Food was so so. Do not let their advertisement of gluten free pasta fool you. They boil it in the same water as regular pasta. They refused to make it in fresh water so the only thing I could eat on the entire menu was the cauliflower salad. Very loud.

Loud, was not enjoyable to converse with people. Food came out at different times. Pizzas were burnt on the bottom. Couple of the pasta dishes were good.

They were out lasagna and ravioli . No real spaghetti. Big disappointment for our party of 7 . Service was extremely slow .

Great experience. The ambiance was great and it’s in a cool area of downtown Dallas. We sat on the patio, and it was very enjoyable for a double date. The soup and lasagna were especially good.

Great food! However the service was not what we would have expected given our previous visits were top quality. There was poor timing with the sequence of how the food came out. Appetizer and entrees arrived at the same time. Silverware was not dropped off with dessert and it took longer than a while to receive. We had to ask for refills of water each time. The wait staff and kitchen did not appear to be in sync. Perhaps it was an off night as prior experiences have been solid on the service front.

Food was excellent, service very good. Not an extensive menu, but what we ordered was great! Sauce on the rigatoni was delicious, had a little kick. Meatballs were very good. Dessert was so nice. If you are staying at The Joule, definitely try it if you are looking for a casual good restaurant.

Food was very good, service good. We were served limoncello that was undrinkable. It tasted like rubbing alcohol, apparently not prepared correctly qnd or long enough. We reported this to the server and bartender but were still charged $27 for three glasses.

We went for our first anniversary, and the location couldn’t be more beautiful. Be sure to ask for patio seating because you get a lovely view of downtown! The service was very considerate, and even offered us free wine for our special occasion! The giant garlic knot is superb.

My wife ate there and said it was awesome. We both are there at 8 pm and it was terrible. The pizza had NO sauce and was very dry. The salad had wet, wilted leaves and was bad. My wife wants to try again, but I don’t know.

I am always looking for new places to try and my friend and decided on Americano for a girls night. We shared the garlic bread knot which was amazing. Nice crunch and flavor, however the chicken parmigiana was disappointing. The chicken was dry and overcooked and the pasta was bland. Drinks are served in small glasses, which would be fine if the waitress were a little more attentive, however service was slow and a bit stressful while waiting for the check and change ( as we were heading to a musical after dinner).

Server brought both appetizers and main course at the same time. Pizza was very plain and although crispy it tasted of nothing. Would not come there again.

Service was a bit slow and inattentive, with an automatic 20% service charge for our large group of six. Portion sizes were inconsistent - a side eggplant dish was the same size as an entree lasagna, but the pappardelle bolognese was huge (and sadly mostly pasta and hardly any sauce). The ambiance was really cool and the wine selection was fantastic, but the food and service could have been better for what we paid.

The Americano has a great quiet ambiance which is perfect for a date night. Food was good and unique, but a bit pricey. I would go back again.

I was staying at the hotel where the restaurant was located. Although I had requested a booth inside they sat me at a table outside. It took maybe 10 minutes for the wait staff to take a drink order and another 10 minutes to bring it. Then it was 10-15 minutes before anyone came over to take my food order. I ordered a cheese plate which I had intended to eat as a first course, but they brought it with my main course — pizza. Maybe I should have told them or maybe they should have asked. The pizza was really outstanding/best part of the meal! Had to request the check. It was busy but could have been more organized. The staff was friendly enough but I’ve got to ding the manager: poor staff communication and poor management of resources.

We have enjoyed several meals at Americano and this was another great meal. We started with the Charcuterie and Marinated Olives, perfect start to our meal. My with order the Pasta Bolognese and I the Chicken Parm, great plates and fantastic flavors. I had several glasses of the Barbara, amazing. Emergency finishes with and Affogato and Cappuccino. We will be back!

Excellent food and service. It was our first time there. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and personable. We took her suggestions for dinner and it was fantastic. We felt like we had a lot of food coming so we didn’t order a salad. She brought us a Caesar salad to split because she wanted us to try it - for free! We will definitely go back.
