   I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the restaurant. There is a dyson stick vacuum at the Hostesses podium, yet there was no effort using it on the dirty floors and black area mats. I had a window seat with a filthy windowsill. I could clearly see dust and grime on the ledge leading downstairs to the restrooms. The table next to me has to be re-cleaned at the request of the next guest being seated there. I was taught when cleaning a table that all items should be removed so a proper wipe down can occur. Also, all items should be wiped before returning to the table. This includes sticky maple syrup bottles. The chairs and floors should be cleaned when needed prior to new guests being seated. The lack of cleanliness is a disgrace to this historical restaurant. I have been coming here for over 40 years and doubt I will be back soon.

   Easter brunch is always delicious and a great value. It is a tradition for us!

   We had a great time. The waitress was very personable, food was delicious, quantities perfect, and the prices very reasonable. The restaurant is keeping up its well established values and service

   Was ok service with waitress being nice and not her fault but filet was way too over cooked for two people and no flavor on food for being a 180$ bill definitely wouldn’t recommend here for food.

   Food was surprisingly good. Waitress was super. Prices were very reasonable. Plenty of parking. I’ll be going back for sure. Too small issues. It’s cold in the dining room , dress warm and I wish the music selection was a little better.

   Always great food, awesome service, and they even moved our table on a busy Sunday bc I forgot to mention I had my 11 month old. Just so kind and accommodating always! Food A+!

   I used to live in Southie and I would to go Amrheins all the time. I remember it was affordable esp for lunch had great drinks and good food. I want back recently and it was just as good as i remember. I had a Reuben w/sweet potato fries and a pear martini. It hit the spot! I was even happier with the bill. I’d highly recons this place!

   We got hung up in traffic and were way late. The hostess was very accommodating and our waitress served us up quickly and pleasantly. Food was solid. My only gripe was an almost undrinkable Cosmo, no lime just a double dose of triple sec that made it into cranberry syrup. We patched it up and made it to our show with time to spare. Couple of regulars at the bar, families dining together, a baby shower in the adjacent dining room. Obvious to see why this place is a neighborhood favorite for many years.

   Good, solid bistro fare, great service and drinks. Street parking, and easy access via the MBTA.

    We had a great brunch. Food and service were both excellent. Our server recommended some items that were wonderful. I'll definitely go back.
