Great restaurant just as we expected. We have been there before with the same experience
It was nice experience. Service staff is excellent.
Vivek, one of the servers was very kind in suggesting vegetarian options
Love the place!! Very nice, casual setting overlooking a lake. We went there just to have a nice, early evening dinner and we were so pleasantly surprised! My bruschetta and my husband’s melon and prosciutto as appetizers were so delicious! We shared a 12” pizza with prosciutto (again!, love it), arugula and cheeses. It was so delicious that we loved it more then any pizza from our area (NYC !!). Our waiter , from Turkey, was very nice and accommodating, he was a pleasure to talk to.
We visited on the recommendation of a friend but were not overly impressed and expected better from the Ritz Carlton.
We'd made a reservation but were asked to sit at the bar for 25 minutes because there were no tables. Given the delays to a confirmed reservation, we thought perhaps a complementary drink might be nice but instead we were encouraged (repeatedly) to have appetisers and drinks. We didn't want food at the bar, we wanted our table!
The food itself was fairly high quality - certainly no complaints. However, even though it was Ritz Carlton, the cost was disproportionate to the food quality and ambiance. The mis-balance between wine quality and cost was eye-watering (4x mark up!). We are Cayman residents and so there are no misplaced perceptions about costs here. We eat out a great deal. Overall, we'd say there are much better italian options on the island (Luca, Ragazzi, Eduardos & Casanova). It was nice to try somewhere different though.
Great service and excellent food
Overall felt like a bad Italian
Very forgettable and nothing of note
Great place our server made it much better thank you Onur (Turkey)
Friendly staff, good food, and overall good experience. My 6-years old son believes he had "the best spaghetti and meatballs ever!"
We would go back again.
The scenery was amazing. Great customer service. Great food.
Great food thank you done well for the price good service as well
You need to go before dark and the mosquitos come out. Made what was a great meal much less enjoyable.
Best meal on the island! Out of this world bruschetta!
Andiamo was perfect for my two girls and us. They were so attentive, and had a ton of passion for what they do. Wesley and his team were amazing and we must've eaten there every night we were at the hotel. Amazing food and fish feeding is a plus
Loved it!! Pizza was awesome!
Apparently there is a problem with mosquitoes recently and as Andiamo is entirely outdoor seating, it is especially problematic. When we arrived for our reservation, we were told that they had tried to call us to let us know it was canceled due to the mosquito problem. This was not true. We had not missed any calls either in our hotel room (at the same property as the restaurant) or our cell phone. Major issue number one!
We were told we could either take food to go or go elsewhere. At our own risk, we could use some OFF and dine there anyway but it was not encouraged. There were a few other families and couples dining there, so we decided to stay. We knew we wouldn't be able to get another reservation so late in the day (7:00 pm on July 4).
Long story short: the service was slow- especially considering by the end of our dinner we were literally the only ones there; the food was fair- baked shells that tasted more like Olive Garden than a gourmet Italian restaurant; there was annoyingly loud music; and the overall awkwardness of being there alone made th mosquitoes seem like the least of the issues.
Buggy with no inside option. Food is prepped well with some lacking flavor in the traditional red sauce dishes. If you're looking for Italian it will serve you well.
It's expensive but it's the Ritz and so it is very pleasant atmosphere. Not much to eat in the plates and nothing really exciting about the food. Service was almost perfect.
Went with my best friend for her birthday. Very friendly and accommodating staff from diverse locations (we met Canada, India and Phillipains). Great truffle fries, tasty pasta dish and sandwich, delightful dessert shots. Enjoyed a long conversation before heading over to the Silver Rain spa for pedicures. Only complaint was my friend's sandwich had cheese which she had asked them to omit.
Great ambience and service. Would have given a perfect review but for the price of the wine, a few more cheaper options would have gone well with the rest of the menu, because we thought all of the food we ordered was really good value. Loved the selection of small desserts brought to the table so you could see what looked good before ordering.
Outdoors only can be a little hot. Pizza, pasta and service was very good.
