They serve wine in water glasses
The 2013 Tuscan we ordered came out as 2015 but everything else was great
Excellent food, great value, and not so loud you can’t have a conversation. Perfect downtown date spot.
Great food and service!!!
Americano had wonderful service and great food. It was a bit pricey but the quality of the food and service was outstanding.
Great place to meet with friends and enjoy a nice evening. Our waitress was great and was attentive but not overbearing. Nice cocktail list and everyone enjoyed their entrees. I would defiantly return .
The service was extremely slow. One person’s order was overlooked and we had to ask when it was coming to the table. I’ve been here several times before. I was very disappointed in the service.
Experience is wonderful!
Love Americano! Go there every time I’m in Dallas!
For the cost of the dishes I was expecting more. The breakfast pizza made me sick to my stomach the next day.
Great Place for Brunch With Great Downtown Location & Awesome Ambience
Great food and atmosphere. Servers are wonderful too.
The shaved cauliflower salad alone is worth the visit to Americano. Be sure to enjoy it.
It was a great spot to celebrate a birthday. They offer cake cutting if you want to bring a dessert. Small heads up though - valet is not free after 90 minutes.
Great pasta, but service and salads need some work. My colleagues and I each ordered a half salad and a pasta dish, but our salads were brought out after our pasta, which was strange. Generally salads are served as a starter before the main dish. Honestly, I wish I had just cancelled the salad at that point, and would have if they'd given us some heads up. The ceasar salad was just okay. Needed more dressing and flavor in my opinion. Overall, a very cute place with great pasta, but may need some work on their timing/service. The shrimp pasta dish was delicious though.
It was amazing! Whenever we dine at Americano we have such a lovely time and the food is amazing
Delicious meal - really loved the pasta! We would have preferred faster service, but enjoyed our time here nonetheless.
This was not my first time dining here. If it had been, it would have been my last. Server was MIA the entire evening. Food runners weren’t equipped to even run food (came out without plates or silverware). If a runner was asked for a plate he seemed confused fused like he didn’t know what to do. So if the servers are hung to be completely absent the entire night, runners should at least be equipped to assist tables. We sent one food item back, our pizza had a huge layer of oil sitting on top of it and was covered in grease. After finally tracking down our server to send it back, no apology or anything.
I’ve been here many times and every time the food gets better!
Stopped in for a quick dinner while in town. Food pretty good, service good. Slow to get seated with a reservation.
I loved this place! The food was great, the service was fantastic, I will be coming back!
The night was fabulous, the service awesome and the food.... Wow.
The only negative was the noise level was a little high for easy conversation - but - apart from that little niggle - Thank you Americano for a great experience!
Not what we were expecting. Very small menu and not much for drink choices, unless you’re a wine drinker.
Americano is a casual Italian concept. I’ve dine here before on a couple of occasions. The experience this time was good but it has definitely changed - feels like the ingredients have been altered. The pizza primarily was not as good as it once was. Their Caesar salad was great but it was a little too heavy on the dressing. Service was good and friendly. I suggest making sure espresso cups are clean before serving them.
Amazing homemade pasta and pizza! The arancini is a must for an appetizer. Great wine selection and top service!
Food was good, service was exceptional, but the space was way too loud. We were there for a business meal and you literally could not hear each other talking. Seriously detracted from the food and service.
“Didnt have change” but still took cash. Short $9
Greats location, food and service. Very loud tho
We’ve dined at Americano several times, and this by far was our worst dining experience. Our server was extremely inattentive and seemed to have reservations about serving our table. My dinner companion was never offered another cocktail, the menus weren’t removed until we received our entrees, we were not offered red pepper or Parmesan cheese for our entrees, and nothing was ever removed from our table. Our small table was in the the middle of the section that he was serving, and he had to walk past us in order to serve his other tables. It was very apparent that we were being ignored. To their credit, the manger Kathryn offered her apologies and removed some item from our check.
Great food. Too noisy though
Very good food, chill atmosphere, awesome service. The cocktails were delicious. Would recommend the fried olives, cannelloni and the pizza.
Service was a little slow. We weren’t in a hurry so it wasn’t that big of a deal.
Great food. A bit loud but always fun and festive.
Outstanding atmosphere and food! Especially their amazing pizza.
Server was really horrible.
Service was a bit slow. Although on the pricey side, food was great. $4 for a cup of coffee is a bit steep as well. Nice atmosphere. Perfect for a weekend brunch. Free valet is a nice perk as well.
Restaurant too loud. Couldn’t even have a decent conversation. Food and serve was overall good but ambiance and price will keep me from going back.
I love Americano. We were able to get a seat on the "patio", which is so enclosed you wouldn't even notice it's a patio. However, we tried the fried olives (per a review), and they were just ok--quite salty and not anything special. Second, we ordered the burrata pizza, which was soooo yum. I'm a little obsesses with Neopolitan pizza these days, so the crust wasn't my favorite, but the toppings were 10. I love the atmosphere here.
Booked a reservation for my birthday dinner. Food was great but the service was disappointing. I never got my cocktail or the meat & cheese board we ordered for the table. After 20-30 mins of waiting with our waiter nowhere to be found, out came the entrees. We asked the waiter about our app & drink to be told “I guess I didn’t ring it into the system.” We declined to get the items at that point because it wasn’t really worth it anymore and we wanted to eat our mains. Had to flag our waiter down (took multiple attempts) just to pay the bill. It’s frustrating to make a reservation while planning an evening out, only to feel slighted on the service. Once again, we all loved our food! I just didn’t appreciate feeling ignored in a restaurant with a price-point that usually pairs with attentive service. With all the local choices in Dallas, I would rather try something new than head back this way.
The food was delicious and the service attentive without being overbearing. The noise level is loud. Hard to hear conversation from across a table for two.
