Don't know if the problem was with Open Table or the restaurant, but we made a reservation on line for 8 people last Saturday night and when we showed up, the lights were off and the restaurant was closed. Tried calling and got an answering machine. Very difficult to find a table, much less for 8 people, on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend in Boston's North End. Very fortunate that the owner of Riccardo's accommodated us. Still, very disappointed with Amici.
Great reliable Italian food- delicious!
The waitress was very scattered and not attentive at all. She was rude and kept trying to blame everything on the poor bus girl.
Always great Italian. Near TD Garden. Staff very friendly. Not rushed.
New cook , many customers walked out due to time it took to get food
Great food, drinks and cozy atmosphere. Really enjoyed dinner and the portions are perfect. I was not stuffed after dinner. Good value for outstanding food! server was polite and they all knew what they were doing. Excellent service.
A very quiet out of the way restaurant. We totally enjoyed our meal and talking with the waitress and owner. It was a family affair and memorable. The food was outstanding with local fresh cheese, basil, tomatoes, etc. We stayed a long time and just relaxed, enjoyed the meal, dessert, wine and the company. Can't wait to go back.
Excellent authentic Italian restaurant 5 minutes walk to TD Garden
Great menu, service and atmosphere
Excellent alternative to the chain restaurants before or after a Game
The ONLY thing good with this restaurant was the food. Besides that nothing was actually that good.
My husband and I were going to a Celtics game and we didn't want to eat in dinner in the pub scene. We looked at reviews and came up with Amici and it did not disappoint. Very generous glasses of wine and dinner. The owner came over and said hello filling us in on the area and how she and her husband live upstairs. She ended up buying us a drink and joining us for one too. Very pleasant and enjoyable and a quick walk to the Garden too.
Nice, little and cozy! This Italian restaurant worked well before a Bruins game and is literally 5 mins walk from the TD Garden. It's not huge, so a big party is not recommended. It was pretty open seating an hour prior to the game so it was quick (I assume everyone decided to be at the bars surrounding the TD Garden instead, too bad their loss). If you want to eat before an event at TD, this is a great place!
Amazing!! Ask for Ester- or as we say in in Boston Estaaaa!! She is great!!
Went for new years eve and it was amazing. This is a great place for authentic Italian food. Happly surprised.
food was ok, service was ok the menu looked better on line.
Food and atmosphere is good. But the service was not good. We were there before a concert, and they knew that, but they still were slow, making the timing stressful for us.
