We took family for a birthday, and it was just wonderful as always. The food, service, everything - just a lovely evening. Professional and courteous and helpful with my dietary needs. So appreciated. We definitely recommend and also will be back ourselves!
Wonderful food! We enjoyed everything about our meal.
Outstanding food and service! Green chili salsa is the best!
Orange upside down cake is rare, creative and exceptional.
delicious and great attention given by the wait staff...
a favorite place to go for lunch or fancy night out!
Great food but I could have been anywhere in the country. Service was great and well educated care. Everything that could be done to make the meal was part of their normal. I will continue to have meals when we visit Santa Fe.
We were so pleased by our Sunday brunch experience here on Memorial Day weekend. The bread/muffin basket was great as well as the drinks. Our food was just as delicious as it was beautiful, highly recommend the French toast and the chicken fajitas. Oh and the inside of the restaurant was beautifully decorated, very nice restrooms downstairs and there is outdoor patio seating available.
We have dined at the Anazazi for years. The new menus, service and bar are so important for a complete evening. Our guests were very impressed with our recommendation to dine here. We enjoyed multiple courses of the menu and found fine selection s of wine to accompany our meal. Thank you Anazazi and we will be back
The staff is too poorly trained for the restaurant to be as expensive as it is. So many mistakes—four separate staff members asked us for drink and/or food orders; a bottle of white wine was left on the table after a single glass was ordered; plates pushed around haphazardly. Food is okay, but overpriced for what you get.
It has been several years since we at at the Anasazi. It seemed for awhile that the chef was trying to do too many things with the food in an effort to be different. No more. The food was delicious, interesting but yet relatively simply prepared without excessive sauces. Unlike many places, the steamed vegetables were not soggy but perfectly prepared. Service was outstanding. The Inn is going for a 5 Diamond AAA rating. It's definitely heading in the right direction.
Good for a special occasion, but way, way overpriced.
Delightful ambiance mixed with food for tourists.
My wife's favorite lunch spot. Great food, love the menu selections. A big fan of the buffalo burger.
Eraseo has waited on us several times. He is excellent. Perfect spot, atmosphere for a meal where the ambiance is totally Santa Fe.
Great food and great service!!! Peter O'Brien is the executive chef and has some incredible food entrees! Don't miss it!
I love the changes at Anasazi. The new chef, Peter Obrien is fantastic! He is innovative and creates dishes that you want to try. Well balanced flavors and attractively plated. The service was attentive without being intrusive. A comprehensive wine list to tempt and the ambiance is warm and friendly with a pleasant hum.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely return soon!
Loved sitting in the lounge area. It is such a gorgeous restaurant. We had their signature Manhattans, a few starters, and wine. Delightful
Anasazi has been taken to a new level with the new Chef Peter O'Brien. His creativity in the menu is incredible. Peter has a genuine love for cooking and is blossoming in this new role. Don't miss it!!
It was my first time to eat here under the new chef....very good.
And Peter came by to talk with us-always a perk when dining.
Food and service very good. However, a family with four children negatively affected our experience. The children were quite noisy and at one point one of them was sitting on the dining room floor. Staff was walking around her! Neither the parents nor the staff addressed their behavior. At one point, they were running through the lobby and jumping on the couch. This is not the atmosphere for "fine dining." At the price we paid, we did not expect or deserve the atmosphere of a McDonald's playground. Would think twice about dining there again.
Food beautiful and delicious. The chef served us and explained the ingredients. Totally lovely and will go back 👍❤️
This was an outstanding restaurant. Decor and noise level was great. The Chef stopping by the table was the cherry on top!!
Predictably creative, delicious, and knowledgeably/attentively served. Always a good experience!
Well prepared, interesting food.
No horrid blaring music, so the ambiance is relaxed, and our party of four could have a delightful conversation.
Fabulous food, especially the lobster eggs benedict. Everyone who works there is super friendly, but server Mariella is tremendous—attentive, gracious, a real wonderful woman.
Took a group of eight from out of state who are very familiar with fine dining. I had built this up to be the best in dining in SF. Two refused to eat their entree. Very slow service, food overall not worthy of Denny’s. Will never return. In past everything was top notch.
