The soft shell crab sandwich was yummy but the roll was dry & crumbly. It would be an awesome salad. The beet gazpacho was amazing!!

We went to this restaurant because the hotel is a must see stop in the 1,000 Places to Visit in Your Lifetime book. We are RVing across the US and didn't need a hotel so this was our compromise to enjoy the stop. Did the Prix Fare lunch menu. Great lunch, sat outside on the patio and reasonable price.

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The staff is very well trained. The menu sounds delicious. We were there on a weekend evening and there was a singer/guitarist who was great. Unfortunately, the food was not good. I had the brussels sprouts appetizer and then the raviolis and both were very disappointing. Otherwise, it was great and I would go again.

This is a beautiful restaurant set within a lovely hotel, excellent food and beautiful presentation, and professional and friendly service. We had a very nice lunch experience, but I expect dinners are equally impressive.

We enjoyed our experience and will return. Also complement Open Table. This was our anniversary and I indicated that on reservation. Anasazi responded with complementary deserts. I have NEVER had a problem with any reservation I have made through Open Table. This is my preferred means for making reservations.

The food was not up to expectations. My husband and I each had the strip which I would describe as an everlasting gobstopper you could just chew and chew and it would never go away. It was also poorly seasoned. If you expect to have quality ingredients and food prepared by an expert when you pay $200 for your meal this restaurant is not for you

Overall just average, not great for the price point with so many other great offerings in Santa Fe, I had the Halibut, which was a beautiful piece of fish that suffered from a rather unimaginative preparation. Had always wanted to try this restaurant, but wouldn't go back.

As a party of 6 we ordered 4 salads to split, 6 entrees, and one of the cheapest bottles of wine on the menu. We had no other drinks than water and no dessert. Our bill was nearly $500, which included about $110 for tax and the mandatory tip, which was already added on. For the quality, which was mixed at best, and the quantity, the check was outrageous.

The menu was extremely limited, with only a small handful (5-6) of entrees, and did not meet expectations based on the advertised fusion of cutting edge Southwestern cooking with French influences. We really didn't experience anything cutting edge or French.

I had the Lamb Chop, which was excellent, but the side of vegetables was mushy and bad tasting. I gave up after two bites. My wife had Halibut, and was extremely disappointed, which is a bad sign, given her love of seafood. Another person had the Pork Chop, which was lovely on the plate, but so tough she needed help to cut it, and it had very little flavor.

The bread brought to us as a starter featured three varieties, and overall was probably the worst bread we have ever been served. One variety was a stiff flat wafer type, which looked like thick cardboard and tasted like it too. One bite was enough. The dark brown bread looked nice, but also had little flavor. Worst was the white rolls, which were so stale they were hard, dry and inedible.

We ordered two types of salad, grilled romaine and octopus. The romaine salad was okay, but not great. I did not try the octopus salad but the others thought it was good, and actually the best part of the meal.

Overall I regretfully cannot recommend this restaurant. The food ranged from good to awful, but nothing excellent. Service was average or less. And the bill left us feeling ripped off.

The overall experience and ambience would be 5 star if the guitarist had stuck to simply playing with some singing, but his getting the diners to sing along was totally inappropriate. In the same vein, the noise level would have been quiet rather than moderate. Aside from this observation, the room is well laid out and not crowded at all. A premium experience in every way, but for the guitarist.

Food was good quality. Very poor service for a restaurant of this quality. Waited a long time to be waited on. After receiving our cocktail, our waiter disappeared. Had to ask another waitress what was going on. She said he was on break and could take our order. Asked for more coffee. Waitress completely forgot about it. Went away with disappointment.

The food here was very good and outstanding for being able to walk downstairs from my room and grab a meal. I was initially disappointed as the menu in the restaurant was not the same as what was posted on line. Then I was secondarily disappointed as my favorite bottle of wine was listed on the menu, but not in stock. None of this is the fault of the restaurant, but I was still disappointed. The service was excellent, timely, and friendly. The food was good, but there was not enough selection for my taste; especially if you are staying in the hotel and choose to eat there on multiple occasions.

Always a delightful experience, dining at Anasazi. It's become my go-to spot in Santa Fe for business meetings. FANTASTIC tuna tacos, great service - I'd accidentally left a folder there a week earlier and the hotel kept it for me and brought it to me while I was there. How 'bout that? Love the spot and will be back again and again.

Not good, we stayed there and the hotel is very nice. We elected to eat there as well even though there are 4 or 5 good places within walking distance. I lived in Santa Fe for 25 years and the food used to be good. Service was great and the room was fine. Nobody there are on a Saturday night. My wife's sea bass was great, served with something she couldn't identify. I tasted it and it was over cooked and very bland risotto. My steak was ordered medium rare and ended up being closer to the other end. They cut the steak up in 3 portions and perched it up to make it look nice and I'm sure this contributed to it's dryness and tough as leather. Can't recommend the place.

We split an appetizer, dinner and dessert. More than enough for two. Drinks were pricey but good. The table next to us ordered a fish dish which had an overwhelming smell. I'm always reluctant to order fish in a landlocked state for that reason.

Always a delight. Friendly, efficient service, gorgeous environment, fabulous food, just lovely each time I'm there. Nice, quiet, professional place for a business or social meet-up, and makes me feel like I'm on vacation, relaxing, every time I'm there. A continued favorite Santa Fe meeting spot.

Exceptional food and presentation. Some original takes on some standards, and creative new dishes. Food was incredibly tasteful, service was very good, and ambiance quite nice. Good bar scene and very good bartenders with healthy pours. With their new chef and decor do-over, i highly recommend. And did i mention the tequila tasting table?!?

Good but not memorable or special. Presentation was strange, messy even. The octopus appetizer, which I don’t even like, was cooked well -I even tried it. My appetizer was too heavy and a bit jumbled. Neither of the desserts stood out - the texture of the marshmallows was slimy and the mousse cake was, well, just boring. It was the most disappointing meal of the week. My fish was okay, the duck, a little better. For high end motel fare, much prefer Terra-it’s worth the drive over this meal any day. Service was efficient and pleasant and the live music fit in quite nice, although it was over mid-way through our meal.

Although not as totally great as our first visit, this is still a good restaurant. We both had the charred lettuce with grapefruit, radishes and bacon with buttermilk dressing; it was unusual and great. The flavors worked together. The watermelon radishes were tasty and different from red radishes. I had the sea bass. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and dry. The biggest problem, though, was that it was served with winter vegetables. It didn't dawn on me before ordering that I would not be thrilled, because I do not like most winter vegetables. The spaghetti squash was the hit. so, the veggies were my fault, not the restaurant. My husband ordered the mushroom and truffle ravioli. Our next table diners raved about it, so it definitely works for many. My husband thought it was just okay. Dessert of bread pudding was one of the best he has ever had ( and it has been many all over the world). Our server could have used customer service training - she did not seem to care at all, although went through the motions. However, all of the rest of the servers and personnel were very customer service oriented and delightful. So, this time it was mixed, but will return, based on our first visit and that some of the dishes were good.

Chicken, cranberries and chestnuts were unique but could have been executed better with more cranberries. Lemon mousse was incredible, top shelf. Wait staff is best in Santa Fe. Appreciate the affordable wine selections. Appreciated our waitress letting us sample True Myth before purchase as it introduced us to a new Cabernet we now love.
