We loved everything about Amuse from the minute we walked in. David greeted us with Prosecco. We than dabbled with the potted chicken, black pepper popcorn, charcuterie plate (awesome goat cheese), beet hummus and foie gras. Entrees includes soft shells, quail and much more. Topped off with Brie ice cream. Hari can turn ANYTHING into ice cream.. Hari is truly a culinary artist. One of a kind!! Wish we could get here more often, but please visit with an open mind and you won’t be disappointed. How could I forget to mention, the drink list is an amazing one-of-a kind at reasonable prices. You will be pleasantly surprised😊 DO NOT MISS!!

Second time, four years or so apart and it remains superb.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was great with variety of options and vegan modifications available. Hummus was fabulous! Beware, kids’ portion of pasta is huge, but not a problem for us. Took leftovers back to the hotel. Great wine and beer list. Casual but upscale environment, meaning nice but ok to have young kids and not feel like you’re disturbing a quiet restaurant. Wonderful local spot with great food and atmosphere for those visiting the area.

The food was tasty and very creative, excellent wine list. However, we had to wait 45 mintues after we were seated to order our appetizers, I cannot give this restaurant a good review. If you can't take an order in a timely manner, how about giving the table a complementary order of your $3 popcorn appetizer? That would have gone a long way! I will not be back any time soon.
This was our second visit to a(Muse.) and will not be our last. We are appreciative that our son, Jake, and his finacee, Amanda, took us on our first visit. Service was great by Billy. The food was outstanding. Generous portions of everything. My wife had bass and I had steak. Very, very good. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

My dining partner and I had the chef’s tasting menu for my birthday dinner, and everything was creative and just delicious. Our server Hannah was delightful and accommodating and the drinks were fabulous as well (my dining partner got the wine pairings and I had cocktails). I cannot think of a better way to spend my special evening in Rehoboth than at amuse.

We Had the 5 tasting dinner. Everything was first class and we were comped a steak tartare in the beginning so in was a 6 tasting. Food was just outstanding. Dinner was 2.5 hours which we thought was very good and we were not rushed. Robin is a great waitress and very knowledgeable about the food prepared. Restaurant is a little noisy but not unbearable. Seating was uncomfortable for that long of a period and they should consider cushioned chairs.
Great relaxed/rustic/distressed wood/cool vibe and fun food and cocktail menu. They were extremely busy (Saturday night) and ran out of several items on the menu. The waiter was uncertain of answers to a few of our questions (wine descriptions, what the seasonal vegetable was, etc) and it took at least 20 minutes for us to get our cocktails. The food was decent. It wasn't as flavorful as we had hoped (Rockfish and tuna) but it was good.
We were not satisfied with our experience. My cocktail was not right. When I brought this to the attention of our server he stated "we just have a list of ingredients for the drinks, not the proportions. I saw the bartender pouring lots of absinthe in your cocktail. When I'm tending bar I just put a very small amount." There was no apology and no offer to make it right. After the appetizer we asked for the shared plates to be taken away. The reply "I didn't want to put your utensils on the bare table." Interesting in such a place that the server isn't taught to bring fresh flatware for the next course. Water glasses weren't refilled. My two dishes, a simple salad and the linguine with clams, were tasty but highly over salted. The server also didn't bring a small bowl for the discarded clam shells. Too many missteps. Can't recommend.
Vegetarians looking for creative, wholesome food should put Amuse on their list of Rehoboth Beach favorites. Although the menu doesn’t alway list vegetarian options, the chef is more than accommodating and will prepare the best vegetarian meal you have ever eaten in a restaurant. I explained it this way to my dining partner: “This meal reflects the cook’s deep reverence for vegetables: their colors, textures and complex flavors.” Although it’s not marketed for its vegetarian fare, AMUSE is the best vegetarian restaurant in Rehoboth.
This restaurant has never disappointed. We go every year we are on vacation and it is one of the best meals I have all year.
What a great time! Love the decor and ease of making a reservation. Our waiter, Danny, was attentive, personable and intuitive. The food was delicious! We loved the menu as we had two 13-year-olds with us and there was something for everyone. I would have given the food five stars, except the crab cakes were not great. We’re from the eastern shore of Maryland and are used to lump, backfin with very little filler. With a few tweaks, the crab cakes could easily be improved. Otherwise, we loved our first time at a(Muse), and will definitely make this a regular stop on our annual trek to Rehoboth!! 🌟❤️🌭⚡️
Enjoyed a wonderful meal with our family at a(muse) while on vacation. The restaurant was not full, so it was relatively quiet and great for conversation. The food was wonderful. It was made to order and fresh. Our waitress and the kitchen were very open to working with us to find vegan options. Try several of the starters with the bespoke cocktails. They were great.

