Unassuming in hotel lobby but my scallops were outstanding and the kale/spring mix and beet salad was super.
Our service from both the bartender, Scott, and our server, Stephanie, was phenomenal. We had never been to Amp 150 before, but decided to try it out for our anniversary dinner. The food was great, as were the drinks, and the service was top-notch. We will certainly be back again.
We come back every year for my birthday so we can have the chefs choice dinner. I was very disappointed to learn that it was taken off the menu. The food that we picked was very delicious but we missed the excitement of the unknown from the chefs menu created.
We had Stephanie as our hostess and this was actually the second time She waited on us. Her knowledge, understanding and way was people was a delight. She always makes the experience even better. She helped us pick our wine for everything we ordered and gave suggestions on the new menu. I am not sure we would have even stayed and tried the new menu if it wasn’t for her.
Highly recommend to try their pork chops.
We've eaten here a number of times and the food is always fantastic! Don't let the fact that this is a restaurant in a hotel fool you - the food is terrific!
The service was some of the best I've experienced. We made a last minute reservation for Valentine's Day and weren't expecting too much. Everyone was so attentive and friendly and the food was an unexpected pleasure. We will go again.
AMP 150 has never disappointed us and were glad we chose this for this year's Valentines dinner. The staff is well informed of menu details. The menu and daily specials are creative, well prepared, and presented. Its definitely worth the drive as this is so much more than a typical hotel restaurant.
Food was excellent. Not what you would expect at a hotel near the airport. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Scallops were done to perfection and braised short ribs were very tender and tasty. We will be going back.
My wife and I came to the restaurant for my birthday. Started out with a cocktail and my wife had a beer. Our waitress suggested a beer to my wife and see loved it.
The food was outstanding. I had the pork porterhouse and my wife had the scallops. We had the mussels as a starter and they where great.
We will be back again soon.
Better than it was a year ago. Menu has something for everyone. Still a good place to go after an event at the IX Center.
Very good!! Waitstaff was excellent & knowledgeable about the menu. We will be back & bring more friends.
Love this place. The food is fantastic, the recipes are unique, and if you're not extremely hungry, they have small plates and items to share. Food/service absolutely wonderful!
AMP 150 has good entrees plus many small plates and snacks that can be shared or put together for a meal. Right off the I-71 ramp, it's easy to get to and makes for a quick stop if necessary. Wines are available in 3, 6, and 9 oz. pours, but the list is standard and prices are high.
Went on New Year Eve with 2 other couples. Ambiance was quiet, a little too quiet for New Year's Eve. Overall food, wine and service was very good.
our family treated us to a meal out as we were alone for Christmas. Amp 150 was a great place to celebrate. Choice of Christmas menu or al a carte. Our Food choices were great and the complimentary dessert was awesome. Server was wonderful. All in all a great date
This was my second visit to AMP 150. Delicious and cozy!
Went there for Christmas dinner. Nice and quiet given the day and time (1PM). Food was done well and service was at the right speed.
1) on a holiday the main menu should have started sooner than 1PM.
2) The ice cream didn't initially come with the cake dessert and we had to ask for it.
Thank you very much- good food and good service when we went
Had a good salad with grilled chicken breast. Good service.
Thanksgiving third year in a row. Food was delicious and our Server- Stephanie made our holiday fun and enjoyable. Thanks
The restaurant is in the airport Marriott and so is convenient for anyone flying in or out. Although the main restaurant was closed for lunch, the full menu was available in the lounge. The food was good if a bit pricy but not ridiculously so, and the pick two thirteen dollar lunch deal is a bargain.
Our food was delicious and hot! Everything looked appealing and smelled wonderful! I had the vegetarian gnocchi which was very flavorful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Not just for special occasions. Affordable.
The food and service was great, as per all of our previous visits. Sonya's attention to detail was spot on. The ONLY disappointment was the absence of the Mussels on the menu. There is also a concern that the "Farm to Table" aspect as sorely missing.
We've been at Amp 150 thru Four chefs and still keep coming. We've traveled the USA and Amp 150 has the Best Mussels anywhere!
Please bring them back!
