Amity Hall Ratings and Reviews
We got together for my sister's 21st birthday. The place was live, and the music was very diverse. Our server started out very nice, and turned out to be rude prior to our wings and fries being served. She wasn't very attentive, didn't clean our table, and we had to ask for the same things multiple times. Because we tried to make the best out of it, we had a great time overall but think the staff can improve on hospitality.
By the the best burgers and buffalo we have had in a VERY long time! We would 100% recommend those menu items! The tables were small and the chairs were not comfortable but you can't really expect more from a pub. We were seated right by the bar and could see our beers sitting on the bar waiting to be brought to us by our server but she is very obviously in no rush to bring them to us. It got to the point we actually had to ask the waitress to bring them over. Overall would highly recommend if your are just looking for good bar food.
Tried Amity Hall out of the blue based on its location and was not disappointed. Great, laid-back bar atmosphere with awesome beer on draft and killer food. My partner and I shared the cheese curds, macaroni and cheese, and eggplant sandwich. All were delicious and vegetarian friendly. I would definitely go back.
Nice ambiance for brunch. Lighting was cool. Beer walls were neat. Nice menu choices. Everyone loved their meals except the potatoes were kinda soggy. I liked them but my friends didn't. Everyone loved the eggs and the mimosas and bloody's were on point. Highlight was the server, Alyssa (I think), incredible service. Fast and witty.
Food was amazing for bar food and our waitress was great for having to wait on the entire floor (at least it seemed that way to us). No point in making a reservation. They'll stick you at the smallest table possible because there are supposedly other big party reservations coming in later. When did they come in? Who knows. We were the only people eating food and all the larger tables still had the same college kids drinking by the time we left. The hostess told us we could happily go to their sister bar if we weren't happy there. Again, what was the point of having reservations then? At least I got the Open Table points.
The only good thing about this restaurant is the bottomless mimosa special on Saturday and Sunday. I've gone here several times hoping the service was just off that day. But no it's just simply not good - the food is not pleasant and the staff is not very friendly nor sympathetic. Spend your money elsewhere where the manager actually cares about her customers being happy. Will NOT go back!
We came here for brunch on Sunday (10/25) and we ended up staying all day watching football. The bottomless brunch option was great, the service was even better despite being under staffed, and they had plenty of tvs to watch football all day Sunday. Will definitely come back here!!!
This has become THE brunch that I take people too when they visit from out of town.
It's a reasonably priced bottomless brunch with AMAZING food.
I've often remarked that I would pay the bottomless price just for the food.
Not stingy either, the service was amazing, as they would refill our mimosas every couple of minutes, I've never had an empty glass here.
I'm not from New York, and this place was chosen on the recommendation of others. Our reservation was for 20 people total, and at one point we thought we would have to move. Because of another reservation that cancelled/didn't show, we were able to keep our spot for as long as we wanted. The hostess was very accomodating and kind, letting us know of the changes as soon as she received word. The service is a little slow, but that's to be expected in a crowd with very little standing room. The mixed drinks are weak, but the beer selection kept our crowd happy.
The food and beer choices are extremely good on any given night. And the brunch here is incredible. However, I was very disappointed that I got to the bar an hour and a half before bar trivia and my reservation for 3 people couldn't get us a table on the level where trivia is held. We ended up sitting at the bar, which was just OK.
I went here with my brother who has a severe nut allergy. We had notified the staff when I booked the reservation on opentable, and both the hostess and waitress asked us about it when we arrived. The chef also came out twice, first to assure us that his food would be made separately and later to see how things were. There was a good beer selection and we enjoyed the burgers.
