good breakfast. very quiet. was early in the morning.
Food beautifully prepared. Very small, but varied menu.
Well the space is lovely : the service is terrible ; the food was less than average however it might have been because it was Sunday nite and empty .. food seemed old pasta soggy just odd
Lamb chops were incredible. Duck breast delicious. Appetizers were perhaps too large a portion. Specialty cocktails imaginative & fun. Plate of cookies a delightful dessert.
We always go here for lunch when we are Indian Market and also in the evenings for a drink from the bar. The food and service are good. The best is the people watching.
It was very disappointing to be seated and given bar menus instead of regular menus. The wait staff didn’t bother to notify us about not having the regular dinner menu. The menu amounted to appetizers of sliders and questadillas. Very disappointed. One would expect that an upscale restaurant would have better trained staff.
ordered salad main dish - greens were not fresh-chicken great
Thought cookie plate dessert had poor choices once I actually received it. All cookies too soft & doughy. Needs some crunch & chocolate.
Lovely setting, helpful hostess, excellent brunch ( I recommned the bloody Maria), but server could have been more accomadating to our group's celebration.
The food was wonderful and the service was as good.
Nice : excellent guitar player!!!!!! Wide range & variety of music. Very personable
A nice little gem of a restaurant in a hotel. The creation of the menu was clearly to accommodate most diners desires and dietary choices. It is not a large menu but it was well crafted. If the menu changes frequently and I were a local then this restaurant would be one of my go to places. The sommelier did a decent job of crafting a wine list but I would suggest more non-California options in the by the glass menu. The wait staff I had were friendly, polite, and professional.
Worst food we’ve ever had in Santa Fe. The broccoli salad was tough as rocks and the halibut like bubble gum. Did this place change chef’s? Thought it was supposed to be a top rated restaurant - very disappointed!
When we visit Santa Fe, we always go to the Anasazi. We've never been disappointed!
Horrible meal! Bland, generic and so disappointing! This used to be my family's favorite place to dine when we visited Santa Fe. Service was lame and we literally would have been happier eating at the burrito place next door.
My Cobb salad was tasteless. The dressing was so bland it was nonexistent. My wife ordered the soft shell crab poor boy sandwich. It tasted so bad se sent it back. She told the waiter it was very bad. To their credit they didn’t charge for it. Pretty restaurant that used to have nice food for lunch. Not anymore
The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the ambiance was superb. We will return. Relaxing all around and not a scene.
Apps and drinks were really good. I loved the grilled octopus. Bread is great! The entrees on the other hand were painfully slow and way overpriced. The “strip loin” tasted like a poorly cooked hangar steak. Very tough and grisle-y. Such a disappointment. In short go for a drink before the summer plaza bands but grab dinner somewhere else.
The soft shell crab sandwich was yummy but the roll was dry & crumbly. It would be an awesome salad. The beet gazpacho was amazing!!
We went to this restaurant because the hotel is a must see stop in the 1,000 Places to Visit in Your Lifetime book. We are RVing across the US and didn't need a hotel so this was our compromise to enjoy the stop. Did the Prix Fare lunch menu. Great lunch, sat outside on the patio and reasonable price.
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The staff is very well trained. The menu sounds delicious. We were there on a weekend evening and there was a singer/guitarist who was great. Unfortunately, the food was not good. I had the brussels sprouts appetizer and then the raviolis and both were very disappointing. Otherwise, it was great and I would go again.
Erasmo was a wonderful and friendly waiter!
Everything was delicious!
the chili chocolate chip dessert cookies are a superb find!
Inn of the Anasazi is exquisite. My wife and I enjoy celebrating what we value in our lives. Being together to share love laughter and life.
This is a beautiful restaurant set within a lovely hotel, excellent food and beautiful presentation, and professional and friendly service. We had a very nice lunch experience, but I expect dinners are equally impressive.
always delicious and creative cuisine!
servers could be a little more attentive, however...
i still enjoy being there!
We enjoyed our experience and will return. Also complement Open Table. This was our anniversary and I indicated that on reservation. Anasazi responded with complementary deserts. I have NEVER had a problem with any reservation I have made through Open Table. This is my preferred means for making reservations.
The food was not up to expectations. My husband and I each had the strip which I would describe as an everlasting gobstopper you could just chew and chew and it would never go away. It was also poorly seasoned. If you expect to have quality ingredients and food prepared by an expert when you pay $200 for your meal this restaurant is not for you
Overall just average, not great for the price point with so many other great offerings in Santa Fe, I had the Halibut, which was a beautiful piece of fish that suffered from a rather unimaginative preparation. Had always wanted to try this restaurant, but wouldn't go back.
Soup not as good as before.
As a party of 6 we ordered 4 salads to split, 6 entrees, and one of the cheapest bottles of wine on the menu. We had no other drinks than water and no dessert. Our bill was nearly $500, which included about $110 for tax and the mandatory tip, which was already added on. For the quality, which was mixed at best, and the quantity, the check was outrageous.
The menu was extremely limited, with only a small handful (5-6) of entrees, and did not meet expectations based on the advertised fusion of cutting edge Southwestern cooking with French influences. We really didn't experience anything cutting edge or French.
I had the Lamb Chop, which was excellent, but the side of vegetables was mushy and bad tasting. I gave up after two bites. My wife had Halibut, and was extremely disappointed, which is a bad sign, given her love of seafood. Another person had the Pork Chop, which was lovely on the plate, but so tough she needed help to cut it, and it had very little flavor.
The bread brought to us as a starter featured three varieties, and overall was probably the worst bread we have ever been served. One variety was a stiff flat wafer type, which looked like thick cardboard and tasted like it too. One bite was enough. The dark brown bread looked nice, but also had little flavor. Worst was the white rolls, which were so stale they were hard, dry and inedible.
We ordered two types of salad, grilled romaine and octopus. The romaine salad was okay, but not great. I did not try the octopus salad but the others thought it was good, and actually the best part of the meal.
Overall I regretfully cannot recommend this restaurant. The food ranged from good to awful, but nothing excellent. Service was average or less. And the bill left us feeling ripped off.
Wonderful service, beautiful atmosphere, quiet.
We stayed at the hotel and were very pleased with our dinner
Dining experience was fine but expensive wine.
The overall experience and ambience would be 5 star if the guitarist had stuck to simply playing with some singing, but his getting the diners to sing along was totally inappropriate. In the same vein, the noise level would have been quiet rather than moderate. Aside from this observation, the room is well laid out and not crowded at all. A premium experience in every way, but for the guitarist.
Weak - poor value!
No longer offering Elk even though it’s still on the online menu.
Great live acoustic music...decor was soft, modern but rustic. Food was new and delicious.
