We made a reservation but still had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. The food was well worth the wait! I had the blue cornmeal waffle stack and loved it!
Best brunch in town.
Excellent ambience and service! Several great food options and very good food!
The service was really off. The server was friendly, but had little knowledge of the bar menu and was unable to answer food menu questions without checking with others. She also wasn’t very attentive and she messed up our bill.
Our server, Jen, was awesome. She was very attentive and was extremely patient with our group (and the bottles of wine that we brought in).
We were on our way to the restaurant in 10 minutes and tell our reservation when we called to request the patio, and we got there we were very pleased and surprised that your staff have moved the table to the patio
We loved the new items on the menu! The Chicken Pot Roast was a treat.
Great new menu
I met my boyfriend here for lunch one day the food was great the atmosphere was really good and I really enjoyed it. I would definitely eat here again.
Server was amazing and very accommodating for the friend with 18 allergies.
This is a very good restaurant which is a part of a local food group. The food is very good, the service is great and the menu is varied. It has lately become one of our favorite places. Highly recommended!
First of all there is no point in even making a reservation on Open Table with this restaurant because even the manager couldn't find my reservation despite the fact I had an emailed confirmation from Open Table. After that, you would think she would have made sure we were well taken care of. We were seated, but were not greeted at all by a waiter for 10 minutes before we decided to leave. More than half of the restaurant was empty and there were waiters standing around doing nothing. When I tried to flag the nearest waiter down he refused to look at me and then proceeded to go chat with the bar tender. No waiter even came up to us as we were walking out. I guess they weren't interested in our business. We had come hungry, which is why we left after not being served. I can't imagine why they wouldn't be interested in our business, except that we are Black Americans. If not that, maybe they just don't like having customers. They can't claim they didn't see us. Other people were being served. It is a shame because we had wanted to support a local business.
The service was very slow. The metal chairs are uncomfortably loud when moved on the concrete floor. The menu is limited, and two of our three entrees were lackluster.
I had the Napa salad w/ salmon which was incredible. Best salad ever and the salmon was cooked to perfection!
My daughter had the eggs Benedict with salmon & pancakes...she devoured it.
Our waitress was very attentive; the atmosphere & noise level were enjoyable.
We wish you were in south Leawood!
Our visit to An Urban Table was a disaster! If everything had been normal, I would've given this restaurant 4-5 stars! I must say that their food actually tastes really good, but it was served at room temperature, instead of hot! Our waitress was very nice, but apparently overworked. The place was moderately crowded, and some of her tables were of five or more. Ultimately, the manager came to our table and comped our entire meal! We didn't expect that, but it was a nice gesture! It seems their kitchen and food runners need retraining to serve food as it's ready!
Brunch post-yoga with my mom was very good! Looking forward to going back.
I was concerned as we pulled up to restaurant on a Saturday eve at 7 pm. Didn’t seem busy at all.
Our sever was excellent. Our food and beverage were also very good. Restaurant itself was a tad bit stuffy. A/c should have been a bit lower but overrated great experience.
Bread and butter concepts are always an easy decision. Great food and wait staff!!
Poor service. Had to remind the waiter several times to bring side dishes. Had to go to the bar to ask for silverware.
YOU NEED TO PLACE RUBBER COVERS ON THE FEET OF YOUR TOO NOISY CHAIRS. might be the reason your patronage has fallen off! Need to hear one another converse over good food❗️❗️❗️
Terrible service and not able to adjust menu to meet dietary needs.
Service was very slow - with that it was Labor Day and I don't believe the they were prepared for the amount of people that came to eat that day. I was in no hurry but if you were there for a quick bite you may have gotten annoyed.
The food was fantastic and the Bloody Marie was to die for! Reasonably priced for the amount of food that was served.
Good for anyone who might have allergies they will make dishes work for you!
It was great! Great food and great service!
We’ve eaten here for years, food is always good. Currently not impressed with the new menu. I miss my favorites.
Water glass refilled once, sat empty nearly the entire meal. Ordered biscuits and gravy, biscuits were extremely hard and there was barely enough gravy to cover the outside of the biscuits. Waitress called me “baby”, not expecting/wanting a college bar type of atmosphere here.
I have always had great food at Urban Table so I was surprised to get a dish that was almost inedible. The egg white omelette had a very bad flavor and texture. Using whole eggs would have been a better choice. Great service and atmosphere. Just avoid the egg white omelette.
As always everything is perfection. They did change the chicken salad recipe and not one of my favorites for now....oh well. Everything else was fabulous. First time enjoying the trout. Mmmmm.
So sad about this experience as I normally love this place. Service was awful and had to wait for every step of the dining experience. Another server ended up taking our order after noticing it had been some time. In addition after waiting for our drinks the coffee was luke warm. Probably won’t rave about this place as I had in the past.
The food was good, but the service was awful. We waited 45 minutes for our food and never did get a side dish that we ordered. We even had to tell them to take it off our bill.
Was there for brunch and the food was delicious! I loved all of their menu choices - it was hard to decide what to get. Would definitely go back again.
Service was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious as always.
Been here several times. The food is always interesting and good. The only thing that could have been slightly better was teh chicken meatballs. They were not very moist, but other than that the bruschetta, burrata balls, salads, salmon etc was all cooked perfectly. I love that the menu always is changing as well. Keeps it intersting! I love the atmostphere and set up of this restaurant as well.
Great father-daughter date!
It was our daughter’s birthday and the staff was most engaging and really took care of our every wish while we enjoyed a leisurely brunch. Food, as always, is fantastic! It’s a must go in my book😀
This visit was not very good unlike the past visits. My fish dish was perhaps too late g in oven and came out very dry. Did not want to make scene in front of my date, so stomached it. It’s unfortunate as in my previous visits the food was very good. The waiter — not very professional.
Service was slightly lacking. Not much in the line of desserts. But ALL of our food was absolutely delicious!
Best brunch in town! Service is consistently wonderful and food is amazing!
Came for dinner with my family, including two kids under ten. The kids menu is great. The adult menu is decent. I’d like to try it again for brunch.
A bit noisy, hard to hear each other. Good salads. Great service!
My girlfriends and I had a great time at Urban Table. Looking forward to going back.
