   The food and the ambiance at Amico Nave are wonderful. It's such a nice little intimate place and a hidden gem, that I almost hate to let the secret get out; but now that we're again able to got out to eat, Amico Nave is my go to place for Italian food.

   Ambiance was good and quiet. Calamari was fishy and didn’t taste cleaned. The veal parmigiana was chewy and very soggy from the watery marinara. My wife’s ribeye was charred beautifully but was ruined from no seasoning. Our waitress was kind but needed to be a little more attentive being that we ate our whole dinner without anything to drink. Overall it was quite a let down because I had been really wanting to like Amico Nave.

   Had an amazing dinner at Amicos, Jo was our server and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend the chicken Alfredo, I substituted the pasta for Angel hair (my favorite) and it was so good

   Enjoyed the delicious Shrimp & Grits, and my husband devoured the Shrimp Diablo. Everything was prepared artfully including our cocktails. Always our favorite!

   Very nice little place in Bryan on the outside doesn’t look like much but inside is nice and feels old school me and my girlfriend enjoyed our dinner last night great service too and wasn’t too loud like how you have to have a reservation and are seated quick

    We were the first ones in the door so the place was VERY quiet. Service was prompt and attentive. We have eaten there before and the food was as remembered. My wife had the veal scalopini and I had the shrimp diablo. Both tasted great and the helpings were large. A bit pricey but everything considered, we had a good time. We ate with friends and they seemed to enjoy their meals as well.

    Only one option on menu for vegetarians. That was just okay. Service was a bit disappointing, as server kept taking off, forgetting things, and was lukewarm amd seemed like she didn't want to be there. Due to service alone, we won't be returning. We would give it 3 of 5 stars.

    Cross country meet. Thank you for feeding so many out-of-town people who all needed pasta before a big race! Our seafood pasta was delicious, and the bread knots were excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the manager/owner was fantastic. Thanks again!

    WOW! WOW! WOW! Amico Nave was recommended to us from my Aunt that lives in Bryan. After a cold and wet day watching our Texas A&M Cadet march-in and then watching the football game, we all couldn't wait for a warm meal. We made a reservation and had dinner at Amico and it was AMAZING!!!!! Best Italian food we've had and I don't remember when. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect. The lighting was dim and it gave to a romantic but homey-vibe. We started with the flash fried mozzarella. SO yummy. Then caesar salads. Loved the fresh parm and anchovy croutons on the top. SO good. Oh! The wine list had lots of options. We got a bottle of red. The garlic bread knots were homemade and delicious. For dinner, my son got the Italian Sausage and Pepperoni pizza, we got the Blackened Chicken Linguine Alfredo and my son's girlfriend got the Farfalle Pesto Chicken. We all cleaned our plates!!! Everything was so fresh and homemade and DELICIOUS!!!!!!! We were all too full for dessert but the dessert menu looked so good. We decided to all share and take sips of the Lemon Meringue Pie Martini. Oh. My. Gosh. Limoncello, cream...dessert in a glass. We live in Cypress and I so wish we had this restaurant down the street from our house. I would be there ALL the time. But now we've found our place and every time we go to Bryan and College Station we will make SURE to have a meal at Amico! If you haven't tried it, what are you waiting for?!?!?!?!

    Seating was prompt w reservation… staff was vey accommodating. My veal was not that good… a little tough.. Diablo shrimp was very good . Calamari and shrimp dish … calamari was tough… shrimp were very good… pasta was a little dry. Pizza crust was not crispy enough for grandson. Bolognese dish was very good.

    Pasta was not drained well, water in plate, veal cooked too long-tough, spinach and mashed potatoes were good, crab cake appetizer was great. Great assortment of wines to compliment palate and meals.

    For BCS this is one of the better rectaurants. But, the menu is limited, never changes and with no specials to liven it up. The interior of the restaurant is dark and could use a remodel

    On a whim we went here with my son and his roommate. My son is an Italian food snob and if it’s not up to his standards we will not go back. He agrees we should go back and try the spaghetti. The Diablo sauce has a reputation of good and it lived up to it. I am going to try a more traditionally accepted plate next time but you won’t go wrong with this. It’s slightly spicy (I didn’t notice) and any normal Texan will call that “heat” more or less “cute”. (It has a Jalapeño spice.) This is what I like most- the ambiance. Small spaces and quite. Did not have to tell over everyone to talk to my wife. You could hear whispers. Loved it. Waiters were so attentive I felt like we were the only folks there. The other staff were friendly and always smiling. Easy parking. Easy to find. We will be back. You the reader should try this place.
