Hidden gem. The restaurant is located in the Hilton. It was busy spring break most places you need a reservation so I started looking. We arrived a little late but were seated and served very quick. They did have issues with the kids meals but they made it right! Thanks for a good meal. Only thing they should have a way to validate parking!
The food was delicious and the waiter was charming and attentive. The restaurant was located in the Hilton Hotel on Hotel Plaza Blvd. in Disney. The only negative was the self-parking on the hotel premise. When we drove into the lot the gate was up and there were no tickets being dispensed. So we parked and had a very nice dinner. After dinner we could not exit the parking lot because the gate was down and we had no ticket. The valet person said we had to pay $23.00 and that the restaurant is not part of the ticket validation program. We were never told this and there were no signs posted clearly with the rates. Finally we spoke to a manager who assisted us and waived the parking fee so we could leave.
This place was terrible. Our server was very sweet but everything was soo slow. We were there for over two hours and we just order appetizers and mains. The restaurant was not at all crowded. The food was just not good. I would not return to this restaurant again.
We enjoyed the meal we had and our waiter was very good. He made sure our needs were met.
We found this restaurant on open table. Quite honestly was our worst dining experience ever. Service was beyond awful. As an example, we waited more than 30 minutes for our bill. According to our parking ticket, we were there 91 minutes and had to pay $19 for parking. We asked the hotels front desk about this and we were treated extremely rude by them too.
There are many nice restaurants in this area... please don’t put up with this place and find an alternate. Literally everything about this ruined our families night.
And food was awful!!
Early dinner at Andiamo was fantastic! The food was so yummy, I was sorry that I didn't take any left overs to my hotel. I had short ribs over papadelle and my husband had snapper over capellini. Delicious! If you're in the area of the Disney Hilton, I highly recommend stopping in for dinner. You won't be disappointed. ( Just know that valet parking will not be validated, no matter what your attendant says. )
Slow service, though attempt to speed up. Food was was edible.
Loud if the room is full . We sit outside often
Andiamo was a mixed bag. I expected a quiet restful atmosphere, but there were children running around like they were in a playground in what was a very nice atmosphere for fine dining otherwise. Neither the parents nor the staff seemed to mind, but it lessened our dining experience. The server was very nice, but she disappeared for long periods of time. The food was also a mixed bag. My braised beef was excellent - very tender with a very good reduction that had small bits of carrots and other vegetables. However, my wife's New York Strip, was the high end of moderately priced was terrible. It was very dry and tough. So overall, I cannot give Andiamo more than 3 stars.
I was overcharged $8 for my table’s 2 glasses of wine which were shown on menu as $12 per glass but charged $16 per glass. When I tried to come back and show my receipt the restaurant was closed. Feel sad as it was an expensive meal and I’d Tipped well.
We came to Andiamo for Thanksgiving when we were in town. We were a party of 7 and they fit us in. I am gluten free and they were very accomodating. They baked me gluten free bread and had gluten free noodles as well. We were all very pleased with our meals!
Service was very good but food was low quality. I ordered a brick oven pizza that I was convinced was from the grocery freezer aisle. Bread was not fresh. Pesto tasted like tart lemon. Wine was 15-20 a glass for a 8.99 bottle in the store, and be assured that the ambiance didn’t make up for the mark up. Staff was constantly rearranging tables and chairs. Man next to us had to fold a piece of cardboard and put it under his table to balance it and keep it from rocking back and fourth. Sad experience for a 100$+ meal.
Andiamo is located within the Hilton. Though this is an Italian restaurant, there is not much of the origin noticeble (music, painting). We were offered the table most near to the entrance. Not so cosy and in the middle of the cold breeze because of repeatedly opened doors to the outside. Our host did her utmost to make us comfortable. The salad was not great. The turkey (thanksgiving menu) and our desert were Fantastic. No, next time I would prefer more Italian like atmosphere.
My husband had the rib eye it was perfectly done my husband is very picky! Great job to the chef! I had lasagna it was was also great. Service was very good attentive but not intrusive the whole experience was pleasurable! I will go back and I recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for a great Italian meal!
The server Danielle was not attentive, promised to bring us bread which she never did. When we inquired she stated “they just put some in the oven, it will be just a few minutes”. It still never came, we inquired again near the end of our meal and she answered “ Oh when it came out of the oven it was hard.” Seriously? I was taken aback at this ridiculous answer. If that were truly the case she might have told us sooner without us asking again. Other patrons had received theirs, so it was obvious she had just continued to forget us. Food was overpriced, salad not included with entree ( or bread either for us). It would be much better to go outside the hotel for dinner!
My family and I visited Andiamo for magical dining with friends who were in town escaping hurricane Florence. Unfortunately, given our experience I won't be returning.
We sat down for dinner at 6:30 and didn't leave until almost 9:30. The server took our orders fairly quickly. However, it essentially took an hour for each course to come out. Some of the food wasn't cooked properly, some of us weren't hungry anymore because it took so long and the majority of our dinner experience our server was nowhere to be found.
For a party of 7, it's not a cheap tab. $300 can go a long ways and watching that go towards food that was either cooked to the wrong temperature or unable to be eaten because we had to wait so long that some weren't hungry anymore, is really unfortunate. I'm not one to ask for free things, but a simple genuine apology can go a long way and we weren't even given that.