I just had the most beautiful birthday meal at a(muse). I ordered the CHef's tasting menu and since my husband has celiac disease, Chef Hari made sure every course was gluten free. It was DIVINE. I can't keep track of the deliciousness... we started with 2 amuse bouches, then scallops with snap peas and a fermented garlic sauce I wanted to drink. Next was light as air gnocchi with wild mushrooms, soft shell crab with black mint and fabulous veggies, locally grown and grass fed prime rib with a sauce that was to die for, and ending with a chocolate ganache cake and rhubarb jam that I would have sworn was made with gluten, it was SO decadent. This restaurant is the best in Rehoboth. The food is not only inventive, it's always the highest quality and made with love.
The newest infusions were amazing! Once i got home I grabbed some rhubarb from the garden and sliced it into vodka. The bar always exceeds expectations. Food is awesome too!

Food is excellent, staff is always great. Don't be afraid to try some of the off the wall items, the chef and his team know what they are doing. Brie ice cream is the best ice cream.
I was visiting for the weekend celebrating my birthday and the restaurant was pretty empty, I suppose being early in the season still. The restaurant was pretty casual but the food I think is more upscale and everything we had was delicious. There were seemingly some kitchen issues which heavily delayed some of our food though. The only other big disappointment was that our special occasion we included in the reservation notes was not acknowledged by either the host or server.
Well encompassing menu with thoughtful creations, executed with due respect provided to the ingredients. Offerings showcase a variety of techniques that surprise in their applications and provide a playful aspect of whimsy in the meal. Everyone there is friendly and the jovial ambiance comes across as a dinner party among friends and you are the guest of honor. 10/10 and I look forward to see what they will provide next year.
Most creative menu in Rehoboth. I've never had a meal that was not outstanding. The wait staff is both personable and knowledgeable andI hope this place can continue to stay off the radar so that I can pop in and enjoy a great meal whenever I want to.

They were out of our first choice in wine and an entree. They recovered with meeting the price on a different bottle of wine. Service was excellent.

We visit Rehoboth every year for a week in the off season and a(muse) has always been one of our absolute favorites. I was a bit apprehensive this year because last year we had a very disappointing experience, which I had hopefully chalked that up to a fluke, so we were eager to try again. Well we were not disappointed this time! The food was excellent! Extremely creative and fresh. Our server Robin was terrific and a delightful person! Very knowledgeable and steered us toward two appetizers that we may not have tried otherwise. They were the deviled egg, and the marinated olives with machego cheese. Both were divine and enough to share..a perfect amount for a light appetizer. My husband had the soft shell appetizer as an entree and I had the scallops with hen of the woods mushrooms. The scallops were perfection and if you love mushrooms like I do I highly recommend!! The crabs were delicious as well accompanied by an unusual twist on cole slaw.
a(muse) continues to be the most creative dining in Rehoboth Beach. Their menu has expanded and now includes more items one might expect to see other places (chicken wings, pimento cheese toast, pastas) but their preparation far exceeds any other kitchen in the area. It is a must for foodies and others who just enjoy a great meal.
My niece was in town and wanted to take her somewhere special. Her and I did the chef tasting, but they complained because only the 2 out of 3 of us wanted the chefs tasting. My partner is not into the fancy dinners. Not sure why they gave us a hard time. If my partner was sitting at the bar he could have ordered whatever he wanted, so I’m don’t understand why this is such an issue. They agreed to serve us and overall the experience was great! The chefs tasting with wine pairing was $113 per person, and it was worth it!

The tasting menu was amazing. My mom thought it might be the best meal she’s ever had. Five courses would be enough. Seven courses is decadent and worth it.
