Whether celebrating a special occasion with family and friends or hosting a corporate event, aMuse can accommodate all of your special event needs.
View Private Dining DetailsI loved it there but somewhat annoyed that they couldn’t give me a king fed when the reservation was made 3 months ago. Their reasoning was since it was discounted they give the rooms no one wants essentially.
Really more of a hotel lobby than an actual restaurant. It is very confusing, the food is good but then again they did not have their tagliatelle and had to serve cheese ravioli instead?? At the same time, they did have a sommelier. They really need to separate the restaurant from the hotel lobby and up the ambience, they way it is set up now just doesn't work.
Good food, service and priced right. Would recommend new or fixed Bathroom doors.
Food was excellent, but the DJ was too loud marring (for this old man) an elegant meal in an elegant space
We were there during the Eagles parade but it was not crowded. In fact, most of the time we were the only table in our section. Over 20 minutes to get first drink and to place order. Daughter served wrong drink, potatoes cold on one plate, eggs Benedict yolks hard. Brought my husband a drink they said was on house and it was on the bill. Bathrooms had no toilet paper. Great atmosphere and location, workers were very nice but that’s about it.
Horrible service. They didn't get our order right and took over 30 min to get our food.
Nice decor though.
Food was lackluster at best.
The shrimp in the pasta dish was fine but the other ingredients were bland. The tuna Tatar was large tasteless chunks with not much to accompany it.
Delicious tuna tartare & cocktails, steak was not the best quality and underdone. Overall a good meal, but probably would not go again.
My date had wanted to try French so I chose aMuse. This was both our first time there and great experience to remember.
A very nice place for dinner. We went during restaurant week, and the service and food were excellent. A good place for a special occasion.
Everything we ordered was phenomenal!
Very disappointed. Very small and empty. Some of the items were very salty and a couple next to us returned their meal because it was too salty. We were lucky that ours was okay. They were very accommodating to my needs and at times had to ask for items instead of being asked Service not bad but could have been more attentive due to the limited tables and customers. We tried it for restaurant week We were eating and the bar is right next to the small dining area. This is more of a small breakfast nook for people staying in the hotel.
Overall great. DJ with the techno club music did not fit this environment and was quite loud.
We had been here before on two separate occasions and the food was excellent. Perhaps there had been a change in chefs but the food on this occasion, same as we had on prior occasions, was at best average.
Went for restaurant week and let my 16 year old niece select the restaurant. I ended up being very happy with her choice. The food was amazing and my pear martini as delicious. Loved the decor and service was great.
Mediocre food
Awesome time on NYE! Food was amazing and filling, the service was a little bad but the restaurant was packed so I understood completely. Definitely recommend!
Never again. Drinks, poorly made. Wasn't asked if I needed a drink until after being there for over an hour. It was not crowded. Low key new year's met negligence.
Poor service. Shrimp with pasta was tasteless. Shrimp tasted bad
We've been to Amuse many times and have always enjoyed it immensely. We were just there with many friends for Thanksgiving dinner. It was spectacular! Not sure what happened New Year's Eve but we may need to find a new place for Thanksgiving dinner this year. That will be sad since it has been our tradition for the last 6 or more years.
Food was overpriced and took way too long to be served. Server was nice. Manager was also. Food was average.
The place was empty other than our table of six and one other table of three. Now we know why. Two of our six meals were cold or not as ordered. The other meals were mediocre at best. The wait staff was friendly but disappeared at great lengths. Simple requested items (grated cheese for kids’ pasta, bread, etc) took forever to get. They did replace a steak that was cooked wrong, but by the time the replacement steak arrived, everyone else had long since finished their meals. They did remove that item from the bill, and were apologetic, but it was a bust of a night and it was pricey to boot.
Great food, drinks and service.
Delicious ravioli, strong and flavorful Old Fashioned and cozy, candle-lit vibes made for a great first trip to Philly.
