Great food. Great service.
Just the best Italian food in Austin.
We always enjoy Andiamo. The server knows us and is always helpful and friendly. The food is great. The specials and the seasonal menu changes keep it interesting.
A lovely experience with excellent real Italian food!
After all the excellent reviews, I was excited to try this place. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The bread wasn't even warm and didn't have much flavor. I ordered Veal Scallopini and it did not come with pasta or any side. My friend ordered the fish special and it was tough and fishy and also did not come with a side. The place is also very old and needs updating. Way overpriced for what it is.
We had a very nice dinner. The food was excellent and the servers pleasant.
Forgot to serve our appetizer. Never checked on satisfaction of our meal. In fact, waiter disappeared through entire meal. Request for item during meal was completely ignored. The worst service we've ever encountered in any restaurant in Austin. Ultimately the entire meal was comped but only after argumentative encounter.
Easily the best, most authentic Italian cuisine in Austin. Great service from Fabio.
After we sat down the server came in late. Didn't check up on us during the meal. Asked for bread and got charged 5 bucks extra at the end. I mean on a bill of 77 bucks the restaurant couldn't give extra bread for free. Not going there again. Yes the food was tasty but small portion size.
The decor makes you feel like you are in Italy and the makes you believe you are! Fantastic meal. Definitely going back.
Food is excellent. One of very few authentic Italian food restaurants in Austin. Party of 4 with 4 different dishes. All of them delicious: Seafood pasta, mushroom ravioli, carbonara, lamb chops. Service could not be beat.
Andiamo is the absolute best! The food is exquisite and Fabio is such a wonderful waiter. 💚
Excellent food, excellent wine, excellent service-all the time. For the sophisticated diner who appreciates an eating place where one can dine free of annoyingly loud talkers and annoyingly loud music.
I guess the winter menu is just not for us.
We’ve been there several times in the past and have had very goodmeals
Simply put, Andiamo is one of the few legit Italian restaurants in town.
Our meal was excellent.
We have been enjoying the restaurant for years. It never disappoints. Excellent, fresh dining selections, very friendly and accommodating staff, and charming, intimate ambience.
Andiamo never fails to please. Great food!
Sister in law birthday. Great time. Wonderful food, pleasant environment and truly thoughtful and professional staff. A true Austin gem!
Excellent Italian dishes!! Great attentive but not overbearing service!
I had really high hopes for this place. Seafood and lamb over cooked and the meal\experience just really lacked any wow factor for all guests, none of which are too critical.
Loved the meal, reminded me of a trip to Venice when I got lost and ended up in an alley way in a Zagat rated restaurant by chance. Best ever. Fabio was our waiter and service was the best. We highly recommend!
The food is wonderful, as good as anyone finds in Venice or Florence. Service is exceptional. And, unlike most fine dining establishments in Austin, parking is spacious and free.
Andiamo is perfect for a romantic meal or dinner with another couple. My branzino was cooked perfectly, and the other members of our picky foursome were equally pleased with their chicken and seafood choices. The soup of the day is invariably delicious.
We really enjoyed our meal. They had amazing service and it was delicious. Great for a date night.
We came here on a recommendation. The food was very good but I think they must have been short staffed. We sat for about 15 minutes before we were offered a cocktail. Service was very slow and the food was very expensive for what you got. My husband had a seafood risotto which was well over $30 and had very little sea food in it.
Andiamo is a favorite restaurant...the service was excellent and the food, delicious.
This was our first time dining at Andiamo, although we had been told how wonderful the food is...I am already looking forward to returning! We were with special friends, and it's always a good thing when a restaurant you suggest proves to be a great experience for all involved. It is quite the drive from where we live, so I'm happy to report we were not disappointed and will be dining at Andiamo again!
We celebrated our anniversary. It was a great evening. Great food, service and ambiance. Love this restaurant.
The best and most authentic Italian food in the city. Parking is always easy. Fabio is the finest server one could want.
We go back to Andiamo a few times a year. This time, the service was noticeably lacking. Our waiter was a low-energy guy who was inattentive. We were not offered a wine list when seated, and had to wait a while to ask for one and for everything else. The food was reliably good, except our burrata appetizer we ordered for the table (along with calamari) was served with one little bruschetta piece. I asked the waiter to bring 3 more pieces of toast (duh), which he did, but it took awhile. This should have been plated differently; the cheese was a generous amount to share with a party of 4, especially with 2 appetizers ordered, but made no sense with one piece of bread to serve it on. Pumpkin ravioli was delicious, as usual...one of my favorites. We asked for Sambuca to end the meal, and were told they no longer offer it. It used to be served complimentary at the end of the meal. Overall, a bit disappointing compared to previous visits, but the bread is probably enough to make us go back. I do think the service level needs improvement. Some training and higher expectations for professionalism are needed to maintain the reputation. We were told the owner is not around much any more, whereas we used to see her regularly seeing to the running of the restaurant and the guests' experience. Maybe she needs to be more present, or find a manager who can elevate the experience to its former level.
A great place to enjoy a relaxed dinner. Easy to hold a conversation. Food is always amazing!
Simply some of the best food we've ever eaten. All four guest absolutely loved their dishes. And service was stellar!
My husband and I like to get a few date nights in a month. We had heard of Andiamo from a number of friends, and finally decided to try it. With Italian roots, I've been looking for a delicious authentic Italian restaurants since I moved to the Austin area 5 years ago, and tonight--we certainly found it. From the quiet ambiance to the hard-to-decide menu, everything was fantastic. Their seasonal menu is a a great addition as well. I had the Pumpkin Ravioli, which was filled with flavor, and my husband had the Carbonara, which he thoroughly enjoyed! We decided to take advantage of the fall menu, and come back for items that will (hopefully) be on the menu year round!
This might be our new-found anniversary/splurge restaurant!
Loverly evening, wonderful food. Renato the waiter was amazing. Will definite go back.
Great food and not standard fare at all for Italian restaurants
Great service by Fabio and Host , who took time to explain menu and wines
Reasonable for value received but Special occasions only for me due to price
We have been going to Andiamo for many years, and it continues to be one of our favorite places to dine in Austin. The menu changes with each season, so there's always something different to try. This is not an American-style Italian place with checked tablecloths and lots of red sauces. Andiamo is fine dining with dishes you will find in Italy. The food is excellent, and the servers are friendly and professional.
Truly authentic Italian cuisine, courteous and knowledgeable staff and parking is a breeze. If I lived nearby I would dine there every day. Everything is delicious.
We met some friends there for dinner. Dinner was wonderful - perfect sizes - not too much! Break is amazing too. I might recommend a salad before dinner also!
We enjoyed a great quiet evening there with friends. I had the Lucy Johnson pasta, my husband had the veal scallopini which he said was too salty but the others reported their pasta was very good.
The absolute most overrated restaurant in Austin. The lobster in the tautes "summer special# was stringy, pasta was sad and from a box. Will not go again.
