We really enjoyed the quiet Tuesday evening. Only one other table in service during our meal. This made for a nice quiet intimate meal. Service was excellent. Sadly my rib-eye steak was medium well done, I had asked for medium rare. Otherwise food was great with nice presentation.

The wait staff was amazing. Great seat near the window looking at the water fall. The lamb chops where so tasty and my compliments goes out to the chef for the delicious food.
We will be back for brunch.

My daughter and I attended as a last minute treat for Mother's Day and we were fortunate to get a small table for 2 in a nice space. Our waiter was amazingly gracious to my 9 year old little girl who is new to more formal dining settings. He attended to our every need kindly and with welcoming words. We loved the high quality of choices of delicious foods from the assorted buffets provided. Beautifully presented and fresh!! It's been decades since I last attended the Old Mill in Ancaster and I am so glad we did - and will not wait to do it again! Thank-you for making our special time feel so special! Laura

The Ambiance is worth the price of admission, the staff was incredible! The food choices were ample but being it was mother's day the lines were long for the more popular choices but this was expected so not necessarily a complaint. We had an afternoon seating and they still had a nice assortment of breakfast and lunch options. Lovely to walk around and the magician gentleman at the front was a nice touch for those waiting to be seated.
Not my first time at the Ancaster Mill and won't be my last! Highly recommend.

The setting was beautiful. The water was raging due to large rainfalls over the previous few days and the effect was spectacular! The food was prepared with love. This restaurant prides itself on using local ingredients reflecting the current season. The items on the menu reflected this perfectly. I love that the restaurant has a welcoming family feel; children are not just tolerated, they are embraced. it’s a wonderful place to enjoy a special occasion wether it be a quiet meal for 2 or a large celebration with all your loved ones.

This was my first time attending brunch along with 2 others in our party I thourally enjoyed my experience and would definitely return, we did find our waiter was not around a lot and had to search him out for drinks or speak to someone else to get him for us outside of that we had a wonderful afternoon.

Nice history. Bartender hopeless. A dirty martini should not be difficult. Server good but a little loud. Food excellent. Female welcomers great! Atmosphere was ok and view was nice.

This is by far the best value for Easter dinner buffet including wine and cocktails/beer. Aside from the value is the beautiful setting and consistency.
Thank you for a lovely family dinner opportunity.
Until next time,
Happy Miller

We have visited the Anbaster Mill many times and will continue to return.

Its location, adjacent to one of Hamilton's many waterfalls, makes it unique. However, the food, drink and service are always excellent and worth the visit.

We went for brunch celebrating a special occasion and reserved a table a week ahead. reception and greeting were great but despite specifying in the booking that this is a special occasion and we would like a seating with a water view, we were initially placed in a table facing the wall. Staff were very understanding when I mentioned that we requested this in our reservation and moved us, we were seated in a better area as we initially requested. Waiter was very polite and responding to our needs and showing us where the hot food was. Everything tasted delicious and fresh hot with a large variety of options lunch more than breakfast though. Would prefer having more juice options as there were only 3. The coffee was horrible and decaffeinated or maybe just a hint of caffeine in it and served by the waiter per request. Would prefer having it next to the juice bar as a self serve with a variety of options and flavors. Overall it was an amazing satisfying meal, quite expensive but worth it if you're there for something special.

Staff were polite, attentive and friendly. They were watchful without being overbearing. Always good!
The place is pretty with the waterfall.
Seated quickly and table altered to allow high chair. Enjoyable family reunion!

Our family has always loved the Ancaster Old Mill. It had been a number of years since our previous visit but they did not disappoint. We attended the Sunday Brunch to celebrate my mom's birthday. The food, the staff, the whole place was just wonderful. It brought back many great memories and helped to create some new ones. Not only would I recommend The Ancaster Old Mill Brunch to a friend, we are already making plans to visit again!!

Long wait to be seated despite having a reservation. Menu was generic with no stand out dishes. Should have a chicken dish always instead of two bland fish options. Pork is incorporated into many dishes so beware if keeping kosher.

It was a great experience! My only “complaint” was our plates were never cleared when we got back to our table. Need more float staff to assist with this. Changing cutlery would have also been a nice upgrade for the price you pay and kind of expected but it did not happen from our server. Yet the table behind us from another server had this... “class act” service!
