Amici Ristorante - Cherry Hill Ratings and Reviews
Lovely surprise especially since this was a last minute Christmas dining reservation. Restaurant was very busy but welcoming to patrons. Never felt rushed. Host staff are efficient and friendly. Found the wait staff to be very capable and knowledgeable regarding menu selections. We will be back!!
Christmas Dinner for 4; we had a reservation but waited 15 minutes to get seated...
no problem since the place was packed. The staff here was great under the pressure of large groups coming in one right after the other on a Holiday. All 4 of us were pleased with our dinner choices and would like to return.
Since it was Christmas day, we were surprised by the quality of the food and the excellent service we received. We were promptly seated, offered menus and a wine bucket was provided without asking for our BYOB. The meal was very good, we were not rushed and felt comfortable in taking our time. We were very satisfied, happy, and in good spirits following our visit.
Our meals were delicious as always! I had the special, shrimp, crabmeat, scallops with spinach and tomatoes in a garlic white wine sauce. It was served over unbelievable homemade pappardelle pasta. The pasta was so light, I ate every bite and was ready to lick my plate! My husband had the salmon, which was a large portion, served with beautiful fresh mix of vegetables and potatoes. He too, ate every morsel, mopping up the sauce with his crusty bread.
For appetizers we each had the Caesar salad which was perfectly chilled and topped with cheese shavings and croutons. Our time was limited tonight, so we skipped dessert. They have a wonderful tray of assorted baked goods and also gelato.
We love this restaurant . Some of our other favorites are
Baked eggplant rolled with fresh ricotta cheese and spinach, chicken fiorentina, veal Marsala, and shrimp scampi. Everything is just delicious!!!
Went on a Friday night and the place was busy, I believe due to an engagement party but they still seated us in a timely fashion. I had the veal parm which was very good. My gf had the spinach and ricotta gnocchi. She said she could eat if forever. I've been before and it has been years but it is worth checking out. BYOB so bring a nice bottle of wine.
I had heard good things about this restaurant, so thought we'd give it a try. We met another couple there. The main dining room has bare floors and no sound proofing that I saw, so I had to practically scream to be heard by my friend across the table. (I noticed that here is a quieter section back by the bathrooms which was less noisy). We had to ask three times for bread. My friend had to remind our server several times for his soda. A salad "special" was described differently by our waiter than how it appeared, so I sent it back. Their caesar salad was good. My seafood pasta was pretty good, but nothing special. I will add that the hostess came over after our meal and asked us how everything was .... she did comp us for our deserts when we listed our issues.
Have been to this restaurant many times and enjoy bringing friends because the food is consistently delicious. Loved the snail and mushroom appetizer!. Our friends enjoyed the shrimp scampi and I had delicious linguine with seafood. My husband raved about his perfect steak with red wine reduction. One diner called the veal parm dish "average" but the rest of us were impressed. Love how the servers work together to present meals simultaneously and always piping hot! Thanks!
We were disappointed in the table seating we received - in a corridor to the bathroom. Not exactly what you want for a 20th anniversary dinner. Service was somewhat brusque - could have been more pleasant and interactive. Calamari was chewy and overcooked, but otherwise food quality and value were both excellent.
