   The wait staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was very fresh (salads) and had nice presentation. I will return for lunch again

   Great experience - good wine list, excellent food, outstanding service. We has New Brunswick oysters which were excellent and salmon tartare , also excellent , as appetizers. Trout, duck, steak and ravioli entrées were all very good. We all ordered dessert and taste tested around - chocolate mousse, chocolate molten cake, creme brûlée, and apple tarte tartin - all met with approval - but creme brûlée and chocolate molten cake were stars. I personally think well executed creme brûlée is a good measure of a restaurant! Packed, noisy, vibrant, trendy, good food, great wine, outstanding service by Fred - a West Village gem for sure! Bon appetite!!

   We have been here a number of times and never been disappointed. Excellent escargot appetizer and steak frites. Great salads too. Highly recommend.

   Everything about our evening here was over the top It seems they don't have a good way of keeping reservations but they made it happen The service was amazing and they kept the food coming instead of having it come at one time Food was also exceptional You need to make a reservation and make it there

   Loud, crowded, but also probably one of the best places in NYC for wine and French cuisine Be warned though, a few glasses of wine between 2 can add $$$$ to the bill. But in all, definitely worth it as a splurge or a special occasion.

    Ate here for the first time last Friday evening for a friend's birthday. I had a happy hour white wine flight for $12 which was meh. We did not try the charcuterie but the food we had was excellent. Octopus and scallop appetizers to share were fresh and delicious. Duck confit, whole fish, pork chop special all got good reviews. The servers were pleasant and efficient. He put a candle on a dessert as requested. It's great when five diners are all happy.
