Daniel, our servicer, is excellent! He has knowledge of the menu and how the entrees are prepared. His honesty is genuine and he has a vast knowledge of Big Sky including restaurants, sites to visit, and Montana culture.
Amazing service and food. Great with allergies as well.
Absolutely wonderful experience. The food was awesome especially the beet salad. Can’t wait to go back.
This was the third year we chose to eat here and had two great meals prior. I’m not sure what changed but all four meals this time were not to the same level as years past. I had to return my ravioli for being under cooked. The flavors were not as good. For the price point they did not meet the expectation and desire to return next year.
Very disappointing experience. Terrible food, obnoxious server, tacky decor. When dining at Big Sky, get off the mountain village and go down to the meadows to one of the private restaurants. The resort offerings are not great.
Food and service were outstanding. Best restaurant in big sky resort
Liked the ambiance, and the soup and salad were both great. Our waiter couldn't stop looking at himself in the mirror above our table, which was distracting for all of us. The entrees were awful: cold pasta in the Fruitte de Mer, chewy, inedible veal in the veal special (and that came cold as well). Would not go back.
Calamari was delicious with added tempura vegetables. Spaghetti and meat balls really good. Nice bar and great atmosphere. Pizza to go only, but really good. A great way to end a ski vacation at big sky.
Excellent and creative Italian food. Service was outstanding. The wine steward Quinn was very helpful and picked out a very nice Italian wine for us at an extremely reasonable price.
On ski trip and made last minute reservation
so dinner was early. Enjoyed our waitvperson Casey. She was very friendly and thanked us for making her first table of the evening so fun. Food was good and delivered hot. Size of servings was about right for all. They have dishes that should appeal the a variety of rates
Very limited choice of entrees though taste of dishes was good. Service could be a bit friendlier. Overall a reasonable place for dinner.
Great place. Amazon service. I had a sour beer that was really good too. Also, ordered pizza to go that was on point.
We were told by Open Table that the only available reservation was 5 pm, so we took it and arrived at 5 pm to find a restaurant that was virtually empty until 6 pm.
The beet salad was made with beets which were apparently totally uncooked and had a very unpleasant, bitter taste. The calamari/fried vegetables were both great and undercooked.
JD the bartender was awesome as we ate at the bar. The wine was good. The calamari was ok but a little flavorless despite the tempura type batter. The spaghetti was ok. Maybe because I live near Philadelphia I am used to really good Italian food. It's a pretty restaurant with nice people
The service was friendly, helpful, and good. The food was disappointing and pricey. Overall not worth the cost.
Daniel is the very best server in town! He was so helpful with our meal choices and helping us with advice for our stay for the week. He went above and beyond. Of all of our meals this week he was the most top notch server. Hold on to him he made our experience!!
Great spot on the mountain for Italian food! Fantastic cannoli dessert!
Cindy was our server, the food was good, but the service was excellent!! Will definitely be back!
Surprisingly great food for a small town ski resort! Service was excellent and the sommelier was knowledgeable and so kind. Nice relaxing dinner after a long day on the slopes.
Venison came out raw, pasta over cooked, steak over done
Very accommodating regarding reservation time change when we were running late. Gorgonzola a little overwhelming on penne pasta dish. Beet salad was excellent. Carrot pasta with ricotta was good. Meatballs were average. Quality was good but on the expensive side.
Pretty good considering the limited dining options at the Big Sky resort. Took the family and everyone found something they liked. Service was solid but given how slow it was when we went it did seem a few times we were looking for our server.
The food and service were wonderful, and they have numerous gluten free options, including, we were told, GF pasta! (The pistachio risotto is delicious!) A bit loud in the restaurant during dinner, but the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. Had the roast boar special on one recent visit - absolutely wonderful!
Service was great. The food very tasty— lamb shank braised was incredible. The $44 price tag a bit steep, however.
Calamari was good. The Caprese salad with bursts cheese was wonderful.
Our server Daniel was great and his recommendations were very good. The carpaccio was the best and most generous portion we’ve had. Bread was warm and crusty served with excellent herbed butter. Both pasta dishes were great and chocolate desert very rich. Chianti recommended by sommelier paired well with all.
The food is delicious. The side rooms are the place to eat with friends or loved one. However, the red and black decor of the bar is over the top!
The ravioli had great taste, the spaghetti and meatballs were good, but some of our food was not hot so we had to send it back to be heated up. The plates were cold - heating the plates would help a lot. The waitress was very good. They did not call me back after I left a message on their answering machine to get reservations, so I had to book online.
