Amici Ristorante - Cherry Hill
Friday and Saturday 11 AM- 11 PM
Sunday 12 PM -10 PM
Just a very good restaurant, we go all the time. And so does every one else in the Cherry Hill vicinity! Prices are reasonable.
Outstanding food. Great choices. Super value. Friendly and accommodating staff
This is my 3rd or 4th time at Amici. I always felt the food was consistently good and the value is excellent. We did have to wait maybe 15 mins after our reserved time and once seated we were put in the back closer to the bathroom which is fine, a little more quiet but I did get worried we got forgotten about a couple times. Service was still good but a bit slower than would have liked. We all enjoyed our meals though.
Overall it was an excellent experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
While the food and service at Amici was good, it has been our experience lately that they have a policy of greatly overbooking. Our reservation was for 6:45, and yet we waited half an hour to be seated; nor were we alone. Other diners were also waiting for over half an hour, and yet as another couple without reservations arrived, they were told they could be seated in 15-20 minutes, which clearly could not happen. Several groups complained to the hostess and were on the verge of leaving. If this were just a one-time occurrence, it could be understood, but we have had this happen before as well. Amici needs to be more realistic about their booking before they lose customers.
This restaurant never disappoints. It is a great local find that shows a lot of attention in the kitchen to produce beyond the routine Italian fare. The prices are more than reasonable, especially for this type of high-level dining fit for a foodie.
If there is a drawback, it is the congestion at the front of the door while waiting for a table. Located in a small strip mall, Amici requires reservations and even with that, there could be a bit of a wait. Unfortunately, it is BYO so there is no bar. But once seated, it's a great experience. Three of us had the Cherry Hill Restaurant three-course meal for $35. My husband had the mixed seafood pasta dish.
Even when our waitress spilled a glass of wine by accident, the staff could not have been more accommodating, including providing us with free coffee and desserts.
We have never been disappointed at Amici and this visit was no exception. My wife and I were very well pleased with our dinners and our friends were delighted that we introduced them to this wonderful restaurant. We have invited several couples to dine with us here and every one has had a wonderful experience- so much so that they have returned often and brought others with them. A real find and BYO!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Amici. We were early because we had a theater commitment at 7PM so we were able to take advantage of the prix fixe dinner that ends at 5:30. It's a great deal. Appetizers were delicious and the Veal Picatta was wonderful. Desserts were only OK.
Only disappointment is that the music plays just a little too loudly and we found it annoying rather than something that added to the ambiance. Recommend switching to strictly instrumental (no vocals - PLEASE!) and play it as background music - not the star of the show. Let the food be the star!
Truly a gem. Owner/chef Alex really understands his customers and provides a very good meal at a reasonable price.
This is our "go to Restaurant" We had the portabello mushrooms topped with crab meat. They were out of this world. (appetizer special)
My girlfriend wanted to come for Restaurant Week. She had salmon, I had bronzini. We took home our desserts. Always great food and service.
We waited over 1/2 hour for our reservation. The service was fair but the food was excellent!
My husband and I went to Amici’s during restaurant week for a date night and were very pleased with everything. The food was absolutely delicious. This area will be our new go to for special occasion meals or date nights.
We were four for dinner on a Sat night. Totally crowded. They got one of the entree orders wrong and gave us 3 deserts to make up for the problem. Overall, I think it would have been better not in a weekend night. They were just too busy...
We were seated immediately upon our arrival. A server immediately arrived to ask if we wanted something to drink or did we need wine glasses. We were given ample time to review the menu, before our waiter arrived to tell us about the specials for the night. The various courses we ordered arrived timely and it was evident they were served as soon as prepared. The food was excellent. This was the first time in a long time that my husband actually finished his entire meal. We had our teenage granddaughter with us and she loved everything she ordered. Everyone was very attentive. Both service and food were very good. We will definitely go back very soon.
Outstanding. Consistent, great wait staff, great food, great atmosphere.