Ive iived in Santa Fe going on 30 years. Hadnt eaten here for a long time. Article in local/regional food magazine motivated me to try again for something different. Its a high-priced restaurant with fairly average food for the local fine dining category. Fish entre not all that appetizing, but maybe they just dont know how to do fish and other entres are better executed. Appetizers somewhat better but not "mouthwatering." In general price not justified by food quality. Service was good you figure most of the customers are just visiting and unfamiliar with local options.
The Duck and the accompanying items were overcooked. The Endive salad was fairly pedestrian. The lighting was so dark you couldn't really see the food (one extra low candle didn't really help).
Food was delicious. Bartender helped us choose a mezcal to start the night off. Bison and strip steak delicious. The chocolate custard is the best- the first bite is heaven.
They are tryinhg too hard to make the food "interesting'by adding a whole variety of vegetables and flavors which do not work together.
Can’t go wrong here. We had lunch with friends. Great food and service. Every dish was not only lovely but tasty as well. Buffalo burger was exceptional. Salad with multicolored tomatoes very flavorful. Great choice.
Just fabulous food and wonderful service Exceptional bar service too!
This is a beautiful room, one of the most attractive in Santa Fe. Service is top-notch. The food was variable.
Most of the local restaurants affecting to be 'high end' simply try to do too much with the food. Too much gloppy sauce, too many sides, too many flavors. It's like the 80's never ended here. This place is no exception, and we've been coming to Santa Fe for about 20 years. The duck confit/salad starter was outstanding. The chicken entree was quite poor featuring over-cooked chicken in an overly sweet sauce with incoherent sides. The daily special of lamb osso buco was pretty good - the shank was nicely de-fatted, the sides on the plate here were too much but in fact very good - but 45 bucks for lamb shank? Come on....So if you want to come here, do so for the ambience and service, don't expect too much of the food, and prepare to pay way too much given the overall quality. By the way, we have had exactly the same reaction in years past, so things probably don't change much here.
it was wonderful to have the chef come out and the manager greet us. We loved our starters and the chefs addition to a starter. My entree, though, lacked some spice. It was all a little blah. I did not finish the spinach mushroom enchilada. I did not think the mole added anything to the steak. Even the steak, although perfectly done, was a little blah. With a little salt and pepper I did eat the steak, however. IT would have been a 5 star except for that. My partner very much enjoyed the yellowtail, however .
Food was pretty good. Both of us ordered fish which was well accompanied but slightly overdone. Good selection of entree’s, wine and desserts. Only complaint is that a 10 top of Texans decided it was ok to bring their screaming 2 year olds to a fine dining establishment.
The food was amazing and the service was fabulous, but the highlight was when the chef came out to thank us for dining with them and asked how our meal was. That doesn’t happen often and it’s one of those little things that turn a meal into something special.
Wonderful experience and meal!
While staying at the hotel, which has declined miserably from its glory days, we were reminded several times that they had imported an award winning chef, we had dinner one night. Worst choice of whole trip. Service was slow but decent, food was middling to poor, & cost was excessive for the quality. Why would one make osso buco with lamb? It was flavorless, literally, and the gremolata was harsh and sharp in no way enhancing the meat. The risotto potato cake was bland and flavorless. The smoked duck breast was marginally better. The duck itself was well prepared & en pointe but, again, the sides and sauce were forgettable and the termpura scallions were tough and bland.
Desert of chocolate pudding with piñon ice cream was miserable: should have been called milk chocolate soup. It was disgustingly mucous textured. The piñon crips were the high point, if there was one. The blueberry sorbet was grainy and flavorless as if it had been refrozen. More like a granita but lacking vibrancy of flavor. Had better food at funky Tesuque Village Market where the vegetarian chile relleno is stellar.
Tried a business lunch for 4 and IOTA was perfect // Quiet and calm // Large table worked out well to look at papers, etc // As always, with Chef Peter's arrive, the meals were GREAT //
Delicious food, excellent service, lovely ambience.
Food ok for the price, but not great. Tough meat, overcooked. Noisy environment, mainly due to adjacent bar.
