We came an hour early on accident and they were able to accommodate our large group an hour early. The bottomless mimosas were great and all of the food was delicious.
Very friendly from the moment we walked in. Neighborhood feel with delicious food. Emily took great care of us. Can't wait to go back in Summer for the rooftop.
Overall this was a very nice evening. I went there for a post-Valentine's Day celebration with my wife, and wanted the evening to be special. Based on the prices and online pictures, I got a slightly skewed impression about the dining environment; it was a little more casual than I had hoped. As it turned out, we had actually eaten here before on the rooftop - overall the ambiance is both upstairs and downstairs is nice, but just not super romantic like I had hoped. We were originally seated at a small table in the back room which would have been adequate, but what saved the evening was when we were moved to a more romantic alcove for two (there is only one of them, so ask for this in advance). Great uptown location. Good food.
My family and I had an amazing experience! The waiter was kind an friendly. The food was wonderful! And since it was my brothers 21st Birthday they brought out a dessert and the house payed for our entire meal!
My wife and I went out on a date night. The gentlemen who was The host was great and very inviting using my name like we were close friends. The food was amazing. My wife had The lamb and risotto and I had the lobster ravioli with a lobster cream sauce and tail of lobster. The atmosphere was great had an intimate setting. Will definitely go back again.

We've been to Amore Uptown before and have always had a great experience, but this was not one of them. They had their Valentines Day 4 course special with a limited menu. When we were seated we felt like we were being processed through for expedience not experience. They had a full house as most restaurants on Valentines day and seemed to be trying to hurry us along with our selections. This did let up as the restaurant slowed down. My date ordered the New York strip steak med-rare and I the mushroom passion pasta. The steak came out well-done. While the waitress tried to correct the issue it seemed the chef had no experience cooking a steak and it was one of the poorest quality cuts we've ever had at a "nicer" restaurant. My pasta was fairly good. There was no option to order a la carte as we had on a previous V-day experience. All in all we've usually had good meals and good service at Amore and will probably return, but likely not on a special/busy night as this.
Went for Valentine’s Day and we had a blast! Food was excellent and a great price considering the day, would definitely come back here.
We went on Valentine's Day, so the menu was fixed. The food selection was decent, though not all items were of the best quality. The steak entree option, in particular, left much to be desired.
It was a bit loud. Sitting by the stairs was undesirable.
Food was excellent. The lobster ravioli was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten.
We were so happy to get a reservation on the night of the City of Lakes Luminary Loppet. And being the adventurous sorts, we skied across Lake of the Isles after helping light some of the sculptures and we were greeted with a warm welcome and a kind manger who took our skis down to his office for safe keeping during our dinner! There are still good people in this world!
Our server was patient, fun and helpful, knew her stuff and helped with our food and beverage decisions. She didn't rush us and we were efficiently served yummy, hot food and delicious wine that kept us warm the rest of the night. The softly falling snow outside the window made for a picture perfect setting. We felt like we were in a little European town. My photo doesn't show the snow falling but you can see it dusting everything outside.
Thanks Amore Uptown for being a warm and bright spot in a very fun evening!
Great food and service. Good gluten free options.