The perfect place for a date, dinner with friends, business associates, anytime
When the meal and service is as good as Amici, it can only be ... Perfection!!!
Great food and excellent service. We had to wait a few minutes for iur table which was fine. We had a great time.
Frequent Amici’s often. The staff is always pleasant and very accommodating. The food is absolutely wonderful. Simple and fresh. The restaurant is a BYOB so the overall experience is very affordable. My wife and I along with our friends enjoy coming here and will continue to do so.
Have never been happy with the lamb chops or cappuccino other than that it is always very good.
Service was excellent! My water glass was never past half empty. The food was very good and a great value. Overall we rate Amici's a neighborhood gem.
Don't let the strip-mall location fool you! It's a good-sized place with creative architecture which allows them to have not only some outdoor seating, but also lots of window-seating along the front of the venue.
Nice menu with plenty of choices and very affordable.
There was NO skimping on the portion sizes (salads, and entrees).
Very pleasant and attentive staff who help one another to provide excellent service throughout.
Delicious Tiramisu that's made in-house DAILY.
We'll be back!
i don''t care to wrrite a review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Food was superb for very reasonable prices. Will visit this restaurant again very soon.
Food was good but the service was a bit spotty.
I ate there twice last week...lunch Wednesday and Sunday dinner. Lunch was excellent. Service was good. Food was promptly served. It was hot and delicious. Unfortunately, Sunday was not as good. Was I in the same restaurant? It was so different. Slow service and bland food were a disappointment. Was it the chef's night off? I am undecided as to whether I would dine there again. I would definitely not go there on a Sunday.
We have enjoyed every visit to Amici- whether we order from the menu or select a special dish- everything is excellent.
We sat in a quieter section of the restaurant. The main dining room was noicy, but friendly. My husband wears hearing aids so I though it best to request quiet section, which I read about on a previous post. The service was attentive, the staff accommodating and the food was a great value and was very good. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely bring other friends to our new find.
We eat at Amici's a few times a month. The food is always fresh and delicious. Sometimes we have lunch, other times dinner. It is a neighborhood gem, but worth a drive to dine there.
Our first time...won’t be our last. Good menu options. All but one in our party got specials. None were disappointed. Lobster & fettuccini, filet mignon, Dover Sole, and salmon. Starters, coffee & dessert. Everything was very good - including the service.
Excellent neighborhood restaurant. Consistently good food and service at a fair price.
We hadn't been here in quite some time, but my girlfriend asked to come here for Mother's Day. It was her, her younger daughter, and me. Enough food for the prix fixe special menu. Food still very good.
We had a reservation at 7:15, got to the restaurant at 7, and there was a line out the door. Someone who had a 6:30pm reservation had not yet been seated, so we were told the wait was about an hour or so after our reservation time. They obviously took too many reservations and were unable to accommodate them all, but offered no apology at all. After 40 minutes, we ended up leaving and going someplace else. It was Mother's Day, so needless to say, we were very disappointed!
The restaurant overbooked and did not honor Open Table reservations at the confirmed time. Our table was unavailable until 45 minutes after our reservation and many other Open Table diners had the same experience.
The food was excellent and our party was seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. My only complaint was that it took 45 minutes to serve the main course after the appetizers were served and the waiter only stopped by once during this time frame to check on us. Given it was Mother's Day and extremely busy I am going to give this a pass. The food was excellent all way through from apps, to the main course to dessert.
My family went here on Mother's day and we were very impressed. The overall service was excellent. It was extremely busy and every person in that restaurant was working non stop and helping one another out. Very impressive. On top of it all the food was outstanding. All three of us had the eggplant rollitini appetizer and the veal with sundried tomatoes and artichokes. Complements to the chef because the veal was cooked perfectly (so tender you could cut it with a butter knife). For dessert I highly recommend the tiramasu. Great experience. We'll definitely be back.
My favorite BYOB!!
The food is delicious, service is great and reasonable!
