Food was good quality. Very poor service for a restaurant of this quality. Waited a long time to be waited on. After receiving our cocktail, our waiter disappeared. Had to ask another waitress what was going on. She said he was on break and could take our order. Asked for more coffee. Waitress completely forgot about it. Went away with disappointment.
The food here was very good and outstanding for being able to walk downstairs from my room and grab a meal. I was initially disappointed as the menu in the restaurant was not the same as what was posted on line. Then I was secondarily disappointed as my favorite bottle of wine was listed on the menu, but not in stock. None of this is the fault of the restaurant, but I was still disappointed. The service was excellent, timely, and friendly. The food was good, but there was not enough selection for my taste; especially if you are staying in the hotel and choose to eat there on multiple occasions.
Dinner at was unimpressive.
Always a delightful experience, dining at Anasazi. It's become my go-to spot in Santa Fe for business meetings. FANTASTIC tuna tacos, great service - I'd accidentally left a folder there a week earlier and the hotel kept it for me and brought it to me while I was there. How 'bout that? Love the spot and will be back again and again.
Fabulous for drinks- great bar and quiet atmosphere for dinner
Beautiful presentation. Vegetables (vegetarian dinner) cooked perfectly for my taste. Friendly efficient staff.
Not good, we stayed there and the hotel is very nice. We elected to eat there as well even though there are 4 or 5 good places within walking distance. I lived in Santa Fe for 25 years and the food used to be good. Service was great and the room was fine. Nobody there are on a Saturday night. My wife's sea bass was great, served with something she couldn't identify. I tasted it and it was over cooked and very bland risotto. My steak was ordered medium rare and ended up being closer to the other end. They cut the steak up in 3 portions and perched it up to make it look nice and I'm sure this contributed to it's dryness and tough as leather. Can't recommend the place.
We split an appetizer, dinner and dessert. More than enough for two. Drinks were pricey but good. The table next to us ordered a fish dish which had an overwhelming smell. I'm always reluctant to order fish in a landlocked state for that reason.
Always a delight. Friendly, efficient service, gorgeous environment, fabulous food, just lovely each time I'm there. Nice, quiet, professional place for a business or social meet-up, and makes me feel like I'm on vacation, relaxing, every time I'm there. A continued favorite Santa Fe meeting spot.
Exceptional food and presentation. Some original takes on some standards, and creative new dishes. Food was incredibly tasteful, service was very good, and ambiance quite nice. Good bar scene and very good bartenders with healthy pours. With their new chef and decor do-over, i highly recommend. And did i mention the tequila tasting table?!?
Good but not memorable or special. Presentation was strange, messy even. The octopus appetizer, which I don’t even like, was cooked well -I even tried it. My appetizer was too heavy and a bit jumbled. Neither of the desserts stood out - the texture of the marshmallows was slimy and the mousse cake was, well, just boring. It was the most disappointing meal of the week. My fish was okay, the duck, a little better. For high end motel fare, much prefer Terra-it’s worth the drive over this meal any day. Service was efficient and pleasant and the live music fit in quite nice, although it was over mid-way through our meal.
The duck was tough and the romaine salad over reaching.
Great chocolate torte for a split dessert!
Although not as totally great as our first visit, this is still a good restaurant. We both had the charred lettuce with grapefruit, radishes and bacon with buttermilk dressing; it was unusual and great. The flavors worked together. The watermelon radishes were tasty and different from red radishes. I had the sea bass. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and dry. The biggest problem, though, was that it was served with winter vegetables. It didn't dawn on me before ordering that I would not be thrilled, because I do not like most winter vegetables. The spaghetti squash was the hit. so, the veggies were my fault, not the restaurant. My husband ordered the mushroom and truffle ravioli. Our next table diners raved about it, so it definitely works for many. My husband thought it was just okay. Dessert of bread pudding was one of the best he has ever had ( and it has been many all over the world). Our server could have used customer service training - she did not seem to care at all, although went through the motions. However, all of the rest of the servers and personnel were very customer service oriented and delightful. So, this time it was mixed, but will return, based on our first visit and that some of the dishes were good.
Great food, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service. What more can you ask for?