Food was spectacular, drinks and wine list were good, service was ample. But where this place falls short is the location. Right off the main lobby of the Marriott Hotel.
So while you're sharing a meal with family and friends, here comes the 30 people from a wedding reception to the bar right next to restaurant.
And there's little Johnny with his bathing suit on crying with mom because he has to get out of the pool and they made a stop at the front desk.
Put this restaurant in the right location and you've got it made.
Leave it here and I'm not going back.
Stephanie was professional and caring
The food was bland and disappointing. The server told us they had a new chef and sous chef. The food that we had heard so much about had markedly changed with the new staff. Just was not special or up to the past reviews.
We enjoyed our dinner and the service was great . I appreciated the vegan and vegetarian options which is often hard to find .
AMP 150 was recommended for the great food and service to us. We didn't get either one of those. The server, while knowledgeable, could have been more attentive and the service was a little slow - we were one of only a couple of tables that we could see. The starters that we ordered were good, yet unoriginal. I think the biggest disappointment was the entrée of scallops that my colleague and I ordered. For $25 we received 3 scallops on the plate. While the plate looked quite beautiful, the portion was completely under satisfying. I appreciated that the server offered a complimentary dessert, however I don't normally eat dessert and would have been more satisfied with a filling dinner.
We are in the Cleveland only a few months each year and make sure we dine at AMP150 at least once each visit. The food is excellent and the service is always exceptional. We look forward to our next visit.
First time here and it was a very good experience. Our server, Stephanie, was very friendly and knew everything about the menu. Her recommendations were very much appreciated. The entree's were very good and flavorful. Deserts were ok but nothing spectacular. The wine selection was nice but a little on the expensive side. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and the next time we are on the far west side of cleveland we will go back!
I enjoy the food here, especially the tasting menu. That is the reason I go here. I like the element of surprise and the different courses. The chef is very creative here.
Food was good, Stephanie our server was excellent!!
We were not impressed at all. I selected this restaurant because it was close to the airport and got decent reviews. We were meeting friends for brunch before they left to go back to Florida.
The waiter was not on top of things at all. We had to ask for a menu because he assumed we were going to eat the buffet. They he said he didn't think we could order from the menu but would ask his boss. About 10 minutes later he came back with a breakfast menu. Two of us were interested in lunch so we had to ask about getting a lunch menu. He again took some time to come back. Then when the food came, my and my husband's omelet was extremely small (was supposed to be three eggs), and the hash browns were under cooked and portion was also extremely small. The toast was not toasted. Our other friends were not impressed by the small portions either. The waiter was aloof during our whole visit. Would not recommend.
We have gone a number of times to get the tasting menu; this time was be our last. I don't know what happened to this place, but it's not what it used to be. The thing hat that this place special has left.
The food was really good. Was not aware that the restaurant was in a hotel until we arrived.
Nice restaurant in the Marriot Hotel. Great for customer meetings and or a casual lunch. Very warm and welcoming and a very nice menu from sandwiches to very good salads. A great choice if u are in the area.
Did the tasting menu. Everything was very good, but all straight from the menu. My usual experience is the kitchen takes this as an opportunity to show off a bit, so that was surprising. Still worth it, but didn't blow my mind.
I have left positive reviews over the last several years and considered this location a hidden treasure. Not this time. I'm not one that adds salt but everything I ordered was prepared without even a dash of salt in its preparation. French onion soup arrived but no soup spoon. Finally got up and asked someone for a spoon. Soup was strangely bland I could not eat it even adding salt and pepper. Who adds salt to French onion and the lamb meatballs over risotto did not have a grain of salt in its preparation. Another family member ordered steak and was shocked at such a small portion finally came. Had to ask for coffee and bread and butter. The kids meal was fine. They were really having an off day. Very disappointing since we specifically went there to enjoy a pleasant family meal.
Since we went for the Mother's Day brunch, I expected to pay more and was not disappointed. However, the quality of the food was very mediocre and I was a bit unnerved by the 20% tip added to the bill. While our waitress was very good, all she had to do was bring us water and coffee, and I don't consider the minimal service provided worth a tip of that size. And BTW, I always tip 20% no matter where I eat. It was disappointing for a Marriott establishment.
