Food and service very good. However, a family with four children negatively affected our experience. The children were quite noisy and at one point one of them was sitting on the dining room floor. Staff was walking around her! Neither the parents nor the staff addressed their behavior. At one point, they were running through the lobby and jumping on the couch. This is not the atmosphere for "fine dining." At the price we paid, we did not expect or deserve the atmosphere of a McDonald's playground. Would think twice about dining there again.
Food beautiful and delicious. The chef served us and explained the ingredients. Totally lovely and will go back 👍❤️
This was an outstanding restaurant. Decor and noise level was great. The Chef stopping by the table was the cherry on top!!
Well prepared, interesting food.
No horrid blaring music, so the ambiance is relaxed, and our party of four could have a delightful conversation.
Fabulous food, especially the lobster eggs benedict. Everyone who works there is super friendly, but server Mariella is tremendous—attentive, gracious, a real wonderful woman.
Took a group of eight from out of state who are very familiar with fine dining. I had built this up to be the best in dining in SF. Two refused to eat their entree. Very slow service, food overall not worthy of Denny’s. Will never return. In past everything was top notch.
Ive iived in Santa Fe going on 30 years. Hadnt eaten here for a long time. Article in local/regional food magazine motivated me to try again for something different. Its a high-priced restaurant with fairly average food for the local fine dining category. Fish entre not all that appetizing, but maybe they just dont know how to do fish and other entres are better executed. Appetizers somewhat better but not "mouthwatering." In general price not justified by food quality. Service was good you figure most of the customers are just visiting and unfamiliar with local options.
The Duck and the accompanying items were overcooked. The Endive salad was fairly pedestrian. The lighting was so dark you couldn't really see the food (one extra low candle didn't really help).
Food was delicious. Bartender helped us choose a mezcal to start the night off. Bison and strip steak delicious. The chocolate custard is the best- the first bite is heaven.
They are tryinhg too hard to make the food "interesting'by adding a whole variety of vegetables and flavors which do not work together.
Can’t go wrong here. We had lunch with friends. Great food and service. Every dish was not only lovely but tasty as well. Buffalo burger was exceptional. Salad with multicolored tomatoes very flavorful. Great choice.
Just fabulous food and wonderful service Exceptional bar service too!
This is a beautiful room, one of the most attractive in Santa Fe. Service is top-notch. The food was variable.
Most of the local restaurants affecting to be 'high end' simply try to do too much with the food. Too much gloppy sauce, too many sides, too many flavors. It's like the 80's never ended here. This place is no exception, and we've been coming to Santa Fe for about 20 years. The duck confit/salad starter was outstanding. The chicken entree was quite poor featuring over-cooked chicken in an overly sweet sauce with incoherent sides. The daily special of lamb osso buco was pretty good - the shank was nicely de-fatted, the sides on the plate here were too much but in fact very good - but 45 bucks for lamb shank? Come on....So if you want to come here, do so for the ambience and service, don't expect too much of the food, and prepare to pay way too much given the overall quality. By the way, we have had exactly the same reaction in years past, so things probably don't change much here.
it was wonderful to have the chef come out and the manager greet us. We loved our starters and the chefs addition to a starter. My entree, though, lacked some spice. It was all a little blah. I did not finish the spinach mushroom enchilada. I did not think the mole added anything to the steak. Even the steak, although perfectly done, was a little blah. With a little salt and pepper I did eat the steak, however. IT would have been a 5 star except for that. My partner very much enjoyed the yellowtail, however .
Food was pretty good. Both of us ordered fish which was well accompanied but slightly overdone. Good selection of entree’s, wine and desserts. Only complaint is that a 10 top of Texans decided it was ok to bring their screaming 2 year olds to a fine dining establishment.
The food was amazing and the service was fabulous, but the highlight was when the chef came out to thank us for dining with them and asked how our meal was. That doesn’t happen often and it’s one of those little things that turn a meal into something special.
Wonderful experience and meal!
Tried a business lunch for 4 and IOTA was perfect // Quiet and calm // Large table worked out well to look at papers, etc // As always, with Chef Peter's arrive, the meals were GREAT //
Delicious food, excellent service, lovely ambience.
Food ok for the price, but not great. Tough meat, overcooked. Noisy environment, mainly due to adjacent bar.
Best margarita that I’ve tasted in years! Our meals (sea bass) were amazing - flavors, surprise shrimp, presentation. Will definitely return!
Had restaurant week selections - salad had too much oily dressing at bottom but flavors were devine. Rest of meal(s) were terrific as was dessert. Service was ok - would have enjoyed a "warmer" interaction with servers/staff.
We had the restaurant week menu. It was delicious. The service was excellent, as was the food. It was crowded which contributed to being just a little noisy. Overall, we were very pleased with our evening there.
Total winner start to finish
Great food! Peter O’Brien is the best!
Great ahi tuna tacos: wonderful sauce, perfectly cooked tuna and the crispiest corn tacos. I asked for the appetizer size to be made to a lunch entree portion. No problem. Very good. This restaurant is a perennial favorite of mine.
Excellent! There were 7 of us and not one dish was disappointing. The ravioli and Bison short rib were amazing. The new place not to miss in Santa Fe.
Service was very attentive, food was excellent. I was very happy with the excellent service and the food was very good, very unique.
Our waitperson was minimally attentive - walked past us a couple of times to ask how we were doing but barely slowed down. We had to wave at him a few times to get a second glass of wine; dessert came only after we asked for it (we had waited a long while after we had finished our dinner and the table had been cleared), and I had to wave my credit card in the air to get him to bring our check.
The food was wonderful, and the restaurant is very pleasant and attractive. Noise level was not intrusive.
A beautiful setting in Downtown Santa Fe. We were warmly welcomed by the executive chef. Service was nicely paced and the menu offerings were creative.
Short rib with veggies was tasty
Great food, quiet, romantic, great service, wonderful anniversary dinner.
Wonderful evening. Great food. Great service. Great decor and ambiance.
We have eaten at the bar, in the restaurant, and stayed at the hotel several time. Each time the experience is pleasant, low key, sophisticated and we will return. We dined at the Anasazi on Valentine's night (our wedding anniversary) and chose the al la carte menu as it had a broader choice of lighter fare. Everything was superb. Excellent selection of appetizers and main courses, beautifully presented and delicious. An excellent wine list too.
As we arrived, there was no valet parking to be had, unless we were planning to stay there overnight. The atmosphere in the dining area was cold ( going for the millenial appeal). and the food left something to be desired. My wife returned her entree and that is something that rarely has ever happened. We have eaten at the Anasazi in the past and had better results. As a matter of fact, my wife and I were married at the Inn over 23 years ago. So, we had fond feelings for returning on Valentine's day. However, we were disappointed. To say the least, it will be some time before we return.
Another delicious, memorable evening. Thank you.
We each enjoyed the most delicious butternut squash soup and steak fajitas with hot tortillas, lots of vegetables and delicious guacamole. We also shared the raisin rice pudding with caramelized banana slices served inside a tamale wrapper and surrounded with chocolate sauce. Definitely tasty and cleverly served. The interiors of the restaurant are rustic and elegant and are just gorgeous. Our server, the other wait staff and the hostess were outstanding and attentive... definitely worth the visit.
The food was great, I thought overpriced but good. I told the manager that during our previous visit the 2nd server was more attentive then our waitress, this time both waiter n assistant we're very attentive.
Wonderful food, ambiance and service - the ideal place to celebrate my birthday. I will definitely return.
We really enjoyed a first class meal that was creative and delicious