Small and not like the pictures - part of the lobby bar.
Reading the reviews it seemed like people either loved or hated this place - nothing much in between. We LOVED it! I was shocked on a Saturday evening to be the ONLY couple in the restaurant! There were wedding receptions in another room but NO ONE in the dining room. We started with the fresh seafood tower - perfect. I had the ricotta ravioli - absolutley delicious (it got a bad review from someone else) My husband had the classic pizza - again delicious and creative! The staff was delightful. The smoked cocktail: Wisp of Smoke Boulevardier was just as I had hoped. The apple tatin with vanilla bean gelato was the perfect ending! Location might be a block or so off the popular streets but SO worth a few blocks walk. I don't get it! Any negative reviews of this establishment seem completely unfounded.
Excellent all around. Unique menu and presentation.
Service was slow, food was ok but the kitchen struggled with accommodating a lactose intolerant diner.
Amazing cocktails! The smoke-scented glasses add a whole other dimension to their drinks. Great food too! A bit small in the dining area I was seated in, but the ambiance of the bar looked really cool.
Wanted to love this place but was really disappointed. I didn't finish most of my food including creme brûlée and that's not typical for me😊. Other reviewers were either super positive or super negative so I wonder if they have two chefs and I got the bleh one.
I ate at aMuse for Restaurant Week and my experience was astounding. The food was beyond delicious, the staff was so warm and welcoming, and the decor was sexy and elegant.
There is so much unrealized potential here. Beautiful high ceiling, gorgeous wood paneled walls. But: tables like Denny's, cheap ugly terrazzo floor, horrible lighting. The steak was good, the blue bernaise sauce was just weird. Service was decent, and the smoked Manhattan was great ! Needs work.
This was one of my parties least favorite restaurants for Restaurant Week. I order the Mac and Cheese with the Lump Crab meat. My dish came with NO Lump Crab meat. I had to send back. I was giving the same dish with a Little bit of crab meat. Should not have been consider as a main dish. This was a side dish. To top off the meal I got the mini Éclairs. They were TINY Éclairs. My mother in-law did not like any of her food either. We will not come back to this restaurants.
Went for lunch at restaurant week!
We went there to celebrate my birthday during Restaurant week. The restaurant is located in a hallway of the Méridien hotel. It looks like a lounge, rather than a legit restaurant.
We ordered three prix fixe menus consisting of French onion soup, steak frites, and tarte tatin for dessert. The soup was very salty, the steak had some gravy that we never asked for. The desserts were just ok.
I had also asked for a cafe latte to go with a dessert. The coffee never came after 10 minutes so I decided to foregorhe coffee. Then came the bill. They had charged us for the three additional soups on top of the price for each menu! By this time, I just wanted to get out of there- but had to wait again for a copy of the receipt!
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for any celebration. It is just a lounge-based bar, maybe just good for tapas.
Went on a date here. Would definitely go back for another date or a girl's night out.
Happy hour was great with a very accommodating young lady as bartender and the beautiful atmosphere. The added touch was a great DJ with music that was entertaining, but not intrusive to conversations. Dinner: food was very good, but our waiter was a bit disorganized. I would definitely go again.
I arrived a few minutes early for my 6:30pm reservation and was warmly met by the greeters who opened very door for me. The hostess was equally charming.
The waiter was very nice and accommodating so we did not complain about the wait for bread and out meals to hit the table. The bar tender experimented until he made me a drink that I could tolerate.
I think there is a happy hour as people were crowded around the bar and there was a DJ. However the music did not spill over into the dining area and we were able to comfortably converse.
The bathrooms were awesome, red tiles with the sink in the same cubicle as the toilet.
I don't have pictures as my temporary phone took crappy pictures.
Food was good except the ravioli. It had no flavor and no sauce. Ravioli could have been stuffed with more ricotta for what we paid.
The food is awesome with a super friendly staff! More than the food it was the staff that made the experience worth the visit!
