Andalucia Tapas Restaurant & Bar Ratings and Reviews
One of Houston’s must go to destinations for an unforgettable dinning experience.
Their delicious menu items will not disappoint including vegetarian options for the healthy conscious consumers.
The staff is extremely attentive and will not leave you unattended, even with a full house, service was top notch.
The ambiance is filled with great energy as the Flaminco artist entertain with wonderful music and visually delightful dancing!
Great for birthdays, friends visiting from out of town, casual get togethers w family.
If you wish to whisper sweet nothings in your significant others ear over dinner this my not be the spot. Absolutely a great place to go for every other occasions. Highly recommend!
When taking my wife to the Quilt Show, I get to choose the restaurant. Normally a steakhouse, but decided to do something different this time. What a surprise. Food was great, reasonably priced, but the real treat was the Flamenco Guitar and Dancing. Lots of fun. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little out of the ordinary.
This place is amazing! We had so much fun that we spent like 3 hours in there without even noticing the time. This is one of the best experiences my girlfriend and I have had in a restaurant. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious and inexpensive, all our plates came in super fast, and the best part of all was the flamenco show.Overall, the whole experience is what we enjoyed the most and will definitely recommend to anyone searching for a unique experience.
The food is fantastic! Our waitress was new and you could tell, she had another waitress backing her (that was the only save of the night for service.) Really enjoy the live music, it is loud so if you don’t like that, then don’t go on Friday or Saturday nights. But love everytime I go ☺️
We were attending a nursing conference so we had 6 people at dinner. Our server was amazing and recommended the tapas platter which was outstanding . We tried. Few others as well and all split everything . Not to mention the sangria which is legendary . You have to try this wonderful
One of the best experiences I have had celebrating my birthday. The whole ambiance of the place made me feel like I was in Spain. The flamenco dancers, singer, guitarist and drummer were exceptional. The food and service were absolutely top notch. I offer my sincere thanks to the manager Jose, our water Marcos, and the most endearing hostess Rachel for making my birthday a very special occasion.
We were looking forward to a long dinner with our friends, we discussed with the waitress that we would like the plates to come out 1-2 at a time. She suggested that we order everything at once and the kitchen would space them appropriately. We ordered 8 plates and at first received 1, then 2 more came out shortly after, then the final 5 came at once so we ended with 7 plates in the table for 4 people. Since most of the plates were hot we needed to eat quickly or eat cold food, and the meal was over in 40 minutes, not what we were hoping for. Also went on a Saturday and the waitress told us the entertainment on Friday is great but the Saturday guy is bad.
Absolutely loved the experience. Met up with some friends (three vegetarians and three meat eaters). They have a specific vegetarian section which made things easy for finding vegetarian friendly options. The live Flamenco music in the room was a superb touch.
This was our first visit to Andalucia, and just let me say WOW! When we first arrived, the restaurant was only about half-full. But within 30 minutes of arriving, the restaurant became totally packed as people apparently arrived to enjoy the live Flamenco music and Flamenco dancers while eating. We ordered several tapas as well as the Paella de Mariscos for 4-6 people. All of the dishes we sampled were absolutely delicious! Our waiter Will, started us off on a really great note by offering us a glass of free sangria each, because it was our first visit here. The sangria was delicious. We then tried the "Pulpo A La Brasa" which was octopus cooked with baby potatoes, onions, celery and olives. The flavor was absolutely amazing. We also ordered the "Higados De Pollo", which were wonderfully crispy chicken livers marinade in a delicate sweet and tangy sauce. For our third tapa choice, we ordered the "Pinchos Morunos" which were absolutely amazing grilled chunks of lamb cooked with onions, peppers and baby tomatoes in a wonderful sauce and served on little skewers. Our final dinner choice was the "Paella de Mariscos", which was served in a large skillet with an abundance of seafood including mussels, clams, scallops, fish and shrimp, and a layer of saffron rice. The flavor was delicate, warming and slightly herbaceous and complete with a wonderful reminiscent complete tone of ocean delight. At 8 pm, the Flamenco guitarists, singers and dancers entertained the entire restaurant with authentic music and dance from Spain which was amazing, inviting, and just simply fantastic. I just cannot say enough good things about our experience here. We are already planning our next dinner night out here for next weekend. Our advice: Try to arrive on Friday evenings just before 8pm, so you can enjoy the live music and dancing with your meal. And try a little of everything on the menu!
We were assigned to a table that was right in front of the stage which was our interest about going to this place in the first place. The waiter was very nice and cordial and the overall atmosphere was very nice and friendly. The music was very good and the dancer very professional. We enjoyed the night out in town.
Really like this place, have been there a number of times over the last 5 years. Main reason I could not give 5 stars for "Overall" or "Ambience" is: We were there Saturday. The Flamenco group they had, was not the same group I had grown accustomed to seeing there on Friday and Saturday nights. Turns out that the group I expected to see, only performs on Friday now. The new "Saturday group" is not even close to as good; really kind of boring. :( But the food is great, good service, nice atmosphere.
Was there on a Saturday. To my surprise it was not busy. We got tapas; pincho de res, pincho de moruno, some pork loin in sauce and paella de mariscos...everything was great. They had live music and a flamenco show that left us wanting to come back ... Great place for family dinners
We were seated promptly even tho we arrived 25 minutes earlier. The table was in a great location so we could enjoy the show. Solero group is wonderful we love Irma's beautiful voice and the flamenco dancers are spectacular. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Definitely will come back.
We enjoyed the food. We'll done tapas with a lot of variety. The service was very attentive and prompt. Chicken liver, oxtail, anchovies etc. This was a birthday celebration and it made the evening perfect for my wife. The musicians and dancers are excellent.
