We are open for lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are accepted as well.
This is a fantastic restaurant, wonderful staff and just a really great place to have lunch or dinner. Delicious food in the heart of the Eastbay restaurant area. Reasonably priced.
Excellent food and service. Oysters and mussels were outstanding!
Restaurant week, good value!
Food was not good. Disappointed. Usually love this place
We had some of the best seafood dishes we have had in a long time. The ability to select a fish and pair it with a preparation - I went with Low Country and my dinner companion went with Blackened (New Orleans style) - was great. Our server was pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend.
We went when it was apparently the end of happy hour, which we will concede can be a busy time. It was rather wild. Food was delightful. Art fully prepared and delicious fresh fish. Oysters were nice varieties. Would return.
This place was great. Shrimp and grits some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Service wonderful
Great service! Delicious food!
Frances was a delight! Best calamari steak ever!
Love this restaurant! The food is delicious and our waitress, Danielle, was very knowledgeable about the menu and the flavor profiles of each dish...very impressive!! This is not an inexpensive meal but the food is so good, we don't mind paying for it. Will definitely be back, again and again!
Always great food and service here - never a miss. Lindsey is super!
FABULOUS food and FABULOUS service. First visit. Will not be my last.
Our server, Gracie, was very pleasant and prompt with service. She checked in with us just the right amount. The blackened shrimp appetizer is a MUST. We shared the scallops and the grouper with the lowcountry preparation—perfect pimento cheese grits, sweet corn, green beans. He had an old fashioned and I had the Saint Anthony, both were tasty and overall Amen offers high quality at a reasonable price. Definitely one of our favorite spots in Charleston.
I know it was New Year’s Eve, but things were way too chaotic and the front of the house did not seem managed at all.
Gracie was terrific and tried hard for us.
Absolutely fantastic, scallops were perfect. Ask for the pecan pie for desert, not on the menu but the best. Michael was a great server.
Food was excellent!
We have eaten at Amen Street since it opened 10 years ago. Last night the food was awful! We go for the crab cakes, but last night there was no lump crab in them, they were pure mush of filler, awful! The haricot vert were overcooked and oily, the potatoes were oily.
When I went into the women’s restroom, it was appalling filthy, and a server in there said it had been that way since earlier in the day!!
When we discussed all of this with the manager, she did take $13 off of our bill, but we would have preferred good food and a clean restroom!
We will not be returning to Amen Street.
My newly classified best seafood joint in the city. I will be back there.
Overpriced and not enjoyable. The crab soup and bouillabaisse the worst.
Megan, our waitstaff, was exceptional! She was a pleasure to spend our afternoon with! The calamari strips, hush puppies, tuna tatami, and raw oysters were tasty highlights.
Raw Oysters amazing.
Fried oyster appetizer delicious.
We had Cod and Groups with low country grits and they both were delicious.
The oyster shooters were fun and delicious. Our waitress Gracie was great. Highly recommend.
Had a great meal with friends !!!
Always delicious and fantastic service
Oysters great shrimp dogs raw corn cold
Top notch, as always. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Everything was on point!
Michael our server was excellent from beginning to end. The oysters were great. All food was very good. Seating by yhe window on Bay Street was perfect!
They claim to have the second best shrimp and grits in Charleston, but my wife and I would not agree. With all the great restaurants in town they're going to have to step up their game.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was excellent. Try the Saint Anthony...amazing drink.
She Crab soup and Tuna tacos are a must try. My wife had the seafood platter, which was a little bland but all in all a great experience.
The four of us each ordered a different entree... and they were all great!!
Also had oysters to start👍🏻👍🏻..
Our server Kenny was top notch as well..
Every time we’ve dined at Amen Street has been a good experience from food to service!
Looking forward to our next visit 😀
Excellent service and the food is amazing!
Nice experience. Will do it again.
This is our 2nd trip. Food is outstanding, especially the tuna tartare, and the Lowcountry preparation of any of the fish. Service is excellent as well. It can get a little noisy but we were tucked back in a corner at the window so it wasn’t bad at all! Highly recommend!
What a nice find Amen Street Fish + Raw Bar was! The food was ridiculously delicious! Our server was informative, warm and welcoming. We'll be back next time we're in Charleston.
We went for happy hour and the bar bites were fantastic (calamari and raw oysters) as well as the beer prices. We will be back for sure! Best happy hour in Charleston!
They oysters are amazing. We each ordered a dozen of mixed local oysters and what a treat. The server was really friendly and quick.
Amazing food and incredible service!
Great food. We sat at the bar. Bartenders could have been a little less absorbed with their local friends at the bar. Considering this is a higher end restaurant, you’d expect better service.
Great food, location and atmosphere. Get the oysters!!
Excellent! We love everything on the menu! The oysters are super fresh! Excellent seafood dishes and services! One if our favorite places. Happy hour is a must do.