This was our third visit to Andiamo's and we have never been disappointed. The food, wine and service is always very good.
This was our second year eating at Andiamo restaurant. Loved the Manicotti and Carne di Cervo plates. Awesome dining experience.
A great New Year's Eve dinner! Perfect wine recommendation and great food and service. We have been coming here for the last 6 years and still love it.
We’ve been enjoying Andiamo more each visit. The service is probably best on the mountain. We always get the caprese salad, the cheese is outstanding, and the sausage is out of this world. We have a favorite server and send as many people as we can to the restaurant. This season Andiamo is open for lunch which is probably a great idea. I tried the pizza for the first time and it was pretty good. Can’t wait to go back!
This is a beautiful restaurant in an epic setting. While the staff is nice- the food has little taste. Everyone left feeling kind of let down on our last night. If we come back- I'd try lizza at lunch, but not spending that $ for dinner.
Great location for those staying on the mountain. Service was good and atmosphere was quite pleasant. Best part of dinner was dessert—Nice choices and all were good. Caesar salad was bland, lacking flavor. Entrees came out Luke warm.
I have tried and tried at this restaurant as it is very conveniently located and the ambiance is nice but every single time at least one person in our party has had a very subpar meal. Unfortunately, our most recent experience once again reinforced previous experiences. Two of the five meals were absolutely flavorless. How can you make anything with elk meat flavorless? The service was also below average. They make pizzas for take-out at the same restaurant. Our 12-year old asked for some sausage on the cheese pizza offered on the kid menu. The answer from our waiter was "not happening." We asked for pepperoni which she stated was possible but really wasn't, as cheese pizza was what was delivered. When asked, she brought a dish with a few cold pieces of pepperoni to put on the pizza. In an Italian restaurant? I will no longer go to this restaurant no matter how hungry I may be at the Big Sky Resort. By the way, I go there often.
Firstly, the decor is frightening, and not relaxing. The red lighting in the rafters gave off an amusement park vibe. The heavy red decor with other dark colors felt like dining in a dungeon of sorts.
Once seated and in awe of the bewildering decor, we ordered our food. We ordered the elk manicotti for starters bc the group was interested in the entree. I’ll describe it as an Italian burrito with very chewy and rubbery elk. Very disappointing for the price point of Andiamos.
I ordered a vegetarian entree, that i can only described as plastic-y orange colored pinwheels served on a lukewarm bed of tomato sauce. It was very confusing. I did not take a second bite.
As long time comers to big sky, sorry to say we will no longer dine at Adiamos. We hope they can sort out that tacky decor and wild card menu.
We had a nice dinner at Andiamo. Ceaser salads were liked by my two sons and the scallop app was also good. The lamb was excellent as was the vegetarian eggplant entre. Our server was very good and he knew the wine list well. We consistently have a nice meal here. The only issue is that it’s a little loud.
I was disappointed in the seating arrangement. I had booked through Open Table in October for our Christmas night dinner. I knew the place would be busy for that evening. The restaurant doesn't open back up until Dec. 14th. I even confirmed my reservation 3 days prior to arriving in Big Sky. We were promptly seated at 2 high top tables pushed together in the bar area. It was very loud. This was Christmas night! I booked this in October, why didn't I get a table out of the way in a corner! Steve told me I BOOKED the tables! NOT!!! I booked a reservation! Steve did try to console me. He gave me a free bottle of wine and 25% of the bill. That was very nice. Not really sure who to blame, Open Table or the Host. We have an Andiamo near us in Ponte Vedre, FL. I have had a ladies luncheon there twice. That is why I picked having our Christmas dinner at Andiamo while staying at Big Sky.
Good food, great service, friendly. Good wine selection and great deserts.
Our Christmas Eve dinner was delightful and memorable. Thank you!
Four of us ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which tasted very Blan. The meatballs were good but the sauce was very tasteless. And very expensive for spaghetti and meatballs. I had the Special. when it came out it look like a plate of red brains! Plus tasted awful! I sent it back and they gave me meatballs in exchange because I knew those were good. They still made us pay for my dinner which I thought was ridiculous. My husband had the new Zealand steak where tasted tough. Overall Everyone in our party Had a pretty tasteless mesl but with a hefty price. The cost was $300 for six bad Meals. I was very excited to take my sister and her family to this restaurant because we ate here two years ago and it was delicious. I have no idea what happened Sunday night but it had to of been the chef. I don’t know but I will not go back.
