Amalfi Grille Ratings and Reviews
Amalfi is definitely one of the best Italian restaurant in Vero. The appetizer selections are very good especially the Broccoli Rabe with Sausage and the Artichoke Francese. The main course selections are also excellent with something that everyone should be able to find a preference.
My personnel favorite are the veal dishes (which can also be prepared with Chicken) are all very tender. They have a number of diverse preparations of them as well. Service is very competent and on point. A must visit when in Vero Beach!
We enjoyed a delightful evening at Amalfi Grille. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food selections were plentiful. We opted to choice from the regular menu. My husband had the veal parm and I chose grilled lobster with shrimp. The entrees were delicious and the portion size was generous. The food was delicious. We will definitely return.
We have discovered Amalfi Grill after having a 2nd home in Vero for 8 years. We love it. The grouper is my wife's new "go to" meal. And we both LOVE the broccoli with Italian sausage to start. I love the veal Milanese if they have it and the Veal Parmesan. But most of the other dishes are great too.
Service is very friendly, albeit slow at times. But worth the wait. His 2 sons help serve and 2 of the others have been there 8+ years, so a real family feel to it
And it is busy year round, not just a snowbird place like the barrier island.
Mr. Rose and the Amalfi grill never fails to impress. My family was visiting the area and I recommended that they visit this restaurant. The service was top notch, and the food was amazing. Most impressive was the care and detail that Mr. Rose the owner and his staff adhere to from start to finish. This should be the only Italian place worthy of your time if you are a local or visiting the area.
Very good overall. Our dinner was a little delayed but they told us they had had a small problem in the kitchen. We appreciated their telling us and not ignoring it
Food was very good when it arrived and the dessert was fantastic. We will definitely go back
This was my second visit to Amalfi Grill since they moved and it will not be my last. I love their special summer menu of 5 courses for 29.95. What a great way to experience so many items as the menu changes on a regular basis. Looking forward to sampling the special "gravy" made only for Sundays. The service is excellent, very attentive and friendly. I like being able to make a reservation on line, very convenient.
We chose Amalfi Grille to celebrate my wife's birthday. This was not our first visit, and we will visit Amalfi Grille again. The menu offers something for almost every taste, and the food is perfectly prepared. We enjoyed the experience, and wholeheartedly recommend Amalfi Grille.
Amalfi Grill has always been a special go to restaurant for our special occasions. We are lucky to have this restaurant to ourselves in the summertime. Winter crowds can be overwhelming. Our server was very attentive. Food appeared on time. My Flounder was as perfect as one may get for a fish . My biggest bugaboo is overcooking fish. This presentation was perfect. My wife's veal dish was also high up in her pantheon of good veal dishes. So far after several visits we have never been disappointed. Our Alsatian wine was a perfect complement. Overall a beautiful evening.
We've dined here many times before and will dine again in the future. Great atmosphere and food is fantastic. Last evening the owner greeted us and took us to our table. The waiter came and took our drink order which came almost immediately. My Manhattan was the best I've had in a long time. We took our time enjoying our drinks and the waiter brought a basket of bread and their special dipping sauce. We decided to order from the summer special men which is wonderful. You have a choice of appetizer, then a choice of salad, and then your choice of an entre. I chose the flounder picata. Also you have a choice between 2 desserts - all this for just $29! My flounder was served over spinach with the picata sauce and capers on it. Absolutely to die for! Our other friends opted for the liver and onions and totally enjoyed their food as well. I highly recommend Amalfi Grille to everyone. A most enjoyable evening was had by us all.
A warm and welcoming authentic Italian restaurant with good food. They have a five course special for $29 with many choices. The wine list is extensive with great Italian wines as well as American wines. The appetizers are very ample -- just be warned. The polpette are delicious along with the involtini melazane. I highly recommend the veal amalfi while my husband found the grouper francese light on the lemon. This restaurant is high on my list in Vero Beach!
Overall, the food was fair and the portions small. I didn't care for the bread with ranch type dressing, Italians....all about the bread! Appetizers were tiny. For the money, just not worth it. Servers attentive, efficient. Squeaky kitchen door was a distraction. Drink tasty, cappuccino plainly presented. Please be more creative with the bread.
The owner Robert was amazing. He welcomed my guests and I with warmth and love. I don't quite remember the name of our server but he was amazing. We went on Father's Day for dinner and upon seating our waiter informed us of the kitchen being delayed. We weren't in a rush. Another server came out with an appetizer on them for the wait. We were very appreciative. As soon as the kitchen got caught up everything was on time. I cannot count the amount of times Robert passed out tables helping out his staff and always checking on us and other guests. It was our first time there and from the appetizer to the dessert we weren't disappointed. We were all impressed, even my brother-in-law who's is a chef himself. The only critique is the dessert 3 out of the 4 of us ordered peach cobbler, but there was no cobbler (breeding) but, besides that, it was still amazing, fresh and authentic flavors. It's definitely a no rush restaurant, just sit back, relax and enjoy the flavors, and of course the drinks! I had a Bellini and a rum punch, my husband had a blueberry mojito and they were all beyond our expectations. We were all amazed. Thank you to everyone at the Almafi Grill who took care of us. We are locals but felt like we were in another city. The ambiance is amazing!
