Staying in aviemore, found this restaurant from a review website, excellent reviews and didn't disappoint, food was very tasty, Sunday lunch was perfect, beef was thickly cut and cooked to perfection

My partner and I were in the area for the weekend and thought we would make a reservation to have dinner. Beautiful food (although my portion of the risotto was rather large and couldn't eat it all) been a few times love the atmosphere and the staff are lovely, have already recommended to a few people! Lovely place to eat.

Great food with an extensive menu catering brilliantly for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I'm not used to having such a variety of vegetarian dishes so we were spoilt for choice and look forward to returning and sampling other options. Staff very professional and ambiance stunning, I liken it to a top class city restaurant..party of 6 all extremely satisfied.

Love this place. Quick soup and sandwich - delicious... and working wifi. All freshly prepared in open kitchen. Worth a five mile bike ride from Aviemore - or the train.

We booked the Old Watermill Lodge for a week and booked in on our last night. Food, service and atmosphere was great. We will be back to try the a la carte menue next time!

Our dinner was a double birthday party and the staff were excellent helping us celebrate. The food was outstanding, with perfectly cooked tender meats, unique and delicious combinations (Christmas spiced smoked salmon!) and expert presentation. By far one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in a long time, and very reasonably priced. Definitely a place worth travelling to, can't wait to go back.
