The Anasazi Bar has long been considered one of Santa Fe's most popular bars and is known for its Silver Coin Margaritas and classic cocktails. The bar also features a lounge area with additional seating and a dedicated tequila table. At the tequila table, guests can taste the restaurant's comprehensive collection of premium tequilas, enjoy unique tequila and food pairings. The bar and lounge features the Para Picar menu which includes a selection of small plates designed for sharing. Jesus Bas Saturday evenings from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
Wonderful evening. Great food. Great service. Great decor and ambiance.
We have eaten at the bar, in the restaurant, and stayed at the hotel several time. Each time the experience is pleasant, low key, sophisticated and we will return. We dined at the Anasazi on Valentine's night (our wedding anniversary) and chose the al la carte menu as it had a broader choice of lighter fare. Everything was superb. Excellent selection of appetizers and main courses, beautifully presented and delicious. An excellent wine list too.
As we arrived, there was no valet parking to be had, unless we were planning to stay there overnight. The atmosphere in the dining area was cold ( going for the millenial appeal). and the food left something to be desired. My wife returned her entree and that is something that rarely has ever happened. We have eaten at the Anasazi in the past and had better results. As a matter of fact, my wife and I were married at the Inn over 23 years ago. So, we had fond feelings for returning on Valentine's day. However, we were disappointed. To say the least, it will be some time before we return.
We each enjoyed the most delicious butternut squash soup and steak fajitas with hot tortillas, lots of vegetables and delicious guacamole. We also shared the raisin rice pudding with caramelized banana slices served inside a tamale wrapper and surrounded with chocolate sauce. Definitely tasty and cleverly served. The interiors of the restaurant are rustic and elegant and are just gorgeous. Our server, the other wait staff and the hostess were outstanding and attentive... definitely worth the visit.
The food was great, I thought overpriced but good. I told the manager that during our previous visit the 2nd server was more attentive then our waitress, this time both waiter n assistant we're very attentive.
Wonderful food, ambiance and service - the ideal place to celebrate my birthday. I will definitely return.
We really enjoyed a first class meal that was creative and delicious
Although Anasazi Restaurant is in a hotel, Inn of the Anasazi, it in no way resembles a "hotel restaurant". It is now, with the addition of Chef O'Brien in the ranks of Santa Fe's best dining experiences. The menu is innovative without being contrived and reflects the best of local ingredients perfectly prepared and presented. The decor is understated and muted in tone and just plain comfortable. The noise level is much lower than the typical Santa Fe restaurant making for a pleasant evening. Anasazi deserves a new look if one hasn't been there for a while. I know that we will be back soon.
Good food and great service. Nice and calm during lunch. Worth the visit.
Our small party enjoyed a wonderful experience at the Anasazi. We live in Santa Fe; so we have eaten many times at the restaurant. We are excited that the new executive chef, Peter O’Brien is now onboard. He created beautiful entries which were excellent, and the portion sizes were inline with the pricing. We had a relaxed evening in a beautiful environment. We’re looking forward to dining again with a larger group.
Surprisingly good food for a hotel restaurant. Worth a visit. Creative menue.
Lovely atmosphere, menu is creative, service was attentive and quiet for conversation.
Worth every minute for a lovely dinner!
I pointed out an overcharge for wine an apparently made someone “in the back” angry. Our server would not come back to our table. Another server handled our payment. Be prepared to be treated like you did something wrong if you find an rrror on your bill.
The service was abysmal, and the food was mediocre. They had some great appetizers, but only one person among our party of 8 liked her main course. Our waitress seemed annoyed to be at work.
Outstanding chef! Best pork chop I have ever had. Great atmosphere. Chef really cares.
We love the bartender best drinks that we have in two weeks of vacation.
Food was really good, place is very nice and cozy, service was excellent
We have eaten here many times. Tonight all 3 of us got the sea bass. It was horrible. It tasted like rubber. So disappointed
Food was very good. Service was adequate, certainly not at a “fine dining” level as the menu suggests.
