Great food. Great Value. LOUD!!! Love it and would definitely go again.
Andalucia exceeded my expectations for both food and entertainment. My favorite music is flamenco and I have been wanting to see an authentic ensemble for years. The space is small enough to get a good view of the performers from anywhere in the room. The guitarist was divine and I would have been happy to listen to him solo for hours. The Solero dancers were passionate, skilled and engaged with the audience, and the cante, palmas and cajon knitted everything together beautifully. I felt like I had been transported to Southern Spain. There were several large tables of Spanish speakers celebrating various occasions that added to the ambiance. I was celebrating my birthday and I was happy to be given a table for two very close to the performance.
Our server was attentive and lovely and our drinks and food came quickly, even though it was Friday night and a full house. I was surprised to find that the house chardonney was excellent, as were my husband's margaritas. We ordered the large paella even though there were only two of us since it got such good reviews and my husband is allergic to eggs so limited in his choices. It was the best we've ever had and we had more than enough to enjoy another entire meal at home. The tapas we saw at tables around us looked delicious too. All in all a splendid and unforgettable birthday!
The food was great and the music along with the belly dancer was the icing on the cake!
The food was delicious! Service was great and the atmosphere was delightful. Great Spanish music and flamenco dancing. It is now on my favorites list for sure.
Wonderful experience ! Great selection of food and drinks. Amazing live music.
Great meal and drinks before a Rockets game!
Great food and excellent service!
The food was wonderful (and I went with a Spanish woman who agreed), the service was excellent and the flamenco dancers and guitarist were AWESOME!! Going back soon!!!👍🏼
Very much enjoyed the Flamenco dancing and live music on Saturday night! My husband and I had a superior evening of fun, drinks, and delicious food. Excellent service. Can't wait to go again!
Always a good place to get together with a friend. I recommend coming at 6:30 or 7 for conversation and then staying to watch the Flamenco dancing starting at 8. The tapas are definitely the way to go, and their cocktails are yummy.
We were visiting Houston on business. I always look into the best places to eat before our trip and Andalucia made the cut. It was so worth it! The food was amazing, service great, entertainment also great. I would definitely go back if ever in the Houston area. Get the shrimp and red sangria...YUM!!!
Way too noisy, my debit card got billed twice. I even got hit in my shoulder with a baby chair and the waitress just kept on going. The belly dancer, sucked, well not the flamenco. This place has gone down the drain. I think I'll stick to flying to Spain for real tapas.
First timers, food and service was great! Loved the Flamenco performance by the little girls! The live band was also great!
Love the Seafood Paella and White Sangria. Nice place to eat Downtown.
My favorite is the spinach empanadas, the last time I went I had the lunch express salad, vegetarian paella, and dessert (tres leches) was freakin awesome. Love the food there! :)
Great restaurant experience! The food was exquisite and the Flamenco Show did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
We all had a great time! The food was amazing, d love red promptly and HOT! The live dancing was magical! However, the overall noise level of the room was pretty loud, making conversation with my wife difficult (sitting right next to me), and having to almost yell across the table to our coworkers 😬. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the evening!
We West for my Birthday, I really had a good time, the waitress couldn’t be better, that lady made us all feel like home, we can say that next time we go back, hope she will be air waitress again. The group of musicians were great!
It's a really beautiful restaurant with all the details on decor. The live music is worth it, but the food so so. I enjoyed bits and pieces of our order. But nothing stood out. I also felt rushed like they wanted me to eat and leave. It was my birthday and I just wanted to enjoy myself because I was really excited for the flamenco dancing ( which was amazing). I just wished all the food would have come together, because it was cold by the time we were all served and that I was allowed to enjoy it without so much feeling like I had to finish fast so they could give the table to another. The drinks were okay, but watered down and over priced a bit. Our server was not the best, but I did interact with other that were much more pleasant. So I would say that it was that bad, just could have been more helpful and friendly. The owners were sweet and in the end I did get my dessert free and a candle to make a birthday wish. Happy hour seems like the better time to go though. So I'll try once more for that, and I'll recommend the live music once again because it truly was spectacular.
