies! We frequent quite often. We have been going to Andies for many years.
The food and service were both really outstanding. Great spot for a nice casual dinner.
This is a terrific local restaurant. Good for relaxed dinner, gathering with friends or larger groups. Menu has something for everyone.
Meat was over-cooked and dry. Bartender was new and no idea what a Gimlet or a Sidecar was and had to follow a recipe, the drink still turned out horrible.
Always like this restaurant. They handled the chaos of the local fair very nicely.
Excellent food and service, good wine selection and stellar service at an affordable price
Had the lamb couscous and it was amazing. Very flavorful and tasty! Will be back soon.
The restaurant needs to update their menu, quality of food, and service to keep up with all the competition in the neighborhood. Experience was fair at best.
A gem in Andersonville, Andies never disappoints. We needed to have vegetarian, no-egg food options for my friend's mom. We found lots of choices here. And still there were great non- veg options for the rest of us. The service is always friendly.
Wonderful staff and great place for nice evening
First time at Andies on 1-18-17 and I was very pleasantly surprised. My 2 companions and I decided to eat off the appetizer menu and found everything to be delicious. The baba ganoush is smoother than what I am used to but with great flavor. The fried calamari was about the best I've had and even after 10 minutes or so being on the table, it remained nice and crispy. The saganaki was flamed and had a nice crust, we ate it on the pita triangles that were complimentary to the table. We also had the feta and olives and ordered a risotto dish to share. Wednesday was 1/2 price off glasses of wine, which was a nice surprise and one diner had a pomegranate sangria which was very good. I am looking forward to the next time I can dine at Andies. We also had a very sweet and friendly server, Aysha.
This is more like a tourist destination than a dining experience. There are way too many things on the menu -- a little of this, a little of that. The meat dishes taste like everything was frozen and thawed out. The crab cakes do not have the faintest taste of crab -- lots of breading. The safest bet is to order vegetarian. That food will seem the freshest, but not particularly identifiably anything. Tastes are a poorly-blended hodge podge of random influences . As if a mad scientist got loose with the spice drawer.
Quality food, excellent service, reasonable price . . . what more could you want in a nice, casual neighborhood place.
Excellent service, warm ambiance, and cuisine that is healthy, tasty, and presented beautifully.
The prices reflected on the bill are different than the ones on the menu. Have been here before, on the past did not pay attention. I think this should not be happening.
This was my first visit to Andies. The food was outstanding ( I had the filet mignon kabob) and the portions were huge. Our server was always on top of taking care of us. And when we were done, the manager or owner (i'm not sure) came by to make sure everything went well with dinner. That was a nice touch. I'll definitely go back.
Our party of 4 included a very picky eater. She likes everything plain. Our server caught on quickly and made her feel right at home. It was as good an experience as possible with her! The food was very good as well!! We'll be back!
Our service was extremely slow which wasn't a huge problem since we weren't in a hurry but it was a little frustrating to always be waiting. On the other hand, when we were deciding between eating indoors or outdoors, they offered to open the doors next to an indoor table so we had the best of both worlds.
Fantastic experience! Wonderful accommodating service!
Food was absolutely delicious and the server was really nice and helpful.
Restaurant is very accommodating for everyone. Restaurant is very communicative as we had lunch during mid-summer fest street fest. Wish the doors were closed as it was hot in the restaurant.
This was our second time at Andies and we again loved the food and the service. Well worth paying to park to eat here. We come from the suburbs when we have an outing in Chicago to attend. It is the perfect opportunity to get really good Mediterranean/Greek food. I had the spinach and mushroom crepes and my husband had the NEW moussaka with meat. We also enjoyed a wine flight of delicious fruity white wines. The food is perfectly spiced/seasoned and nicely presented. Portions are large and the prices are very reasonable.
The staff is very friendly and cordial and attentative - attractive and pleasant atmosphere.
Loved the food! We ordered the dip sampler as an app; it was delicious! The humus and babaganoush were good; the red harissa dip was amazing!! As mains we had the Tunisian seafood tagine and trio of kabobs; both were excellent!!
Our server Derrick was very attentive without being overbearing; great!
Overall; really good experience. Thx; we will be back when we're in the area.
