Very nice staff and food was great
An under rated gem near Kendal Square. Service is great people are friendly and attentive food is very good.
The gnocchi was amazing. Good salads and friendly atmosphere.
A wonderfully intimate neighborhood restaurant, with exceptional food, fantastic service, and lovely ambiance, in the middle of the MIT/biotech cluster in Cambridge. We shared the octopus and the arugula salad with Gorgonzola and pears as appetizers. I had the roasted eggplant with pasta as a main dish. All dishes were outstanding. The cocktail offerings were also great; including a white negroni (made with gin, Suze and Lillet), which was excellent.
I loved this restaurant. Everything was well prepared and the service was excellent. I will return.
As usual, very very good!
A quiet birthday for a friend. Intimate and delicious. The brick pressed chicken was incredible.
Food and service was excellent as always!
A really rare example of Italian food in Boston (not US Italian, real Italian)
I would highly recommend Amelia's Trattoria in Cambridge, MA. They consistently provide delicious food and excellent service. The restaurant itself is quaint; perfect for a client meal or a romantic dinner. I can always count on them for a wonderful meal and experience for my guests. If you haven't tried this restaurant yet, you really should.
On this recent occasion, I felt bad because we took the table for quite a long time, but our waiter never showed anything but patience and kindness. My client loved it! Thank you so much to the waitstaff that evening (apologies as I do not remember their names).
Enjoyed the pappardelle and the service was excellent.
We go to Amelia's a lot we think it is the best restaurant in Cambridge, They have never disappointed us.
Disappointed overall although some dishes for party of 6 were good. Ingredients on half the dishes were not as on menu. This happened on Octopus, and on spaghetti vongole. Spaghetti was sobo noodles. We were not even informed of change before food was delivered. Gnocchi special undergood. Will not return.
Also wine marked up 4X retail prices
Excellent - food, service, and wine list / great with nut allergies as well - nothing could have been any better
A terrific meal... delicious... never disappoints... and especially nice with the outdoor seating. Nice bar and wine list too! The salmon and seafood dishes are fantastic!
We were there early in their dinner service and it was excellent! wait staff was attentive but let us enjoy our dinner in a great environment.
The waiter was dry and not the greatest at checking in. We had specifically said that one of our guests cannot have onions. After some time we all received our meal excerpt for one who said they did not want onions in there dish. The waiter proceeded to say that they cooked her food with onions and if that was “okay”. Obviously it was not so she received half of what she originally ordered had to wait for another meal to be given to her. Will probably not be going back for the price we payed.
Excellent foor and service. Will return for sure. They have a 'sister' restaurant nearby with different menu: Sulmona, also worth a visit. Main Street, Cambridge
Some coworkers and I went for lunch to say farewell to one that is leaving. I put this in the open table reservation but it wasnt mentioned (which was fine but why bother asking?). The food was very good, though a bit greasy. Overall though, the restaurant was very loud and the service was very slow. There was some confusion about whether there was gluten free pasta available (which the online menu indicates they have but when we arrived that part of the menu was gone) and one of our party has celiac disease, so this is not just a dietary preference. I would go back to give them another try but was not super impressed with the service and how long it took to order and then get our food.
I love this place. Dinner is always excellent. They happily split our spinach salad and dessert, recommended complementary wines. Dishes expertly cooked. Excellent menu options to look forward to, served at the next table... I had the home-made spinach and ricotta cannelloni and my husband had the exceptional veal. Servings are good size not overflowing. Pricing is what you expect for Cambridge.
this place never let's me down. love to take out of town guests here as I know they will love it!
Great little intimate spot. Service was excellent. Food could have been a bit more tasty but I like more intense flavor than most. Lovely place.
We arrived for a luncheon for our co worker who is expecting soon. Everything was delicious, however one of the reasons we picked your restaurant was because on your website, you advertise that you have gluten free pasta, (one of our co workers has a gluten allergy), however when we sat down we noticed it wasn't advertised on the menu. We were then told that gluten free pasta was no longer offered. I suggest in that case you take it off your website. Then, everyone but one of our co workers was served a Coke, because apparently, the Coke ran out? It wasn't explained if it was temporarily unavailable, but it was disappointing because everyone else that ordered coke got theirs except for one person. Lastly, and this may be a political statement, but a Michael Jackson playlist was playing the whole time we were eating lunch. I not only thought this was in bad taste, but it was also an odd choice I thought for an Italian restaurant. overall though, the food was great and the waitstaff were very sweet and attentive.
Food and service were good, but it was witnessing the waiter assist an elderly gentleman get out of his seat and then following up to see if his wife needed help getting him in the car that made my night! What a beautiful gesture!
we loved Amelia's. It was a nice intimate environment. We didn't feel rushed and could linger over our delicious Italian meal with family.
Amelia’s was superb, as always. The sea bass and clams special was especially good, and the caponata starter is not to be missed.
My only quibble was that service was so-so. There was only one server and she was stretched thin. I don’t recall this being an issue on prior visits. But even so, we will keep coming back for both the food and the cozy ambience.
The food was delicious. The service was efficient but not very warm. It was a little drafty by the window.
We had a delicious meal for my husband’s birthday. Everyone was lovely. We will be back for our next celebration.
Nice dinner for our Anniversary with extra attention from our server. Food was excellent. Love that this is a small, intimate restaurant.
Excellent Kendall Square option ... would recommend checking it out.
Food was very good and came out quickly. Very friendly, attentive staff. Will be going again in the future.
Super over priced for average at best Italian food. The service was good, but was very disappointed overall in our experience sadly.
Very nice place, small, intimate, reasonably quiet. Excellent service, very good food, decent wine selection, and they offer Peak Organic beer! Family owned restaurant and it shows in the level of pride they show in serving their clients. Steve
Wonderful food and service!
The vongole pasta was way too salty. I think they didn't properly prepare the clams. Also found a piece of hair in the seafood stew.
Very nice evening. Same owner as Nearby Sulmona, much more intimate as the space is much smaller. The Pasta Norma was quite robust. Recommend.
Quaint little restaurant with great food.
Wonderful food,,, terrific service,,, nice atmosphere... perfect place for a date night!
Its website says it is handicap accessible and that is true for there is a fine ramp leading up from Portland Street into the restaurant. Further, the staff went out of their way to accommodate me in my small power wheelchair and putting me at an appropriate table. However, the restrooms are DOWNSTAIRS.
