Amici Ristorante - Cherry Hill Ratings and Reviews
Went on a Friday night and the place was busy, I believe due to an engagement party but they still seated us in a timely fashion. I had the veal parm which was very good. My gf had the spinach and ricotta gnocchi. She said she could eat if forever. I've been before and it has been years but it is worth checking out. BYOB so bring a nice bottle of wine.
I had heard good things about this restaurant, so thought we'd give it a try. We met another couple there. The main dining room has bare floors and no sound proofing that I saw, so I had to practically scream to be heard by my friend across the table. (I noticed that here is a quieter section back by the bathrooms which was less noisy). We had to ask three times for bread. My friend had to remind our server several times for his soda. A salad "special" was described differently by our waiter than how it appeared, so I sent it back. Their caesar salad was good. My seafood pasta was pretty good, but nothing special. I will add that the hostess came over after our meal and asked us how everything was .... she did comp us for our deserts when we listed our issues.
Have been to this restaurant many times and enjoy bringing friends because the food is consistently delicious. Loved the snail and mushroom appetizer!. Our friends enjoyed the shrimp scampi and I had delicious linguine with seafood. My husband raved about his perfect steak with red wine reduction. One diner called the veal parm dish "average" but the rest of us were impressed. Love how the servers work together to present meals simultaneously and always piping hot! Thanks!
We were disappointed in the table seating we received - in a corridor to the bathroom. Not exactly what you want for a 20th anniversary dinner. Service was somewhat brusque - could have been more pleasant and interactive. Calamari was chewy and overcooked, but otherwise food quality and value were both excellent.
I have driven past it for months and never thought about going in. It was my husbands birthday and we wanted to go someplace new. The food was amazing and the prices were great. It was a nice friendly place and would definitely come again . I would bring the family when they come to visit. Five stars.
As always, a good meal, enjoyed with good friends. We all had the special salad of grilled octopus and roasted artichokes. Really good! But the regular menu offerings are good too. Great neighborhood restaurant, a bit above the usual Italian. Remember to BYO.
We have eaten lunch and dinner here at least two dozen times and never had a bad meal, it's always great. Seafood super fresh, prices and service great. BYOB no bar. The everyday steak, fish, pasta, always delicious but the specials, like the grilled octopus salad is out of this world.
we ordered an appetizer and split a pasta course. They came out at the same time so I felt a bit rushed. We both ordered veal dishes which were ok. Veal was tender The side s were vegetables tasted frozen and steamed with not much flavor I could swear the mashedpotatoes were from a box
