very good food, creative cooking, creative presentations. Nice combination of small plate options (which were nicely proportioned) as well as full course menu items, and a good fixed price option.

In Seattle for the first time on a business trip and had no idea where to eat. Picked this place based on reviews and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and I especially liked the Clam with Chorizo tapas. Another memorable tapas was the cucumber and raw tuna dish the chef had prepared for his battle on Iron Chef. This place is definitely worth a try. I might even go again before I leave Seattle.

Tired of screaming to be heard over the 'energetic' noise levels of hip spots? Try Andaluca! You can converse in normal tones and enjoy wonderful food, attentive service, and comfortable surroundings. It is our go-to place for a romantic evening or chance to catch up with friends. The menu uses fresh seasonal ingredients, and the tasting menu of small plates lets you sample the stars of the menu without wondering what you missed. The wine list is thoughtfully chosen to complement the food, and Andaluca proudly features and promotes Washington wines. Service is friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. As I enter, I feel the day's stress melt away and can't help smiling.

Small plates menu allows you to try many things. Prices are appropriate for the small plate as are wine prices. Decor is warm but creative. We enjoyed it all.

The 'small plate' fixed price menu was an excellent value. Chorizo and clams were vey different. I would go back just for them.

We loved the salads and desserts, but the tapas really disappointed in both composition and taste. I recommend swinging by for dessert and a drink but eating your meal elsewhere.

My wife and I have been dining at Andaluca for several years and have always enjoyed the experience. The pintxos are a great way to appreciate several dishes for dinner. We also like the quiet ambiance and warmly intimate dining area.

My lunch was exquisite! I had the Mediterranean special lunch, a delicious fruity gazpacho, perfectly cooked crisp scallops, beef skewer, and the cheesecake/fig dessert. Couldn't be better, and with impeccable service. The ambiance is lovely, soft lighting and quiet enough to hear one's companion's conversation.

We went to Andaluca for my wife's birthday. As usual, the staff was great as was the food. We had a pary of 7, and given the space limitations, it wasn't an ideal seating arrangement. But the restaurant excels with groups of 4 or less.

Great food and ambiance but a little pricey for what you get (dinner). I enjoyed our friendly server and the sangria was delicious! I do not think I would go regularly as it is a litle pricey and the menu is limited - but definitely for a special occasion.

Back to back Friday nights, beef tenderloin the first time with several appetizers to start, all were fabulous. This time we had the the chesse and asparagus appetizers with the Paella for our main course. My date & I shared everything and it was a fantastic experience. the waiter was attentive but recognized we were having a romantic evening so he laid back and swooped in with impecable timing to ensure our needs were met. The saffron really brought out the flavor of the fresh seafood and muscles in the Paella, it was outstanding, and a great dish to to share with someone youi care about. I love this place! Chef Johnson is a master of delivering a fine dining experience with world class food!

Food was excellent but service was extremely, extremely slow. My steamed clams with chorizo had yummy flavor but arrived slightly less than lukewarm. All in all the food was very good and our out-of-town guests were very impressed and pleased. The waiter was pleasant and attentive but it would have helped if he would have given us a heads up about the kitchen back up.

Friday reservations, romantic spot, took my date had gazpacho trio appetizer incredible depth of flavors (we really enjoyed sharing these), and grilled asparagus (again fresh, well prepared, and well seasoned. Service was attentive and on point, our waiter recognized it was a romantic dinner for us and laid back, keeping a watchful eye on our water and Sangria levels. (The Sangria was fabulous!)We shared the beef tenderloin, it was prepared perfectly, with garlic mashed potatoes, grilled pears, and a tasty reduction. Can't wait to get back and try some other menu items, they all looked so good.

Terrific and diverse menu. The pre-fixed 3 small plates, soup/salad, and dessert for $38 was great. Go with a group and each order different things then sample from each others'. Despite the label of 'small plates', each one was fairly generous, and all together they are very filling. Also, 15% off bottles of WA wines is a great deal.

Food was terrific -- among our table of 6, we had 20 or so different items that were all amazing. The gluten-free menu is much appreciated. Service was very slow for our group; the restaurant appears to handle tables of 2 much more efficiently.