The restaurant was lovely! Great atmosphere! The food was awesome! Only visiting Santa Fe but will definitely come back if we get back here again! We highly recommend it!
We have eaten many times at the Inn and have never had a bad experience with either food or service. The food is locally inspired, fresh, and always fantastic. The bar is small but well tended with great crafted cocktails. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone dining in Santa Fe!
Just an update: After our bad Christmas experience with the prix fixe menu, we went back because we know the new executive chef who just started right before the holidays. Second time, we had a fabulous meal -- starting with the octopus appetizer, followed by the absolutely perfect sea bass and lamb chops. Service, as always, was impeccable. Glad we went back!!
We ate Christmas dinner here (set price fix menu) and it was all excellent! Our family "shares", so we all tasted everything that was on the menu, all very good. Superbly prepared and seasoned, we noticed that they do not put salt and pepper on the table as it was not needed, and the presentation was beautiful.
Service was also superb. We would go again, without hesitation, and highly recommend Anasazi!
We had a lovely meal on Christmas Day! Just the right amount of food for a fixed menu.
Tasty food. Professional presentation in Southwestern atmosphere. Can get pricey.
Perfect in every way! I recommend the Chicken Nacho appetizer be warm when served. My cheese was cold and hardened to bowl. I had to cut it with my knife. The cowboy soup was outstanding with black bean steam.
Lovely place to celebrate our anniversary! It was our first time there, and it won't be our last!
Trust Chef Peter. Outstanding meals two nights in a row. Excellent service that cannot help you feel anything but very special.
We always enjoy this place. It's got a warm and cozy feel to it. the food is always good. We usually order off the bar menu and eat tapa style. Great for summer patio and people watching on the street or cozy for winter dining with it's warm decor. Good food, good wine. Good staff.
Such good food in a beautiful and attentive place! Top of the line.
The restaurant had live music that was so loud we could not hear each other talk. There was a large party of drunken women in the room that was also very loud and the quality of the food was not good. The staff also gave my wife caffeinated coffee instead of the decaf that she ordered.
We're locals so we have been to Anaszi often but we were extremely disappointed with our choices on Saturday night, especially the pasta appetizer. Really? $19 for dry pasta with absolutely no flavor. Our friends' entrees were also disappointing. Santa Fe restaurants can't depend entirely on tourists but we locals cannot recommend Anasazi restaurant to friends.
We had enjoyed many dinners at The Inn of the Anasazi while staying there. It has been 10 years & we were surprised to hear that Rosewood had purchased the property. The food was not as good as we remembered. My beet salad had a fluorescent beet puree that was weird & off-putting. Barry's Burrata salad had very little of the cheese. We did like the local Gruet sparkling wine & a Robert Sinskey red. We both had steak dishes that were slightly overdone. If we ordered dessert I don't remember it. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Santa Fe! I hope that they improve this one soon.
This is the worse meal I’ve had all week, and very expensive. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, spa, service personnel, but this meal was horrible. Everything was cold, if you didn’t look at the ham and turkey you couldn’t tell then apart. The best part was the wine and cheese.
The food did look good though.
The ambiance is stunning but for the money the food lacks a bit creativity.
We stayed at the hotel & went here late! Food, service & ambiance was great! The entertainment was an excellent addition! Pulpo appetizer & pumpkin ravioli were outstanding!
Ambience is great, food is really ok on some things, just average on others. Service seems to disappear for long stretches and they had lots to say about mishaps when they occurred that were defensive; for a $200 meal you elect them all better.
Service was slow, but food is always great. The sweet potato/pumpkin ravioli was exceptional.
Our dinner was excellent, service wa excellent. As out of towers, It’s been a few years since we’ve been here. They’ve obviously remodeled and it’s beautiful , but I feel they’ve lost some of the coziness they used to have. But it was still delicious!
Food was excellent in taste and appearance. Wait staff very attentive. Most artistic looking fajitas ever for me
