Amangani Grill Ratings and Reviews
What a view and what an amazing atmosphere!! We live in Idaho Falls but I promise we will be back to this wonderful dining experience. The food was INCREDIBLE, so flavorful and great visual presentation. We sat by the warm roaring fire and enjoyed the most romantic delicious meal I believe I've ever had. Friendly staff, amazing atmosphere and fantastic food! I'd highly recommend this place if you're in the Jackson Hole area.
Time to redo that carpet downstairs to hardwood. It looks very tired. The people who work there are always so pleasant and give excellent service. I'd like to see a couple of mainstream items on the menu and still let the chef do his thing with the other items. Sometimes it's hard to find things that sound good on the menu after a hike or when really hungry. Their burger and Caesar are good items for that and are excellent. I'd like to see a normal blt with snake river farms bacon and Jackson greens and tomatoes that aren't steamed (I don't like steamed tomatoes on sandwiches😝) . Sweet potato fries are amazing! More soups that are mainstream would be tasty. The venue cannot be beat with the view, but again the carpet is tired and is starting to make the rest look tired. Love the people who work there- thank you!!! You make the place!!!!
(& my husband treated me to beautiful earrings at the trunk show upstairs after lunch so that was fun!!!) see you soon. It's a not to be missed restaurant! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amangani Grill is a delightful one-of-a-kind dining experience. Perched high atop a butte with an unparalleled view of the Jackson Hole (Wyoming) Valley framed by the Grand Tetons, this elegantly original property would be worth visiting even if they only served french fries. Fortunately, their menu is a tad more extensive! Our lunch options included entree-sized salads, a variety of mains, and impressive wines. The Grill is the restaurant at the unique Amangani Resort in Jackson, WY, one of the "curated" properties of the Aman Group. Even the management personnel are a delight to meet. Check out their website for menu choices at lunch or dinner, find a way to include a visit when you are in Jackson Hole in any season, and believe the website's stunning pictures of this venue. It really is that beautiful!
A beautiful location in an exclusive hotel. All items, even simple ones, were prepared at a high level. The food tasted great, was at the proper temperature and our service was very attentive. Even something as simple as tomato juice was better than I had ever enjoyed before. Highly recommend!
A lovely evening. Everything was just lovely from the moment we entered. While they may not have the best mountain views we enjoyed the sunset views that we had. The service was excellent and I would have given the food five stars but one of us had the quail which was too rich to finish. They have a notable wine list and we finished our meal with a great cheese plate. I do. To know if I will ever be in Jackson again but if I am I am coming back.
I would. To bring children here unless you go early. The whole atmosphere encourages you to relax, take a deep breath and linger.
A bit difficult to get to. The room has a very "New Age-y" look to it with armchairs possibly a bit narrow for some. Windows open out to a great, though not quite magnificent view. Staff is extremely pleasant. The food, a little off-beat, is interesting and perfectly prepared (try the pulled pork tacos for lunch). Prices are high, but that's pretty much the case everywhere in Jackson. Overall, a great place.
I searched Online for an outstanding spot for my husband & I to dine in Jackson Hole & I surely found it! It is truly worth the quite short drive out of town to reach this amazing mountaintop restaurant with it's incredible breathtaking sunset view. Our dinners & our server, Virgil, could not have been better👌
My husband and I had a wonderful evening at the Amangani Grill. The food was terrific, the room and overall vibe is very comfortable and the staff professional, knowledgeable and very nice. Shout outs to John and George for great service, low key yet fun environment and accommodating our request for a cocktail near the wood burning fireplace. George promptly build a beautiful fire, brought our pre-dinner drink and a backgammon board. After dinner in the dining room we headed back to the fireplace for dessert. Cannot recommend enough.
You expect a tip top experience at an Aman resort & Jackson's Amangani Grill Restaurant doesn't disappoint one bit. Situated in the Spring Creek Ranch hills overlooking the valley below and mountains beyond, the vistas are majestic. Located only 5-7 minutes from Jackson's center, the winding hillside drive up is quite scenic & enjoyable. The Amangani Grill is downstairs off of a full height lobby, furnished in open wood construction Western modern style - quite nice. Tables are stone / composite stone construction & conveniently spaced for comfort. Wine list is extensive, we enjoyed a Volpaia Chianti Classico. Menu is deep with local, regional & international choices - we had Elk tenderloin & rabbit, both on beds of potatoes, asparagus & root vegetables, superb. Before dinner drinks of the signature Hibiscus Margarita were quite good, but not as tasty as the Margarita w fruit juices & jalapeño at the Granary next door - but it was a small difference. Great restaurant for a special occasion when in the Jackson Hole area - pricey, but special. You'll enjoy! ...
The service is friendly and professional. The food is delicious served in a quiet, beautiful
place. I would highly recommend this restaurant. From the warm greeting received at the door until the end of the meal, it is a gem. Thanks to all who made our evening special.
We often go for lunch when we arrive into Jackson. Winter, Summer and Fall always love to venture up the butte for a lovely lunch. Quite often our food is very good but this time it was not good. I hate to say that because I really love the whole ambiance and vibe there. We will still go but our advice to the restaurant is to have better quality control for what leaves the kitchen. After a lengthy wait for our meals, the burgers were very lackluster with giant hard rolls, puny tiny patties and a misers portion of arugula. I expect more from an Aman resort. All of us got small broken fries that looked to be leftovers from the bottom of a bin. I hope this can be constructive criticism because we love to eat there and this was a giant turn off. We will return, and hope they step it up in the kitchen. It's a lovely place.
Our lunch was terrible. 3 of us had the roast beef sandwich, the meat was dry, one was ordered with no cheese, so they all came out with no cheese, the brioche bread was dry and tasteless. The one piece of roast beef on the sandwich was more shoe sole that meat, and for the menu prove should have been Kobe beef! I would understand 1/3 sandwiches not being good, but you nailed them 3/3! The $16 trifle for dessert was a rocks glass full of caramel drowning the carrot flavored bread which didn't stand a chance of being tasted, with hazelnuts on top.
We live here year round and only go to amangani when we have family visiting, easy to say now we won't be going back no matter who's visiting!
We were very surprised to be served food that was at best average. We had heard good things about this restaurant but we're very disappointed by the "elk sausage soup " that was so salty that was not edible. The chicken dish was not cooked well and the steak was done rare instead of well done as we had asked.
The Amangani Grill was wonderful in every way. The view was outstanding...we had the opportunity to watch the sunset. The ambience was terrific...very warm, sophisticated, upscale. The service was outstanding with well trained service personnel. Highly recommended.
We are now planning to enjoy the Amangani Spa later this week.