I picked Andiamo for something new and different. I did my research and I knew going in that the menu was limited and that it would be pricey for a party of 5. Most of us found the atmosphere good, though I would encourage management to investigate using screened doors with screened-in seating to keep flies to a minimum. The service was prompt and capable and the food was tasty - if only the portions were bigger! We had a 'Debbie Downer' in the group that made things, well, interesting. But, all in all, it's worth a visit for lunch.
I think Andiamo is over-priced. We have eaten at all of the Ritz-Carlton restaurants and while they are all relatively expensive, this one, the least expensive, is the most over-priced and disappointing. The wine wasn't very good and the lasagna was mushy and too salty. We won't be back.
If it's rained at all that week don't even try. We sat down and ordered drinks and we're immediately swarmed by mosquito's and we had prepared for being outside with spray beforehand however unbearable. Cannot comment on the food however ordered a gin gimlet that tasted more like a margarita - so maybe don't ask for something not on the menu either.
We just had the Pizza and some appetizers as a convenient rained-in dinner at the Ritz. Good food but nothing special to write about in the meal. The service was nowhere near Ritz level as the servers were just acting out their training.
Some of the open sitting area was closed due to rain so probably somewhat cramped their style.
The staff is friendly but unfortunately the food was disappointing. This was the first meal at the ritz that we had that was not super delicious. The pizza is nothing to write home about neither is the baked shell pasta as it needed more mozzarella cheese. The ambience is lovely and if you book in advance you can get the table that you like overlooking the harbor which is pleasant. However, I do not recommend the food at this restaurant.
Service is always excellent , staff is friendly and attentive but never intrusive . Food is good for an Italian style restaurant on an island . Atmosphere is comfortable an pleasant .
A great poolside restaurant with excellent food.
Great dinner with our kids. Fun, relaxing environment. The staff was extraordinary! So accommodating and friendly. They made out night!
I enjoyed the outdoor restaurant but my only issue was that no one told us that the place had lots of mosquitoes. Between my family of three, we were bitten over 20 times!!! Concerned about the Zika virus, I was pretty annoyed no one told us to spray bug repellent before going to the restaurant. Otherwise, service, food and overall was very good.
Service was great. Food was fine. Bread for table came with black olive tapenade and was delicious. Salad was ok, pizza good. Casual.
Very fun outdoor dining! Great food and wait staff! A very enjoyable, relaxed family spot!
The setting is very pretty. This is a covered outdoor space near the pool. Should it be windy there is no protection. The service was very good, food presen
Myself and two friends had lunch prior to spa treatments at the Silver Rain spa. We were served by Elizabeth who was friendly and attentive. We had the burger, fish wrap and veggie pasta for lunch and treated ourselves to perfectly sized dessert "shots". Lovely experience and top notch service for less than $100 (this is impressive for Cayman). Booking online was easy and the email reminder was appreciated.
food was good portions too small i was not too happy with table as i had to choose one at the back entrance because there were 2 tables which had small crying kids , so we had to suffer with a table we didnt like because of parents bringing in small children
Came to Grand Cayman for our honeymoon. Tried Andiamo and the Ritz-Carlton. Service was excellent, food was really terrible. I will admit that I have high expectations for the Ritz restaurants, Andiamo did not measure up with the food. Our server was excellent, exactly what I expect for the Ritz.
The food was really good! I had skirt steak which was tender and so flavourful. There just seemed to be some confusion with staff that night. 3 people asked to take our order. No one knew who was our waiter. We felt rushed and took our order and fed all in half an hour. Ha. Made for a short night. The staff are super friendly, just maybe an unorganized night.
Nice location. Interesting to watch Tarpon feeding. Food was somewhat bland. Truffle Fries were disappointing. Service was very good.
Very disappointing. I reserved a table for three weeks ahead of time. We were crammed into a table for 2. Overpriced menu. The wine was ridiculously priced. I'd recommend this to no one.
Lovely. Drinks overpriced but food very good and service spectacular with a lovely location.
Great food, the Branzino was delicious, I definitely recommend! I ate every last bit of it. Though it's an outdoor restaurant there is a nice breeze that flows through since its next to the harbor. My kids enjoyed it as well. kid-friendly atmosphere for all ages. The Gelato is delicious as well and the service is great! We preferred this restaurant over all of the others at the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman and we dined at all of them, but came here twice.
