Andiamo Bellevue Ratings and Reviews
Food was delicious. Service good, although waiter quoted one price for the special, and when the bill came, it was more. He blamed it on his boss and the computer and changed it. I specifically asked when he described the specials how much it was, so I would know what to expect on my bill. I think that is not acceptable. I don't like to find computer (?) errors. It should not be my responsibility to make sure they are charging correctly. It puts me in an awkward position.
We liked the services. The waiters are very friendly and courteous. However we are disappointed with the foods, given its 4.5 rating. The bread was good and warm. The portion of the dishes are good, but the pastas are over cooked and very soft. No at dente whatsoever. Two of the pastas were too salty too.
Went for a lovely romantic dinner. The food was wonderful. Our waiter was quite knowledgeable but, sadly, completely lacking in energy and personality. We got the sense he really didn't want to be at work. This was the only negative in an otherwise great evening.
We visited family and friends this past weekend, and had a terrific meal including some personal favorite Italian dishes. The veal Parmesan was excellent as were the cannelloni and spaghetti a la carbonara. We also enjoyed a very reasonably priced Italian red blend wine, and the service was spot on . Try Andiamo next time you want some exceptional Italian cuisine. Li si mangia bene!
We were visiting someone in Bellevue and we were looking for an Italian restaurant. We read reviews and went. We were warmly greeted in a relaxing atmosphere and had veal piccata. It was excellent! The waiter was attentive and friendly and they modified the meal to our request. The wine list was also extensive. We loved it so much that we went back the next week.
Consistently good food at a reasonable price. Only real negative is that entrance from parking takes you past rather aromatic garbage cans in the garage, not exactly setting the proper mood for a nice dinner. Some of the best carbonara you can find. The putanesca is also really good although this last time the chef omitted the red peppers so it was not "the hot one". Still really tasty and not a bad option if you are not a "chili head".
This is simply the best Italian restaurant in Bellevue. Its got a great small atmosphere, the food is incredible, the drinks are large and cheap. The wine list is perfection. We have been going here for years and we love it for any and all occasions. If you have never tried it, I guarantee you, you wont be disappointed.
I am a marsala snob, and I was duly impressed by Andiamo Bellevue's take on this age old chicken dish. The waiter was friendly and helpful, the food fresh, and the ambience cozy and elegantly understated. It is my first visit to the Seattle area, but I would return to Bellevue for another evening at this restaurant. Top drawer at a generally reasonable price.
Andiamo consistently delivers a high quality dining experience.
If there was an option to provide an additional star for service, I would. It's always so gracious.
If they'd only fix the air-lock issue that makes your ears pop each time the front door opens...sigh.
I go to Andiamo once a month as a tradition with my wife for the last year, For the last 3 visits, i am very disappointed about the food and how it tastes... Last 2 visits: Over over cooked dry steak (i ve ordered medium well), uncooked salmon and a very bad tasting lasagna for this time.
I dont know what is happening in kitchen but this is not what you expect from kitchen. They have very nice and welcoming servers. I also love Amarone Zenato wine.... Very nice...
We had dinner here on a Monday night and it was very quiet, only a few other people in the restaurant. Service was nice and attentive, the Pear Gorgonzola Ravioli was very tasty. My husband had the Pasta Primavera and enjoyed that as well. It was a good place to talk business as it was quiet.
The food was very good. However the service and the server is not friendly and acts indifferent. This is not the first time we've experienced that but we gave them the benefit of doubt.
Last night was annoying to have our server (Ricky) act indifferent and not welcoming. We even noticed a party of five or six get up and leave and expressed on the way out that they weren't happy with service.
There was only one other table occupied when we arrived. when our friends arrived, the service was awful. We had little attention of the waiter. The eggplant Parmesan was a very small portion for the price and was not hot. I must say that the tirimisu was fabulous.
We had a nice birthday dinner. Two years ago we discovered this neighbourhood restaurant when staying in Bellevue. We were looking forward to going again . There were a few things that kept us from giving this restaurant a full five star rating but overall we had a nice dinner out.
Mediocre. We were the only people in the restaurant for this early lunch, yet service was slow and sad. The prix-fixe meal then (for Restaurant Week) was dull--not inventive, not very well executed, etc. Ordinary and therefore not worth the spend. Bypass this place--it was disappointing.
Music was light so conversation was easy. Food was good and the table was set nicely. Comments in my group were that there wasn't much salmon in the smoked salmon rigatoni. They also don't have a rose wine so that was unfortunate. My chicken and rosemary ravioli was delicious though, and the chocolate mousse was very rich and good. We ordered Bruschetta Mista & Calamari Fritti for appetizers and they were both delicious...toasted nicely, perfectly crispy. Service was friendly and attentive, they were patient and accommodating with our large group. Other tables were filled two-person tables so it would be a fine place for a date night. Overall it was a good experience!
