About

This restaurant is permanently closed. Welcome to Amadeus Manor, the restaurant that presents classical cuisine. Here you will find some new classics, and some fresh interpretations of old favorites as well.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - His works are Classical...and continue to delight appreciative audiences everywhere. We relish his contributions to the art of music.

For 23 years, Amadeus' food has also been elevated to a classical stature...timelessly classical compositions of ingredients that entice the palette, much like music does to the ear...a symphony of expertly prepared courses.

With the beautiful river views and European setting, it is the perfect setting for a romantic dinner, wedding, anniversary, reception, celebration of life, business meetings, vacation or tour groups and holiday parties.

Apparently Amadeus is closed, and I advised Open Table via email on 12/24 - this restaurant needs to be removed from their site

Maybe it was a nice place to go, but when we showed up having made reservations, we discovered that it has closed down and is no longer open.

We reserved our table on Open Table for a Wednesday evening, to celebrate our anniversary. We drove a long way out of our way in the anticipation of a lovely evening and some good food. However, when we got there 15 minutes before our reservation, there was a cable across the driveway and no cars in the parking lot. We tried calling a few times and no one answered. We emailed and no one has responded to our email (and it's been 4 days since). Their phone message doesn't even specify what their hours are. We have no idea of why we were able to reserve a table when, apparently, the restaurant was closed, but we're pretty disappointed! We don't know wether or not to distrust the reservation service, or the lack of communication on the Manor's part, but we certainly won't be returning!

How and why did Open Table confirm a reservation at a restaurant that was not operating? This place was closed with No Trespassing signs posted. I will never be able to rely upon Open Table again.

Apparently they have closed.
We had reservations for dinner at this resturant for months.
On Dec 9th we arrived to find a chain blocking the entrance.
No notice and out of town friends, a very embarrassing experience.

We went for Thanksgiving. Restaurant was totally overwhelmed. What little staff we could identifydid not engage with or help customers whatsoever. Buffet style arrangement was flawed. Many stations out of food, including turkey. Wine bottles on common table were empty. After sitting at a table for 10-15 minutes with no communication by staff, we walked out. No one noticed or cared. Everyone was stressed- nobody seemed to be having a good time.

We were very disappointed, it was a brunch( which we didn’t know when we made the reservation. )
We were there at our reservation time and got in line. There was not many choices, the food was almost gone, only a green salad that was gone and all toppings were gone. Just turkey for the meat . The potato’s were nearly gone, you had to scrape the bottom of the pan for the gravy, the dressing was mostly dried bread crumbs, the rolls were cold and were like the brown and serve you buy at the store. The food was barely warm. The dessert was about an 1 1/2” slice of pumpkin pie. No variety.
We paid $50.00 each for this!!
I would never go there again!! Completely disappointing.
We were looking forward to going to this historic manor, I had worked there as a teenager and loved it. These new owners will not last! Sad !

Made reservations with OpenTable for dinner for two at Amadeus Manor. Reservations were confirmed by email. My wife and I arrived, on time, at the restaurant to find an empty parking lot and a long walk up hill on a roped-off driveway to the restaurant. The lights were on, tables set, no one in the restaurant, door locked, and two nice, well-fed cats at the door. My wife called the restaurant's phone, and an answering machine offered to take our reservation, but nothing else. Called one more time with the same result. The restaurant is in an odd, quaint location and is hard to see in its entirety, so we drove around the neighborhood to see another entrance could be found - nope.
This was a very planned, rare, and special evening with my wife. The drive to the restaurant was long.

Truly enjoyed eating here. The prices were high but the quality of food matched what was paid for. Would definitely recommend, especially on a Summer night. Beautiful view over the Willamette River.

Had a real nice experience at Amadeus Manor. This was a late mother's day dinner for my wife and I. Real comforting location. Good service in the bar and the dining room. I would recommend and plan to return with friends and family.

Mother's Day brunch was a big disappointment. The food was cold and mushy, there was only one dessert option, and we were seated in a random upstairs room with no view. My elderly father has limited mobility and was forced to climb 3 flights of stairs with a cane. Definitely not worth the money. The staff all seem to be running around like chickens with their heads cut off and service was awful.

Amadeus Manor is so beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous. The house is beautiful. Mothers Day brunch was way too expensive for the food choices. The buffet was full of lovely comfort food, but there was no price listed online. It was almost $100 for 2 people to eat and have two mimosas.

Amadeus at the Fernwood delivers the ultimate, elegant, slow-food experience! We've been celebrating special occasions and treating visiting family and friends to this rare treasure for over 20 years. The food is always remarkable, and the ambiance is unparalleled. How we love to wistfully imagine what it was like to live there! Simply put, this is classic fine dining at its best.
