Great steak. Ours was a little under what we wanted this was personal preference issue and they were happy to cook it a bit longer. Sides were also just as good as the main event - steak

Our booking on Saturday 14th March was an excellent experience.i must mention at this critical time we felt absolutely everything you could do to limit any contamination was undertaken by the owner and the staff very reassuring.

We went on Friday afternoon it was quiet in the restaurant which for me added to the experience

Another fabulous evening at Andersons. Staff warm and welcoming as soon as you walked in. Had fillet steak which was recommended by waitress. Was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend visiting.

Starter was cold and was sent back twice..main course was OK but experience was spoilt by issue of the starter,if you are paying this much for a meal you expect much better

Always a first choice for us as we come atleast once a month, never had a bad meal here the staff are always lovely and make us feel welcome, we love the food and will continue to come to Anderson’s for many years to come.

Came for a meal to celebrate my hubby retiring as it was recommended by our daughter.
We were made to feel welcome right away and the staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive (thank you Shannon, Becky and Oona),
Food was well presented and tasted wonderful, and the chef even put Happy retirement on our desserts board.
Will definitely be back in the future.

Really enjoyed our time at Anderson’s. I had the fillet steak, it was incredible and the accompaniments of green beans, smashed new potatoes with garlic and cream and the blue cheese and port sauce were perfect too. We also ordered the nose to tail, which was exceptional. Drinks were good too, there was a range to choose from. It was a Monday night so relatively quiet and relaxing in the restaurant, we were generally seen to very quickly by the waitresses so no complaints on the service. High quality food in a lovely setting.

The first time we went to Anderson's last year was just great.
This second time, a total disappointment.
It was very noisy and the waitress struggled to speak loud enough so that we could hear them.
This led to us not being able to understand the different options properly and therefore choose properly.
The meat was full of fat and arrived cold.
The starter was minuscule and tue chips just ok.
All of this for £40 pp.
I don't think we'll go back for a third time.

Staff very friendly, quick service and I am coeliac so I was really pleased they had a gluten free menu. I had rib eye steak, cooked perfectly medium and lots of flavour. Nice red wine to go with it too. It is a bit expensive but the food is worth it and for a special occasion. It was my boyfriend's birthday and they bought him a small dessert with a candle which was sweet. Overall a great experience and I'll be back for another special occasion.

Food was delicious, especially the Roast Beef, perfect Sunday roast, the ambiance was delightful, staff were helpful and friendly! Desserts were tasty, especially the apple crumbe! Yumm!

service was a little slow to receive starters, noted others arriving after us getting served quickly in comparison to us.
Starters both very good.
Mains, mom's rump roast a little chewy and tough to cut, my steak excellent. disappointed with Yorkshire puddings, very dry. Veg very good.
Desserts both very good.

Booked the end of month Sunday roast for 6 of us before Xmas so we were all excited to get together and eat. We have all visited this place on many occasions but not for the Sunday roast for quite some time. The welcome was polite and efficient and the venue was warm and inviting. Four of chose the chicken which considering we all originally discussed have the beef was quite a coincidence. There was plenty of chicken and it was cooked beautifully as were all the vegetables. There was additional gravy placed on the table too along with a few sides. The roast beef order for one of our party was apparently delicious as was the other diners risotto. Having had a selection of starters, four of us declined the deserts but what was ordered went down very well. Wouldn’t hesitate recommending this place for any occasion especially the Sunday roast and we will all be visiting again soon.

Incredible porterhouse sharing steak. Will recommend it to everyone

The steak came raw I asked medium rare starters was fabulous, was not greeted on arrival, asked to move tables n my request was supported

Porterhouse steak was delicious. My only criticism is we think the side orders have shrunk, we used to get much more onion rings and mushrooms than you get now. Are the bowls smaller? Or simply is the chef just giving less?

The hostess was rude and abrasive, she made several comments that were not needed and excessive. Her comments and character did not mix well with the assmed experience the owner may be trying to portray. Bad hire!!! Will spend my money elsewhere next time.

This was our late valentines date. We shared a porterhouse medium and it was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent and at no point did we feel under pressure. The waitress serving us was friendly and attentive. This is our special steak house and it's never disappointed. Worked well for a Monday evening as it was quiet and intimate.

Even on a a busy valentines night the food and service was exceptional, have already recommend to family and friends. Hope to return soon!

A lovely venue. Staff were friendly and efficient. Slightly disappointed with the Tomahawk steak. It was okay, not full of flavour with too much fat which became cold quite quickly.

Amazing food, great atmosphere, waitresses were polite and lovely. You get what you pay for and this place is amazing.

Food always good, drinks ehh first time wasnt impressed with drinks BUT staff kept changing to please us in the end we was pleased. Still my fav restaurant.
