Amalfi Ristorante Italiano
Too much breading and not enough meat
Came here for a late Valentines Day dinner - it was perfect (they even still had the Valentines Day decorations in place!). The food was delicious and the service could not have been better.
Definitely a hidden jewel! Took my wife for Valentine's Day dinner and we were pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was. The host and waitress were very friendly and courteous. We love the simple decoration that make you feel like you're a guest in a Italian home. We look forward to coming back to enjoy the other dishes. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
Exceptionally phenomenal place with amazing food and service.
The food is very well prepared and you can't go wrong with any of their fish dishes. I had barramundi with lemon caper sauce and it was perfect- moist and flavorful. The service is always attentive and they never rush you. I always look forward to my meal at Amalfi's
Amazingly wonderful food. Chicken breasts are cooked with wing attached for flavor. Superb results! Impeccable service. Reminiscent of cafes in Italy.
Always good. Eggplant was great. Old school MoCo.
Had to ask for olive oil. At an Italian restaurant!!! Calimari with garlic sauce and spaghetti was outstanding, except it was supposed to be linguine. After one bite when I realized the error, it was so good that I decided not to complain. Note the restaurant does not have a handicapped entrance. There are two steps to get in the door.
Another lovely evening at Amalfi. The food is fresh and tasty - eggplant parmesan had just the right amount of sauce and cheese - did not overwhelm the eggplant. Service was excellent. The carbonara was delightful and filing - enough leftover for a second meal at home. This is a neighborhood gem.
Been going for 35 years. Food wonderful then. It is different now, but, still wonderful.
Very good food as usual, service as well. Do wish bread were warm.
What a find! Excellent salad and bread to start. My husband had clams in garlic sauce and I had the Chicken Saltimbocca. Both were outstanding. The dining room was a bit brighter than typical for dinner but the service was excellent. Just a nice family-run, neighborhood spot. We will be back.
I have been to Amalfi many times in the past 15 years, with my work colleagues when I was working and with my family. It has never disappointed us.
Amalfi is one of my favorite places to eat, the food is always good and the service is good as well. Family owned and operated, so you know the food is always made to order.
Food was excellent
Amalfi's is the best. When we decide to go out for dinner we never discuss where.
It's always Amalfi. The owners and staff are great and we love Italian food.
Classic, consistent, always very tasty! I love the enthusiasm of the staff, and its great to see familiar faces each time we go. The eggplant parm is exactly like my grandfather made it.
We went for my son's 10th birthday since he loves Italian food. The server's suggestions were right on and the food was delicious, especially the handmade pastas. We live 45 mins away and are trying to figure out when we can get back for a delicious meal!
Wonderful birthday dinner with the family. We received a hearty welcome when we entered the restaurant and the service was great. The food is excellent as always. Cannot wait to go back.
Wonderful! Food was incredible, we can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.
It was just ok.
This is our favorite family restaurant. Ten of us have eaten there for the past several Christmas Eve dinners. The staff is very accommodating and we always feel welcome. There is something on the menu for everyone in the family. One dish everyone from young to old loves is the white pizza!
Superb food, outstanding service and wonderful and caring ownership. One of the best restaurants anywhere. Never a bad meal and great wine selection..
The food and service are good but the prices seemed high for the quality. The absence of Lasagna and Tiramisu on the menu when we were there was a miss as well.
You can't go wrong with the eggplant parm! It is always consistently delicious. The wait staff are friendly but not in your face trying to hurry you along. Nice place for a relaxing dinner catching up with friends.
This is a hidden gem that I highly recommend. The food and inviting atmosphere reminded me of Italy and the amazing Italian cuisine.
wonderful! the food was perfectly prepared & served very quickly. we would recommend & will go back soon!
Always wonderful. My favorite restaurant. Best Eggplant Parmesan on the planet.
Best white pizza in town!
We have been coming to Amalfi's for a number of years. They make one of the best white, cheese pizza's. My wife had the eggplant parmigiana which was excellent and crispy. I had the frutta-di-mare over linguine. Only mussels and clams were great but the calamari was slightly over cooked. I had the white garlic sauce with was too watery but the flavor was still good. Differently we will come back.
Always a pleasure to eat here -- with a group or just with a couple of friends.
It's local, it's been here for over 40 years, and it keeps improving.
We had the pleasure of taking 3 of our Italian cousins visiting the US for the first time here to celebrate my brother's birthday and their visit. The food was mouth watering and any special requests were honored as we had 3 vegetarians in our group of 9. Our Italian cousins had never eaten white pizza and they were intrigued by it and enjoyed every morsel. John is always attentive and the bus person was also stellar in his customer service. Although a few specials were sold out there was plenty of delicious choices on the menu. The speed and accuracy of our orders was remarkable and we always tussle over the foccacia bread and homemade whipped butter. We also recommended everyone to share a dessert as they are also exquisite. It doesn't have to be a special occasion to dine at Amalfi's however the staff always makes you feel special whenever you dine there.
I’ve never been to an Italian Rest that serves chicken parm with the bones. Usually a nice thin cutlet is served. Food was not good. Ladies bathroom was filthy.
Amalfi's is our "go to" restaurant. We've been eating here for years more than three times a month. Everything is great! And not noisy!
Excellent vintage atmosphere, you completely forget you’re more or less in an industrial park. The staff nails the tricky balance between attentive and overbearing. The food - gnocchi for me and a sausage/mushroom pasta special for him - was incredible! And the cannoli?? YUM. Wine list by the glass or half carafe was not extensive but the Chianti we ordered was just right. Multiple dining rooms so we didn’t feel crowded even though we saw several people making their way out, so there must have been quite a few tables when we arrived for our 8 pm reservation. We intend to come here again with the in laws.
Excellent food and service. From soup, appetizers, main courses, beverages and amazing white pizza.
Amalfi is tried and true Italian home cooked food. My family has been going there since 1979, and we have never had abad meal.
My wife knows my favorite restaurant is Amalfi’s and she took me there for my birthday. I had the seafood platter in white sauce and it was absolutely delicious as I’ve come to expect over the many years I’ve eaten there. So was the Cannoli.
This is an excellent family-run restaurant, a bit of a hidden gem. The service is very personable, and the food is quite good. They also are very accommodating for people who need (or just want) gluten-free options. They even have gluten-free calamari!