Best place in Houston Downtown to enjoy a little piece of Spain, great cusine, good live music and a lovely place to get out with peers, couple or friends
Decent Tapas and excellent Flamenco entertainment during the weekend . Authentic spanish restaurant atmosphere.
Excellent food and a charming staff.
Food was wonderful and they had us out in time for our concert at the house of blues. Will come again soon.
Awesome place with great atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.
Random, but one thing is missing is quality Spanish bread! Like what is this wonder bread they are serving?! A crunchy baguette would be more appropriate.
Andalucia was a great dining experience! Our reservations were for 5 o’clock and we were seated immediately. This was our first time and our waitress was kind enough to give us some recommendations. We ordered the tapas platter which is 6 tapas. The food was all very good. We will definitely visit here again.
I brought my wife for her birthday. I could have been more pleased. Service, food, drinks and entertainment were great!
This place was amazing! We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The service was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. The tapas were larger portion sizes than I was expecting and the taste was phenominal. We ordered 6 tapas to share amongst the 2 of us and couldn't finish them. The live music and flamenco dancers were the perfect entertainment for the evening. We cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu!
Love it. Atmosphere is great and energetic
A group of us went for my Birthday. The service was fantastic. Very personable and attentive. The food was delicious and the drinks were good. Overall it was a fantastic experience. We look forward to our next visit.
This was our 4th visit to Andalucia, and I have to say that I love it, love it, love it more every time we go there. The authentic Spanish tapas are wonderful, and the live flamenco music and flamenco dancing add an extra-special romantic charm to the surroundings. Amount our favorite tapas are the pulpo (octopus) bites cooked with peppers and onions, the chicken livers marinaded and cooked in a slightly spicy sauce, and the roasted lamb on skewers. The seafood paella is excellent here, as well. They also make fantastic bar drinks, and have a varied wine list to match. This is among my favorite restaurants in all of Houston.
We had an amazing evening. Our waitress was very attentive, informative, and fun! The food was delicious, and the entertainment was great. We had out-of-town guests, and we were very glad we chose this restaurant.
The tappas we ordered when just okay (usually a lot fresher and hot). The Paella was terrible. We got Paella for 4 and it was dry without any flavor. The mussels and clams were sandy. I have been there several times and it was good before, but I feel the service was bad too. I had to constantly call the waitress and ask for service. She never brought me my 2nd drink and it was very frustrating. We were celebrating my mom's 78th birthday and it was very disappointing.
Overall loved it! The band was amazing and very engaging, the place was not super loud that we could not hear each other although there was a live band performing! You could still have a conversation without having to yell.
The food was below average. We have been here before and the food was much better then. Virtually everything we ordered tasted like it was sitting around all day then zapped in a microwave just to get it above room temperature. I like the live show, but we expect much more from the food especially considering the price.
They wanted to seat us in a corner - when there was almost nobody in the restaurant.
Had to slightly argue to get this changed. Not good!
Ordered 4 plates and got 3, even though 4 were on the bill. not good!
Went here for my 8th year anniversary with our six year old daughter. My wife and I enjoyed the tapas, sangria, and dinner. Of course seeing the live flamenco dancing made the night even better. Seeing my daughter clapping her hands to the beat of the flamenco made it a happy celebration for our family.
So much fun on a Thursday or Friday night! Tapas, Flamenco, and spectacular fun! Our family had a blast!
We loved it here! The food was great and the server was very nice. For some reason they wanted to seat us at one of the hightop tables even though there were plenty of the regular ones. They did not come back often to fill drinks or check on how the dinner was. The food was very tasty but the wait was long for the food, but at least they let us know in advance that their kitchen was very busy. The flamenco band was awesome. The dining area is quite crowded and very little space between tables and hard to carry a conversation. Good for parties and families with kids.
I totally love this place, food is outstanding and the flamenco dancing is amazing.
Excellent service! It was my first time visiting and I will DEFINITELY be back