Chicken, cranberries and chestnuts were unique but could have been executed better with more cranberries. Lemon mousse was incredible, top shelf. Wait staff is best in Santa Fe. Appreciate the affordable wine selections. Appreciated our waitress letting us sample True Myth before purchase as it introduced us to a new Cabernet we now love.
Great service, great food. A really friendly and quiet atmosphere.
A lovely setting, very professional wait staff who never keep you waiting, and inventive but tasty food. Great combination for a casual lunch.
Very attractive room. Efficient and lively service. Food good. A little pricey but it is in tourist central area and hotel itself is pricey.
This is my favorite restaurant in Santa Fe.
The Ambience, Service, Food and Presentation is Wonderful.
We came here for a fixed price Thanksgiving dinner. The choices were limited, unimaginative and way over priced. The turkey offering was a turkey leg which we passed on. There was a vegetarian choice and the third was the filet which we both ordered. Mine was underdone and the sauce was non existent. Two offerings for dessert. A very mundane pumpkin pie sliver or an ok Cranberry tart. The starter salad was way too sweet. This for $95 per person. Plus we each had one cocktail and one glass of wine which with tip and tax cane to $300. Don’t waste your money. We had come here for their Thanksgiving dinner about 10 years ago and our experience then was quite different. Never again
Dinner menu very limited, not that appealing.
Bar menu was good!
This restaurant was a letdown. Although the ambiance is warm and woody, for the price the portions were small and the food, by and large, overcooked. Plus, the portions were skimpy. Another example of hotel cooking.
just really really good. refined, confident, gorgeous, well executed food, highly professional and unpretentious.
Octopus over cooked. Whipped cream on the ravioli wtf is that. Steak cooked perfectly very nice cut of meat, over done with garnish flowers though, so many flowers, gross Very nice place but food was bad.
Third time I've been to Anasazi. The service is always great. The food...we had two seafood dishes that were just overcooked. Seared octopus was tough and overdone and what the kitchen did to a lovely piece of halibut was obscene. Overcooked, but only by 1 minute. I've had seafood each time I've been to Anasazi and it's always overcooked. But then, Santa Fe is a long way from any ocean! The wine list was good, but we were told there was only one bottle left of our selection! At least we got it, but we had to drink slowly because we could get only one! But it was half off Monday and we didn't know! That made the wine even more delicious after we got the bill.
The restaurant was in a great location just off the main square in Santa Fe. The menu offered some interesting choices as well as some of the traditional items expected in Santa Fe. It had a great vibe but was still quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Definitely one we would recommend .
Food was "fine", but service mediocre and prices exorbitant.
Poor or slow service trumps all else. This was an off day at Anasazi.
Dinner. Duck breast; mushroom and truffle raviolis. Both excellent. The service was perfect. Wine list was top rate. Tables nicely spaced.
We last dined in this restaurant 10 years ago and on this visit it was even better than we remembered. The ambiance and food were both excellent.
Interesting menu. Contemporary decor, lovely lounge arrangement. Quiet but lively. Delish arromas.
Very unique menu with great food and service. In an old inn right in Santa Fe has outside seating as well as elegant inside seating
Our service was excellent, great ambiance and the food was delicious.
Very disappointing! Ate here years ago when it was a top rated restaurant. In addition to other dishes that were just ok, between the 4 of us, we had 2 different pasta dishes that were terrible. They'd be better off taking the pasta off the menu. That being said, we're staying in the hotel (wonderful) and breakfast is very good in the restaurant.
Poor service, badly prepared food, extra small portions
One of my favorite spots. The Food was outstanding. The Lamb was the best I ever had. The Octopus was cooked softer than i've ever had before (and the flavor with the beans and churizo was fantastic). This food was absolutely amazing and a must try!
Disappointing. The meal was lunch. The salmon was good, the bread was not fresh, the greens with the fajitas were not fresh, and the fajitas were not served sizzling like most places.
Make another choice for lunch
Amazing food d and the service was spot on!
I would go back in a second
We went for Sunday brunch. It was fabulous. Huevos Rancheros was among the best ever. Eggs Benedict was incredible. The service was perfection. Very friendly staff. A great experience overall. Highly recommended!