Sadly, I know it wasn't just our table, because unfortunately another table not to far from us were extremely vocal about their same frustrations.
We went for my husbands birthday with a group. The whole place maybe had five people, so it was not busy. We ordered drinks that never came. It took over an hour for our food and when it came, it was really bad. I took one bite of my steak and that was it. The server asked if I wanted a box and I declined. Instead of asking if everything was ok or if she could get me something else, she just picked it up and said ok. My daughter did not eat any of hers either. I paid full price for drinks I did not get and food that we did not eat. Really disappointed
Trying out new restaurants for Magical Dining Month and came across Andiamo’s. We had a 5:30 reservation and was seated promptly(this was the only time for the evening anything was quick).
The food was very very good, however the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced, which ruined the dining experience. Upon finishing dinner and asking for the check, which took 20 minutes
to get to the table and a request to see the manager, we were told the system was down.
Oh and I forgot to mention that the whole time we were there if there was a total of 5 tables occupied at any giving time, would be an understatement. I think what was most baffling is this restaurant is located in a nationally known hotel chain.
We finally left at 8pm and was finally glad to walk away
Although the server was nice and very attentive the food was not worth the price. Did not seem fresh, Lasagna and other pasta tasted as reheated. Will not repeat visit and would advise others to skip.
Good food. Great lasagna, good service. Great atmosphere and location.
Scallop App was great but that is where it ended, Ordered the ribeye RARE came out well done, sent back and server assured that the chef himself would recook it and bring it out himself... LOL embarrassment at best was med-med well. received the check and the steak was taken off (yea first right thing... oh but wait) bottle of wine on wine list $45 on bill was $52. someone should really think management ?????? or lack of
Great food, great service. Our waitress Julia was friendly and fun! She made the experience great!
Everything was excellent and you must try the scallop appetizer.
Very nice waitress! Food was great!
Andiamo is an Italian restaurant located just outside Disney Springs in the Hilton Hotel. The place was nicely decorated and our dinners were very good. Coming from the Northeast we hold American-Italian food to high standard, as evidenced by my Sicilian-American mom proclaiming after her second bite of lasagna, “This pasta is homemade!” The restaurant had maybe five other tables the Wednesday evening we were there, which was also a nice change from everywhere else we’d been that week.
If you want to avoid the Disney crowd and are staying at the Hilton, a perfectly ok stop for a decent meal.
We had Easter dinner here. Overall it was decent but that’s it. Place was empty when we first got there at 7:00. Made me a little nervous since most places in Disney are packed.
1. Heavy pour for tequila shot to start was very nice.
2. Staff was very pleasant and nice.
3. Appetizers were above average. Calamari and Shrimp app was good. Bruschetta was pretty decent too.
4. They took several items off the bill because of one incident.
1. Glass dropped on table and cut my sons head. He was bleeding and needed to be cleaned up. An accident but sucked to start off the dinner.
2. Apps came out fast but a very long wait for the entrees. About 1 hour from apps hitting table.
3. Entrees were below average. My chicken Parm dinner was dried out. The sauce had a strange sweet taste also. I ate less then 1/2.
4. Didn’t try other entrees but several members of my party did not like their entrees.
The weak entrees alone would make me try another place. Could have just been an off night.
Worst experience we've had in awhile. Started out with a server who basically deserted us to wait on a large table. Needless to say, they were seated after us and ate before us.
great food & a very nice server!
The food was excellent and the atmosphere quiet and inviting. Best of all was our waitress Julie. She was great at recommending entries and wines to pair with them. She knew most of the songs and artists playing in the background and had a playful yet still professional demeanor. She made our dining experience lots of fun.
Scheduled a business dinner in the hotel for convenience but was disappointed. Was wondering why there were only three tables populated. The service was friendly but slow and the food was mediocre. The wine list was decent. Next time, we'll take the trouble to get off the property for dinner.
I should have known it was going to be a problem when we showed up at 7pm and the restaurant was empty. While we had a table for 12, when we ate, there were only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant. Despite that, the services was extremely slow. Cocktails took forever to come from the bar, and we rarely saw our server. The calamari was extremely overcooked. The entrees were simply bland. Chicken piccata had no flavor, the exception being the capers. Overall, the entire meal felt like it was reheated frozen food.
Poor service and bad food resulted in a subpar (to say the least) dining experience for my colleagues. Do better, Andiamo.
The service was excellent!
Zero atmosphere with no music. Felt like a dining hall or cafeteria. Average food for high price. Left waiting for several minutes for a table
Tons of food and great service. The caprese salad was more than enough for two and we didn't get even halfway through our meals...so much food!
It’s nice nothing fancy, food was good we enjoy it.
Service was impracticable, very friendly and respectful.
Service was awful, never got grated cheese until we were finished eating, drinks took forever, bartender was yelling at other staff members, she messed up the drinks several times
Long wait for table And food, place was not half full, understaffed
Line up waiting for host to arrive & seat guests - restaurant was not busy, waitress was very good but the food was not. Cafeteria like atmosphere- not that of an Italian restaurant.
